• appstore launch request unable to complete

  I am trying to launch an appstore page with either of the calls: [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myappname/id999999999?mt=8"]]; [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.itunes.com/apps/myappname"]]; Both of these urls work when I enter them in a browser. However, from both simulator and device, I get a "Your request could not be completed" error dialog right after it appears to try to launch the appstore. Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong?

  Could someone enlighten me as to why including www in a ajax request causes it to fail. i.e. This works: $('#mydiv').load('http://mydomain.com/getitems'); But this doesn't (returns nothing) $('#mydiv').load('http://www.mydomain.com/getitems'); Note that www.mydomain.com/getitems is a valid domain, in the sense that if I point my web browser to it I am able to load the page.

  Hi, I have a WCF service hosted at local IIS. I created a ASP.NET website that consumes this service hosted at IIS. While running it from Visual Studio WebDev Server, everything works fine, but as soon as i run the same website [after hosting in IIS] from the browser, the website doesnt seem to be communicating with the Service! The same setup when runs from Visual Studio WebDev Server, doesnt function from IIS! Any know isues? Please help! Thanks

  i run web application on iis 6 , windows server 2003 , mysql database. first it was working fine, but when i reconfigured the mysql server with the same password it gave me this message error when i want to enter any page in browser : "MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: There is no 'root'@'%' registered". i checked the app connection it's the same, as though the app doesn't see the localhost , because "dbforge" sometimes give me this message: "connection localhost cannot be found" but when i doubleclick the connection it opens as root. any idea to solve this problem

As I, currently, understand, Google Chrome puts bookmarks seperatly from Google Bookmarks, which is accessible in Firefox by using Google Toolbar for Firefox. Right?   I have an issue with uiimageviews resizing at run time. On one view I have more than a dozen uiimageviews contained within a uiscrollview. The images are assigned at design time. The uiimageview's are all the same size. The mode is set to Aspect Fill for all uiimageviews. At run time the images appear correctly in the view. On a second view I have only 9 uiimageviews. These uiimageviews will display up to nine of the images selected from the first view. There are three images across and three images down. The uiimageview at design time is the same size as on the first view. The uiimageview image is assigned an image that is loaded into an array. All the uiimageviews are sized the same and they also have the mode set to Aspect Fill. The images are assigned at run time using image1.image = xxx. Where xxx is an image stored in an array. However, on this second view, the images are not all the same size. The height of the image changes dynamically. The same image displayed in a different uiimageview on the view will be different sizes. It is the height of the uiimageview that changes. In some cases the image will fill the uiimageview differently. It is like the mode changes dynamically. I've tried using different modes and nothing changes. Any ideas on what is happening?

  Without using jQuery, what is the best way to limit text entry of a textbox to numbers, lowercase letters and a given set of symbols (for example - and _)? If the user enters an uppercase letter, I would like it to be automatically converted to a lowercase letter, and if the user enters a symbol not within the given set, I would like to be able to instantly show a validation error (show some element adjacent to or below the text box). What's the cleanest cross-browser way of doing this without the aid of jQuery?
