  • Getting chrome to distinguish between search engine query or URL entry?

    So I use the quick search engine thing on chrome a lot. I type "w superman" if I want to find the wikipedia article for superman and even "tfs 13323" if I want to find the work item in TFS. The only problem is that with Google's new auto complete thing, sometimes I'll type in tfs 13030 and I'll get taken to the google search page having searched for "tfs 13030". The only way I can get rid of this is to clear my browser history. I guess the problem with using search and url on both the same bar is it gets confused about whether ur searching or ur entering a url. Is there a way around this?

    Recently I have started my journey Oracle SOA Suite and the first big hurdle everyone warned me off is setting up Oracle SOA Suite environment in our personal machine for learning. My laziness pushed me to search for much easier way than regular all download, configuration stuff and bang..! I found in the solution oracle site itself. Oracle SOA Suite on Virtual Box. For those who are not aware of Virtual Box, it’s a virtualization software which enables u to install multiple operating systems on a virtual hard drive which in turn managed by Virtual Box. In short pack ur Operating System, Software, Files everything into a VM and carry it wherever u go. Coming to Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle is offering a prebuilt VM for download which u can mount on ur Virtual box and that all you need. Here is the link for Virtual Box image of Oracle SOA Suite. Virtual Box can be downloaded here It’s a huge download. I’m yet to try it myself. Will get back to my writer again once I’m done.

  • Oracle JDBC connection exception in Solaris but not Windows?

    I have some Java code that connects to an Oracle database using DriverManager.getConnection(). It works just fine on my Windows XP machine. However, when running the same code on a Solaris machine, I get the following exception. Both machines can reach the database machine on the network. I have included the Oracle trace logs.   • Publishing SWF using Adobe Flash

    Hello everyone, I have a SWF file which contains of an image (1keyframe) and also, it contains an AS3 file with the following codes: var loader:Loader=new Loader(); var ur:URLRequest=new URLRequest("1.swf"); loader.load(ur); addChild(loader); so basically, i am trying to play the swf file (1.swf - an audio) while the image is being displayed. What I want to know is how will I be able to publish this project into an SWF file which can still play as expected even without the raw 1.swf file. I can publish SWF right now but when I delete the 1.swf file, my generated swf can only display the image. Help me please. Thanks in advance :)

Thats the problem everytime that i tried to boot it came an error... syslinux no default or ui configuration directive found. Before post an answer i already tried renamed isolinux etc (folder and cfg n bin) with syslinux and tried too using yumi, universal boot and live linux... Thanks for ur help!

One of my colleuges is going to make some statistics out of this database and I'm not capable of finding a reasonable SQL-query for getting the data. I have two tables, one with registrations and one with registrationdetails.     Recently, I had a user control I was developing throw an exception. I know what caused the exception, but this issue got me thinking. If I have a user control throw an exception for whatever reason and I wish to replace that usercontrol with something else (e.g. an error saying, "Sorry, this part of the page broke.") and perhaps log the error, what would be a good way to do it that could be done independently of what the user control is or does (i.e. I'm not saying what the user control does/is, because I want an answer where that is irrelevant).     We got a supermicro server, http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1u/5016/sys-5016i-ur.cfm, according spec, the server supports up to 32G memory when using ECC Register Memory.     Please help I installed Ubuntu11.10 32bit in an IBMTP41 notebook, that is NOT connected to the internet, tried running video files such as .mp4,.flv,.avi,.Xvid, in Movie Player but it asks for plugins, see the list below mp4: MPEG-4 AAC decoder; H.264 decoder flv: SorensonSpark Video decoder; MPEG-1 Layer3(MP3) decoder avi: MPEG-1 Layer3 (MP3) decoder; MPEG video decoder XviD: AC-3 (ATSC A/52) decoder; XviD MPEG-4 decoder how do i donwload (from another computer with internet) and install all these plugins and their dependencies. I also want to install the VLC Media player and its dependencies I assume this is related to the restricted codecs and I have tried donwnload/install them with no success.     I had installed ubuntu 12.04 using wubi. But each time i boot the system an internal error message pops up. As show below:- Executable path /usr/share/apport/apport-gpu-error-intel.py Package xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4 Problem Type crash Apportversion 2.0.1-0ubuntu7 and so on.. I had earlier upgraded to ubuntu 12.04 from ubuntu 11.10. And encountered the same issue. Hence i uninstalled the OS and reinstalled using wubi. I had posted the same query in ubuntu.com/support (Question Number: 195525) But couldnt find a solution. I am using dell inspiron with intel pentium. For a start: Haxe // uses Boehm GC Haskell (JHC) Haskell (old GHC) // -fvia-c, removed recently (emitted code is super ugly) Clay ATS Cython RPython (Shed Skin) // experimental RPython (PyPy) Python (Nuitka) // although author claims there are no speedups Common Lisp (ECL) COBOL (OpenCobol) Scheme (Chicken) APL // So far I've not found working implementation available for free download Ur/Web // GCC-specific output, and intended to be used only for web developments (included for completeness only) I'd like to build comprehensive up-to-date list but found only these ones so far. I've tested only Haxe and it works pretty well and quite fast. What about other ones? What is your expirience? How much ugly is generated code? Update. Any language chains (e.g. X - Scheme - C) will be perfectly OK as answer if its use is practical enough and suited for production use.
