  • MySQL Import Database Error because of Extended Inserts

    - by Castgame
Hello all, I'm importing a 400MB(uncompressed) MySQL database. I'm using BIGDUMP, and I am getting this error: Stopped at the line 387. At this place the current query includes more than 300 dump lines. That can happen if your dump file was created by some tool which doesn't place a semicolon followed by a linebreak at the end of each query, or if your dump contains extended inserts. Please read the BigDump FAQs for more infos. I believe the file does contain Extended Inserts, however I have no way to regenerate the database as it has been deleted from the old server. How can I import this database or convert it to be imported? Thanks for any help. Best Nick EDIT: It appears the only viable answer is to separate the extended inserts, but I still need help figuring out how to split the file as the answer below suggests. Please help. Thank you.

  • Any way to find out which line break char(s) to use in Javascript?

    - by Irro
I'm trying to parse some text into a textarea control and at the same time replace all with ordinary line break chars. I have been able to do it in windows by replacing with CR (it didn't work with CRLF strangely enough, it gave me linebreak + empty space) but I'm afraid that this code won't work in Unix/Mac because they use LF for line break. Is there any way to use the system default line break char in javascript? Something similar to Environment.NewLine in .Net (I wasn't able to write backslash in this editor but I use /r for CR and /n for LF, replace / with backslash)

  • Extra line breaks inserted in MrEd text%

    - by Jesse Millikan
    In a DrScheme project, I'm using a MrEd editor-canvas% with text% and inserting a string from a literal in a Scheme file. This results in an extra blank line in the editor for each line of text I'm trying to insert. Is this a Windows vs. Unix linebreak problem? I can't find anything about text% treats line breaks in the documentation. ; Inside a class definition: (define/public (edit-pattern p j b d h) (send input-beat set-value (number->string b)) (send input-dwell set-value (number->string d)) (send hold-beats set-value (number->string h)) (send juggler-t erase) ; Why do these add extra newlines (send juggler-t insert j) (send pattern-t erase) (send pattern-t insert p)) (define juggler-ec (new editor-canvas% [parent this] [line-count 12])) (define juggler-t (new text%)) (send juggler-ec set-editor juggler-t) (define pattern-ec (new editor-canvas% [parent this] [line-count 20])) (define pattern-t (new text%)) (send pattern-ec set-editor pattern-t) ; Lots of other stuff...

  • How can I set Vim to obey accents of my spoken language?

    - by naxa
When pressing w or e in sentences with accents (written in my native language), such as the first one (marked **) here: **Éj-mélybol fölzengo** - csing-ling-ling - száncsengo. Száncsengo - csing-ling-ling - tél csendjén halkan ring. [1] the characters o, ö, among others [2], make my gVim think they are word-ends so it stops on them (in Normal mode). gVim stops on the positions marked with _ where it shouldn't: Éj-mélyb_ol f_ölzeng_o. I would like to set gVim so it properly handle words even when containing accents and other local characters. But where do I set this? I use it on Win32, vim v 7.3.46. [1] - excerpt of a poem by Weöres Sándor [2] - "others", not mentioned here :) like í, u are also a problem. On the other hand, gVim seems to already work with é and á. gVim version info: VIM - Vi IMproved 7.3 (2010 Aug 15, compiled Oct 27 2010 17:59:02) Included patches: 1-46 Compiled by Bram@KIBAALE Big version with GUI. • Python not Working in Vim

    - by jdg
I have a new install of VIM from the automatic windows installer: gvim73_46.exe I have Python 2.7 (32 bit) installed. If I open gvim, and type: :set python? I get E518: Unknown option. If I try typing: :python 'hello' Vim crashes. What could be wrong? Here are the contents of :version in case they are helpful, although python is installed, and it is using Python 2.7. I also checked, and C:\Windows\System32\python27.dll is where it should be... I am really lost here. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going wrong? • F2 in Paste mode

