  • Call a Firebug command from client code.

    I would like to apply some sort of IoC, with debugee code, i.e. the current HTML document, and the debugger, Firebug. It would be great to have some sort of document that asks Firebug to open a push channel from the document, versus the more common scenario of the debugger pulling information from the debugee document. Is this possible and or feasible?

    Hello guys, I have done some searching but really haven't found what I'm looking for. What I would like to do is generate a random BUT unique 5 digit number and push whatever number into an img tag on my page. For example when people come to my page this number would generate and get pushed into this image tag: <img src="http://www.sample.com?randomNUM=12345" height="1" width="1" /> I have a mySQL DB and am looking to do this in PHP. Thing is that every time I make change on the code, it takes some time to push it to openshift and check if it works.     Hi. Here is an image to illustrate what i mean: http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/497/windowsmobilee.png I have one backpanel that listens to mouse_down event. Infront of that backpanel i have another panel(Overlaying panel), and a label in top. If i push the mousebutton on the label or the "Overlaying panel", nothing is registered. Is it possible to just make the backpanel listen for mouse actions, or do i have to create listeners for the other panel and label to? Thanks in advance

  • Will git-svn send file permission changes to a SVN repository?

    I'm using git-svn in a svn environment. When i check out .sh files they do not get the +x flag. So i change that manually, but now git tells me the file has been modified. My question is: If i'd stage + commit those +x changes, will git push them to the svn server when i "git svn dcommit"? This is not what i want, i just want git to 'memorize' the +x changes locally but not to try to send file permission changes to the svn repository.

    Currently I have two versions of rack installed on my computer 1.0.1 and 1.2.1 However, when I tried to push my git to Heroku, it complains You have already activated rack 1.0.1, but your Gemfile requires rack 1.2.1. Consider using bundle exec. (Gem::LoadError) How can I deactivate rack 1.0.1 and activate 1.2.1 instead? (I can't uninstall 1.0.1 since it's under system folder and I don't have the root password)

    Is it possible to launch any arbitrary iPhone application from within another app? For example in my application if I want the user to push a button and launch right into the Phone app (close the current app, open the Phone app), would this be possible? I know this can be done for making phone calls with the tel URL link, but I want to instead just have the Phone app launch without dialing any specific number.
