How can I prevent Visual Studio from naming the classes for new pages that are in folders from being named with the folder name? Does this method not set "right" with anyone else?
AFAIK, we can have two static variables with the same name in different functions? How are these managed by the compiler and symbol table? How are their identities managed seperately?
Is it possible to do this:
myfile.js:
function foo() {
alert(<my-function-name>);
// pops-up "foo"
// or even better: "myfile.js : foo"
}
I've got the dojo and jquery frameworks in my stack, so if either of those make it easier, they're available.
[HttpGet]

How do I find the name of the namespace or module 'Foo' in the filter below?

@module_name = ???

end
class Foo::BarController < ApplicationController
before_filter :get_module_name
end
Let say we have a class and a memberfunc.
An object is created for this class, say ObjA.
ObjA calls memberfunc.
Can we get this name 'objA' inside memberfunc programatically?
I have a method which has domain name as a String parameter.

Please guide me!
So if a have this property:
@property (nonatomic, retain) MKReverseGeocoder *reverseGeocoder;
and i want to set it, does the case always change:
[self setReverseGeocoder: ...
Seems a bit weird to get used to! I mean the property name is lower case!
I used shared object to drawing line. But some times syncevt.changeList[cl].name is "clear" insted of "success". and value of setproperty become undefined.
Have any solution for this porblem

I have a script that I'm running from the home directory to search for all files called "script.sh" that contain the string "watermelon". It's not finding anything but I can clearly see these scripts in the subdirectories. Could someone please suggest a change to the command I'm using:
find . -name script.sh | grep watermelon
I'm looking for a way of mapping a uid (unique number representing a system user) to a user name using Perl.
Please don't suggest greping /etc/passwd :)
Edit
As a clarification, I wasn't looking for a solution that involved reading /etc/passwd explicitly. I realize that under the hood any solution would end up doing this, but I was searching for a library function to do it for me.
players = {}
function newPlayer(name)
players[name]={x = 200, y = 100} --assign each player their x and y coordinates, which is x: 200 and y: 100
end
function checkPosition(name?) -- Do i need a parameter?
if players[name].x == 200 and players[name].y == 100 then --says players[name].x is a nil value
print("good")
else
print("bad")
end
end
Error: attempt to index ? (a nil value)
Current Situation: The code above says players[name].x is a nil value, I would like to know why since i thought i assigned it in the function newPlayer.

I'm trying to read property name but I'm not shore how.
Is it possible in ObjC to get string "theProperty" from self.theProperty?
I know how to read all properties (with "class_copyPropertyList") and their names (with "property_getName") but couldn't find a way to do something like:
NSString *text = [self.theProperty somehowReadThePropertyName];
// expected result is: text == @"theProperty"
Any ideas?
Hi.
I have a process where one of the things to do is to capture the output from a print into a file for further processing. For this I have configured a "FILE:" printer port which works very nicely but asks everytime for the file name to use.
Unfortunately "FILE" is not a very descriptive word when trying to use a search engine :(
Is there a small driver somewhere which does exactly the same as the FILE: driver, but can automatically generate a filename (perhaps based on a pattern) and just print to that?
What is the reason to use g:textField in Grails if you're already familiar with standard HTML form tags?
If I understand correctly the following two markup alternatives are equivalent:
<input type="text" name="name" value="${params.name}" id="name" />
<g:textField name="name" value="${params.name}" />
Are there any circumstances under which using g:textField would add value? Am I missing something?