    - by dotancohen
Vim has a terrific paste mode, in which abbreviations and mappings are ignored. Frustratingly, even keys that do not map to pastable ASCII characters, such as the function keys, are pasted literally. For instance the key F2 is pasted as <F2>. Is there anyway around this? Note that pastetoggle can in fact be mapped to a function key to easily leave paste mode, however the function that I am writing changes other values when entering or leaving paste mode (such as enabling or disabling line numbers and other things). Therefore I would really like to find a workaround. For reference, here is the current version of the function (that gets stuck in paste mode): iab if if<Space>(<Space>{{<Esc>kA<Left><Left><Left><Left><C-R>=Eatchar('\s')<CR> " Triple-toggle Insert Modes: coding, prose, and paste let g:insertModeGlobal=1 function! • Why can't I source my vimrc after installing vundle?

    - by John N
I'm trying to get my Vim to update on the fly after editing vimrc. So I followed the instructions at Vimcast which basically source vimrc every time you hit save. But that doesn't work for some reason (when I save my vimrc it doesn't give any errors), so I decided to run source $HOME/.vimrc manually and here's what I got: -bash: Configuration file for vim set nocompatible : command not found -bash: Plugin Management { filetype off : command not found -bash: .vimrc: line 7: syntax error near unexpected token `(' -bash: .vimrc: line 7: ` call vundle#rc()' And here's my Vim info (I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.3): VIM - Vi IMproved 7.3 (2010 Aug 15, compiled Jul 31 2011 19:27:29) Compiled by [email protected] Normal version without GUI. • Wrapping mailmessage headers in .net for Sendgrid

    - by mickyjtwin
Am using SendGrid for some email notifications, specifically utilising their SMTP API's. While they have PHP examples, c# is not so helpful. Essentially, a json string is built that contains the to email addresses, and other custom filters etc, which is then added to a MailMessage header to send. // json string example {"to":["[email protected]", [email protected]", "", ""],"sub":{"<name>":["Name1", Name2"]}} MailMessage m = new MailMessage("[email protected]", "[email protected]"); m.Headers.Add("X-SMTPAPI", jsonString); The problem I am having is that for some MTA's, headers can only be 1000 characters long, and also quoted-principle encoding required only 76 character per line. In their php example, they are splitting the string and adding a linebreak (\n) every 72 characters. While I am doing this in .NET, I am receiving a invalid character exception. After some digging, it seems that pre-.NET4.0 Beta2 MailMessage will not process CLLR characters. Sengrid support is not proving helpful, and looking at ways to make this work?

  • Accessing the selected element inside a templated textblock bound to a wpf listbox

    - by black sensei
Hello good people , i'm trying to achieve a functionality but i'm don't know how to start it. I'm using vs 2008 sp1 and i'm consuming a webservice which returns a collection (is contactInfo[]) that i bind to a ListBox with little datatemplate on it. <ListBox Margin="-146,-124,-143,-118.808" Name="contactListBox" MaxHeight="240" MaxWidth="300" MinHeight="240" MinWidth="300"> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock> <CheckBox Name="contactsCheck" Uid="{Binding fullName}" Checked="contacts_Checked" /><Label Content="{Binding fullName}" FontSize="15" FontWeight="Bold"/> <LineBreak/> <Label Content="{Binding mobile}" FontSize="10" FontStyle="Italic" Foreground="DimGray" /> <Label Content="{Binding email}" FontStyle="Italic" FontSize="10" Foreground="DimGray"/> </TextBlock> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> Every works fine so far. so When a checkbox is checked i'll like to access the information of the labels (either the) belonging to the same row or attached to it and append the information to a global variable for example (for each checkbox checked). My problem right now is that i don't know how to do that. Can any one shed some light on how to do that? if you notice Checked="contacts_Checked" that's where i planned to perform the operations. thanks for reading and helping out

  • JSP Document/JSPX: what determines how space/linebreaks are removed in the output?

