• Why wouldn't my computer science teacher let me use goto loops? [closed]

  Possible Duplicate: GOTO still considered harmful? There were times the code would have been so much shorter, but my high school CS teacher would never allow us to use goto loops. Is it just bad form? Is there any time that it's acceptable to use goto loops? The links2 browser uses goto loops. I'm just saying.

  I have placed 2 images side by side in a div besides input box "Search by Contact". In the browser I find there is a gap between the 2nd image(Button T) and the one on its left.   assumbe ie is still the dominate web browser, the XMLHttpRequest.responseText or XMLHttpRequest.responseXML in ie desire txt or xml/xhtml/html,but what about the server response the xmlHttprequest whith MIME TYPE octact/binary? would the response string all littele than 256 ?(every char of that string < 256), thanks very much for a straight answer, i have no webserver env,so i don't know how to test it out.

• DNS resolve without depending on router for asterisk system

  Hello, Basically I have a Debian box running asterisk assigned an IP via DHCP with host-name XXX. My windows browser can resolve the host-name but if I use host-name in X-Lite or my SPA922 phone it fails to resolve. Is there any way of getting this to work without depending on the router or assigning a static IP (request is to make it portable). I was thinking zero-conf but am unsure (box has limited HDD too). Any help is most appreciated.

  Is there a way to prevent the user from selecting a file that is not a specified file type when they browser for the file on their computer? For example, when a user browseses to upload an image file I would for them to only see images (jpg, png, ect.) that are less than 20mb. • Can I clear a webapp in Chrome?

  I've written a webapp that has a manifest that includes all the javascript and images that it requires. Unfortunately, even when I change the manifest file, it doesn't seem to reload the javascript. Is there a way to delete the webapp completely from Chrome? Clearing the browser cache doesn't seem to work. I'm running Chrome 5.0.375.55 on a Mac. Any help very gratefully received.
