    Hi. How to trigger TBN_TOOLBARCHANGE from inside my c++ code? Is it the same as writing like this line below? SendMessage(m_hWndToolbar, TB_SETBUTTONINFO, m_buttonID, (LPARAM)(&inf)); Inside this project's code there is this line inside one the header file: BEGIN_MSG_MAP(CRebarHandler) NOTIFY_CODE_HANDLER(TBN_DROPDOWN, onNotifyDropDown) NOTIFY_CODE_HANDLER(TBN_TOOLBARCHANGE, onNotifyToolbarChange) NOTIFY_CODE_HANDLER(NM_CUSTOMDRAW, onNotifyCustomDraw) NOTIFY_CODE_HANDLER(TBN_ENDADJUST, onNotifyEndAdjust) MESSAGE_HANDLER(WM_SETREDRAW, onSetRedraw) END_MSG_MAP() It has already defined that for each TBN_TOOLBARCHANGE call, it will trigger the function onNotifyToolbarChange. For this example, it is triggered by IE. Inside my code, I need to trigger that particular function. And before that I need to trigger the TBN_TOOLBARCHANGE`. I just want to know how can it be done inside code, for example under a conditional statement.

    Instead of The ELEMENTS being 25 is there a way to randomly generate a large array of elements....10000, 100000, or even 1000000 elements and then use my insertion sort algorithms. I am trying to have a large array of elements and use insertion sort to put them in order and then also in reverse order. Next I used clock() in the time.h file to figure out the run time of each algorithm.     what is the right way to setup VisualStuio 2010 for working with *.cl files? I have added *.cl under Tool/Text editor/File extensions and copied usertype.dat into the common7/ide folder, but VS underlines keywords like float4 or cross. Is it necessary to add some key in registry or can somebody propose a tutorial? Thanks in advance. PS i have already asked similar question old one question, but now i am looking explicit for a solution with vs2010. It is not bad, but really nerves and deflects me from programming tasks.

  • VS2010 (older) installer project - two or more objects have the same target location.

    This installer project was created back in 2004 and upgraded ever since. There are two offending dll files, which produce a total of 4 errors. I have searched online for this warning message and did not find a permanent fix (I did manage to make it go away once until I have done something like a clean, or built in Release, and then in Debug). I also tried cleaning, and then refreshing the dependencies. The duplicated entries are still in there. I also did not find a good explanation for what this error means. Additional warnings are of this nature: Warning 36 The version of the .NET Framework launch condition '.NET Framework 4' does not match the selected .NET Framework bootstrapper package. Update the .NET Framework launch condition to match the version of the .NET Framework selected in the Prerequisites Dialog Box. So, where is this prerequisites box? I want to make both things agree on .Net 4.0, just having a hard time locating both of them.

I'm not sure what is going wrong, but I noticed, that the value of oldWallPaper looks something like "C\0\:\0\0U\0s\0e\0r\0s[...]" -- I'm wondering where all the \0s come from. A friend of mine compiled it on windows xp 32 (also VC++ 2010) and is able to run it without problems any clues/hints/opinions? thanks

  • Why Controller doesn't recognize a public method which (yet) appears in the intellisense ?

    Hello, I'm using an helper class that I called CreateEditOrganizationService where I put all the helper methods. In my controller, I've createService as object of that class. So far, I've got 5 methods. Now, I've just defined a 6th method called Set_TypeOrganization. I'm getting the Set_TypeOrganization in the intellisense, but after I've chose it, I get the following error: *CreateEditOrganizationService does not contain a definition for Set_TypeOrganization are you missing a directive or a reference?* public List<TypeOrganization> Set_TypeOrganization(string choice) { //Definition goes here... } and in my Controller CreateEditOrganizationService createService = new CreateEditOrganizationService(); //... ViewData["TypeOrganizations"] = createService.Set_TypeOrganization(choice); Unfortunately, VS shows me the error? Yet, the method appear in the intellisense when I type a dot after the createService object. Thannks for helping

    Hi, is there a way - much like the way i can see the result of preprocessing when using 'gcc -E' - to see what my objects look like once the compiler compiled them into object files? I am not too good in reading assembler, so an advice to get the results as text would be nice .. or at least a little 'howto read the constructor intructions' or 'howto find the constructor' ... I am talking about gcc/g++, but a solution including msvc would be fine. Thanks!

    I would like to add Infragistics dlls as custom prerequisite when publishing my project. I wonder if exists a bit simple way to archive that (eg by passing URL to setup.exe or such) ?     My debugger does not work when I start project in debug mode. But when I set checkbox Allow the source code to different from the original version. Debugger works. But solution not wokrs properly. For example for files with build action "Content" and Copy to outputDirectory to "Copy if newer" does not copy to bin/Debug Is anybody know the solution?

I never seen such function definitions in my life. They seem to be valid to MSVC but when I compile it as C++ it gives errors. What is it? some kind of old version C?

    I'm using a stored procedure in a sql database as the data source for a SqlDataSourceControl on my .aspx page. I'm then using the SqlDataSourceControl as the data source for a gridview on my page. Paging is set to true on the gridview. What i would like to do is set the text of a label to the total number of rows in the gridview. I can use this code 'labelRowCount.Text = GridView2.Rows.Count & " layers found" to return the number of results per page, but it doesn't give me the total. I've looked in several places and haven't been successful in finding a solution.

    Hi I have a Windows Form application. I have a Textbox. I want to implement a functionality like when the user clicks on the textbox, a list should be made available to the user and then the item selected from the list should be filled in the textbox. The list should not be available if some other control is focussed other than the textbox. What would be the better way to do this? Should I implement the list in the same form as the textbox or should I use another form for the list? I want to implement a functionality like in the Tally Accounting Software.

  • Are there any good version control programs for a Windows box that do not have to be installed?

    On my work machine, I do not have the permissions to install anything, and astoundingly, there are not any version control software packages set up. I am using VS2008, and was hoping to work around depending on SourceSafe. I've talked to the network admin, and all I could get was "We don't have any version control set up." Are there any good ways of going about this, or do I have to just bite the bullet?