    - by NoozNooz42
I've got a "JSP Document" ("JSP in XML") nicely formatted and when the webpage is generated and sent to the user, some linebreaks are removed. Now the really weird part: apparently the "main" .jsp always gets all its linebreak removed but for any subsequent .jsp included from the main .jsp, linebreaks seems to be randomly removed (some are there, others aren't). For example, if I'm looking at the webpage served from Firefox and ask to "view source", I get to see what is generated. So, what determines when/how linebreaks are kept/removed? This is just an example I made up... Can you force a .jsp to serve this: <body><div id="page"><div id="header"><div class="title">... or this: <body> <div id="page"> <div id="header"> <div class="title">... ? I take it that linebreaks are removed to save on bandwidth, but what if I want to keep them? And what if I want to keep the same XML indentation as in my .jsp file? Is this doable?

EDIT Following skaffman's advice, I took a look at the generated .java files and the "main" one doesn't have lots of out.write but not a single one writing tabs nor newlines. Contrary to that file, all the ones that I'm including from that main .jsp have lots of lines like: out.write("\t...\n"); So I guess my question stays exactly the same: what determines how tabs/space/linebreaks are included/removed in the output?

  • How do I recover from pushing a gitosis.conf file with parsing errors due to line breaks?

    - by Kasia
I have successfully set up gitosis for an Android mirror (containing multiple git repositories). While adding a new .git path following writable= in gitosis.conf I managed to insert a few line breaks. I have removed the line break and amendend the commit by git commit -m "fix linebreak" --amend However git push still yields the exact same error. It leads me to believe gitosis is preventing me from doing any further pushes. How do I recover from this?

  • IE 8 remove line break between nodes with JavaScript

    - by Tokimon
Ok i have a list of HTML nodes which should be inline with no spacing between them. The problem is, that the nodes are written from a CMS and therefore will come with all sorts of linebreaks and spaces. Therefore I'm removing the spaces with JS using the method descibed in this question. The problem is, however, that in IE (not 9) the white spaces isn't part of the childrens list of the parent node, rendering the method useless in IE. However IE 7 (or at least IE 9 emulating IE 7) ignores the linebreaks, so that one is in the clear. That leaves IE 8 as the troublemaker. I discovered that the line break is actually a part of the outerHTML and that a simple reset of the outerHTML did the trick - like so: node.outerHTML = node.outerHTML However this will reset the node intirely and therefore removing all events and other settings on the node, which isn't really any good. So my question is now: Is there a way to remove that linebreak from the nodes outerHTML whitout resetting the node? I've tried with zoom: 1, but to no avail. Hope anyone has any experience with this.

  • Creating sublines on Joomla menu items

    - by ploughansen
In my toplevel menu items, I would like to make a subline for each item. I don't think it's possible to do by default, byt YooTheme has done it in many of their templates. The menu output look like this <div class="moduletable_menu"> <ul id="mainmenu" class="menu"> <li class="active item1" id="current"> <a href="URL_HIDDEN"> <span>Services</span> </a> </li> </ul> This basically outputs a one line menu item like so: Services What I would like to do is have a menu item like this: Services Service x, Service y, Service z For reference, have a look at the main menu on the YooTheme demo page. The way YooTheme does this, is using two pipes (||) as a linebreak, so in the Joomla backend you type "Services||Service x, Service y, Service z" as the menu title, and then there must be some fancy javascript that breaks this title into two spans, ready to be styled using css. Does anyone know of an easy way to code this? Please note that I am looking to build this feature into a custom template (ie. non-yootheme). Also note that I am not using MooTools, but Jquery instead.

