    Confused here. What's the best way to change the hover CSS of the link below, and how? toggle.Class? add.Class? I want to show an image on hover.   • IE is not firing ajax call in jquery

    I have this code that it is working on firefox and chrome, but in IE8/IE7 it's not working.   • Trying to use jquery ui in google chrome extension in the content level

    The problem is that the scope of the content script is on the web page that your plugin is suppose to be used at. So the css background:url(images/ui-bg_inset-hard_100_fcfdfd_1x100.png) becomes url('http://webpageforplugin/images/ui-bg_inset-hard_100_fcfdfd_1x100.png') in order for this to work as far as i understood i need to have it to point to: url('chrome-extension://extensionId/images/ui-bg_inset-hard_100_fcfdfd_1x100.png') So i tried to haxorz the document.styleSheets var ss = document.styleSheets; for (var i=0; i<ss.length; i++) { var found=-1, x,i; var rules = ss[i].cssRules || ss[i].rules; for (var j=0; j<rules.length; j++) { if ('.ui-helper-hidden'==rules[j].selectorText){ found=i; break; } } if (found>-1){ for (var j=0; j<rules.length; j++) { if (x=rules[j].style.background){ if ((i=x.indexOf('url'))!=-1) rules[j].style.background = x.replace('http://page/images/','chrome-extension://extensionId/images/'); } } break; } }; I feel that i'm missing the obvious.     The code below allows me to change a preview image outside the carousel widget so that it matches the element under the mouse. For example, if the user mouses over image2's thumbnail, the script updates .selectedImage so that it displays image2's full size version. I'd like to enhance it so that the #myThumbs options listing updates its "selected" option to match the carousel image that receives a click. Mouseover changes the preview image and click changes the select list to match the same name.     I modified a sample photo manager application. photo manager application Instead of photos, I have employee records coming from a query. My version will let managers mark employees as on vacation, or at work. One of the things I did is to include employee ids like <a href="123">. I get the ids from event.target. This works for the click function but not for the "droppable" function. I'm updating the label like so: $myLabel.text("hello"); The text is being displayed correctly on the screen butwhen I try to save the text value to an object in the code behind (When I press a button) the text property of the label is "" and not "hello". var myLabel = myLabel.Text; //the var myLabel is "" when it should be "hello" Any ideas as to why this would be?     Let's say I do this: $("#content").load(...); Within what I'm loading some javascript is included: var myCounter = 0; var myInterval = setInterval(function(){ myCounter++; $("#counter-display").html("Count: "+myCounter); }); For an unknown reason, if I reload the content with $("#content").load(...); - myInterval is now being called twice. I tried doing something like: if (myInterval !== undefined){ //dont set interval again } However, it doesn't work. Does anyone know any method so that myInterval is cleared on .load, without needing to put the javascript outside of the loaded file?
