    Hi, what happens when you cin letter to int variable? I tried simple code to add 2 int numbers, first read them, than add them. But when I enter letter, it just fails and prints tons of numbers to screen. But what causes this error? I mean, I expected it to load and use ASCII code of that letter.

    I thought about this: Is there a performance difference in these two practices: Store the return value of a function in a temporary variable than give that variable as a parameter to another function. Put the function into the other function. Specification Assuming all classes and functions are written correctly. Case 1. ClassA a = function1(); ClassB b = function2(a); function3(b); Case 2. function3(function2(function1())); I know there aren't a big difference with only one run, but supposed that we could run this a lot of times in a loop, I created some tests.     My problem is this I have a base page that creates content dynamically. There are buttons on my Master Page that fire events that my base page needs to know about. But the OnLoad function on my base page fires before my Button_Command function on my master page. So I either need to figure out a way to load my base page after the Button_Command function has had the chance to set a variable or I must call a function in my base page from the Button_Command function.

  • games and movies become too slow after some time

    On my gaming desktop, I was fixing my desktop's power supply when something seemed to burn (I got that stinging burning smell). However when I turned ON the computer (it was OFF before), everything seemed to be fine. However, I have noticed that now it becomes too slow if I play a game or movie on it. I am talking about the computer becoming painfully slow after about 5 minutes into the movie/game (it works fine otherwise e.g. browsing), it becomes so slow I can see individual frames from movies/games. What could be the problem? A fried video card? friend memory (RAM), something else?   • How to post data in PHP using file_get_contents?

    I am using PHP's function file_get_contents() to fetch contents of a URL and then I process headers through the variable $http_response_header. Now the problem is that some of the URLs need some data to be posted to the URL (for example, login pages). How do I do that? I realize using stream_context I may be able to do that but I am not entirely clear. Thanks.