  • How to change key mappings in Cygwin's Vim

    - by Boldewyn
I'm using Vim under Debian, Win Vista and WinXP (the latter two with Cygwin). To handle tabs more easily, I mapped <C-Left> and <C-Right> to :tab(prev|next). This mapping works like a charm on the Debian machine. On the Windows machines, however, pressing <C-Left> deletes 5 lines, as far as I can tell, and meddles with cursor position, while <C-Right> does this, too, and additionally enters Insert mode. Question: To put it in a nutshell, how can I find out, why Vim behaves as it does? Is there a way to backtrace the active commands and keystrokes? Could there be a plugin the culprit? (I didn't install one, perhaps a default include by the Cygwin distro...) If so, how can I find it? Edit 1: OK, it seems, that I got a first trace: The terminal sends for <C-Left> '^[[1;5D', and for right '^[[1;5C' (evaluated with the <C-V><C-Left> trick). If vim interprets this literally and discards the first characters, it explains the strange behaviour. Any ideas, how I could change this key mapping? Additional Diagnosis: This behaviour occurs regardless of any existing ~/.vimrc file (is therefore not related to my above mentioned mapings) and is not inherited of some /etc/vim/vimrc, since this doesn't exist in the default Cygwin installation. :verbose map doesn't yield any new insights. • How to find out Vim's currently mapped commandos

Additional Diagnosis: This behaviour occurs regardless of any existing ~/.vimrc file (is therefore not related to my above mentioned mapings) and is not inherited of some /etc/vim/vimrc, since this doesn't exist in the default Cygwin installation. :verbose map doesn't yield any new insights. Either nothing or my mentioned mappings appear, based on the existence of the .vimrc file :help <C-Left> suggests, that the default would be a simple cursor movement, which is apparently not the case. • Vim configuration slow in Terminal & iTerm2 but not in MacVim

    - by Jey Balachandran
Ideally, I want to use Vim from Terminal or iTerm2. However, it becomes unbearably slow so I had to resort to using MacVim. There is nothing wrong with MacVim, however my workflow would be much smoother if I used only Terminal/iTerm2. When its slow Loading files, in particular Rails files takes about 1 - 1.5s. Removing rails.vim decreases this time to 0.5 - 1s. In MacVim this is instantaneous. Scrolling through the rows and columns via h, j, k, l. It progressively gets slower the longer I hold down the keys. Eventually, it starts jumping rows. I have my Key Repeat set to Fast and Delay Until Repeat set to Short. After 10 - 15 minutes of usage, using plugins such as ctrlp or Command-T gets very laggy. I'd type a letter, wait 2 - 3s, then type the next. My Setup 11" MacBook Air running Mac OS X Version 10.7.3 (1.6 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB DDR3) My dotfiles. > vim --version VIM - Vi IMproved 7.3 (2010 Aug 15, compiled Nov 16 2011 16:44:23) MacOS X (unix) version Included patches: 1-333 Huge version without GUI. It opens files a lot faster but still not as fast as MacVim. But the other two problems still exist. Why is my vim configuration slow? How can I improve the speed of my vim configuration within Terminal or iTerm2?

  • Vim digraphs is not working

I've tried to input digraphs in Vim (without vi compatibility), and unfortunately I can't. After using ControlKP * it should input big greek pi letter. • Trying to get these list items to display inline

    - by Joel
I have several unordered lists that I want to display like this: <ul> <li><img></li> <li><p></li> //inline </ul> //linebreak <ul> <li><img></li> <li><p></li> //inline </ul> ...etc I'm not able to get the li items to be inline with eachother. They are stacking vertically. I have stripped away most styling but still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong: html: <ul class="instrument"> <li class="imagebox"><img src="/images/matepe.jpg" width="247" height="228" alt="Matepe" /></li> <li class="textbox"><p>The matepe is a 24 key instrument that is played by the Kore-Kore people in North-Eastern Zimbabwe and Mozambique. It utilizes four fingers-each playing an individual melody. These melodies also interwieve to create resultant melodies that can be manipulated thru accenting different fingers. The matepe is used in Rattletree as the bridge from the physical world to the spirit world. The matepe is used in the Kore-Kore culture to summon the Mhondoro spirits which are thought to be able to communicate directly with Mwari (God) without the need of an intermediary.</p></li> </ul> <ul class="instrument"> <li class="imagebox"><img src="/images/soprano_little.jpg" border="0" width="247" height="170" alt="Soprano" /></li> <li class="textbox"><p>The highest voice of the Rattletree Marimba orchestra is the Soprano marimba.
