  • Determine version of dll linked against

    According to this article, the version of a referenced dll is embedded in the exe file. Using ProcExp, I can see that the runtime loaded dll is indeed the latest dll available on my machine, but I'm interested to know the linked version. As a side note, I built the project using the VS9 msbuild, and interested in the VC runtime (msvcr90.dll) version. In the VC9 redist folder it is 9.0.30729.1, runtime the .4926 is loaded. My questions are: Is there any tool with which I can extract the dll version linked to (from the dll/exe)? Which version does VS link to by default? The one found in its redist folder? Thank you.

  • Android: how to obtain AssetManager without reference to Context?

    I have a Class that needs to obtain a reference to it's application's AssetManager. This class does not extend any sort of android UI class, so it doesn't have a getContext() method, or anything similar. Is there some sort of static Context.getCurrentApplicationContext() type of method? To clarify: my class is intended to be used like a library, for other applications. It has no associated AndroidManifest.xml or control over the context which is calling it.

    Hi All, I want to know if I can find/reach UI components of running application under Android OS. it is possible to catch the Button/DDL/.. that was clicked by the user in real-time, example from other subject(web): In browser I can listen to the events and catch the DOM object that was clicked, in this way I can save the DOM object data. catching UI components that was changed by the user will give the option to save UI componentdata, and to perform the user actions automatic.     dear friends, i have created a "pick date" item text inside android spinner and written event onItemSelected to open datepicker dialog if user clicks on that perticular text. but the problem is if once date picker is opened i press cancel of datepicker dialog and then i try to re open it clicking on date picker text of spinner no event is called. can any one guide me what which event should i use ? any help would be appriciated.
