  • Problem with first Windows 7 gadget getting javascript to run

    For my first windows gadget I'm trying to make one that displays the current time and date. The code below is what I have, but I can't figure out why the javascript is not running.   • Floating DIV's alignment problem.

    I have a fluid layout with DIV's of different heights and widths, and I'd like them to be aligned by lines, kind of like when you do a search on istockphoto, except aligned to the top: image here--http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb121/jpbanks/Capturadepantalla2010-06-02alas1902.png I tried floating all the DIV's to the left, but they are not aligned correctly into lines: image here--http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb121/jpbanks/Capturadepantalla2010-06-02alas1900.png See how "Prueba" doesn't go all the way to the left? I thought of the jQuery plugin Masonry but what I want is obviously different. Any solution using either CSS or jQuery would be fine. Any ideas?

    Hello, assume I have a such html order <div id="header">>Header(logo, navigation menus etc)will be here, fixed height </div> <div id="content"> Dynamic content with different length will be here. </div> <div id="footer"> Footer of the page here, fixed height </div> Now as you can see, it is only the content div which will be changing in size as the length changes. I want to make sure the screen is used even if the height of the content is less than to fill the whole. (in other words minimum height of the content will be screen (height in pixel) - ( (height of header) + (height of footer) ) Now I can see that min-widht can be used but it is not supported with IE, how can I achieve this issue ?

  • mySQL auto increment problem: Duplicate entry '4294967295' for key 1

    I have a table of emails. The last record in there for an auto increment id is 3780, which is a legit record. Any new record I now insert is being inserted right there. However, in my logs I have the occasional: Query FAIL: INSERT INTO mail.messages (timestamp_queue) VALUES (:time); Array ( [0] => 23000 [1] => 1062 [2] => Duplicate entry '4294967295' for key 1 ) Somehow, the autoincrement jumped up to the INT max of 4294967295 Why on god's green earth would this get jumped up so high? I have no inserts with an id field. The show status for that table, Auto_increment table now reads: 4294967296 How could something like this occur? I realize the id field should perhaps be a big int, but the worry I have is that somehow this thing jumps back up. Josh

    I am using Spring for the first time and must be doing something wrong. I have a project with several Bean implementations and now I am trying to create a test class with Spring Test and JUnit. I am trying to use Spring Test to inject a customized bean into the test class.     When trying to add SharpSVN to my C# project, compiling with SharpSVN related calls gives me this error: FileLoadException was Unhandled Mixed mode assembly is built against version 'v2.0.50727' of the runtime and cannot be loaded in the 4.0 runtime without additional configuration information. What I did was add the References from the downloaded SharpSVN zip file and added the using SharpSvn; When I compile that it works fine, but when I add: string targetPath = "https://bobl/svn/ConsoleApplication1"; SvnTarget target; SvnTarget.TryParse(targetPath, out target); It breaks with that error. I've searched this error and have had no luck in finding a solution.

  • CSS background-images and Z-Index problem

    Hope someone has an easy answer on this. I have a header image which is just a 75px high gradient with a fade on the bottom. I have it set as the background image on my header and I want to throw in a left-sidebar on my page. There is a transparency on the header image and when I have my sidebar I can't get it to sit behind the header. You can see in this screenshot: link text The green sidebar won't "sit" behind the header. I have the header z-index set to 99 and the sidebar to 1. I tried the reverse to make sure I didn't mix up my numbers but that didn't work. Both are absolutely positioned. I'm attaching their CSS selectors in the hopes someone has an easy answer.     Hi, I've customised the asp.net login control and it seems to create new accounts fine, but if I duplicate the user id thats already registered or enter an email thats already used, the error messages arn't displaying. Its driving me crazy. The page just refreshes without showing an error.   • sIFR 3 HTML text does not display, .sIFR-alternate causing problem

    It seems my sIFR 3 text does not show HTML text if the Flash text is not displayed. Here's one of the pages in question: http://www.jeremyschultz.com/client/orchardplace/website/beta/volunteer/ One person has reported not seeing anything when viewing this page, and I can recreate it by removing the Flash text with Firebug. Testing with Firebug also suggests the .sIFR-alternate class is what's causing this: when I remove it, the text shows up, and it disappears again when I restore it. I copied the original CSS and also tried applying a few new CSS rules to .sIFR-alternate but nothing has solved it. What do you think? Jeremy [email protected]

  • Problem with "Hello, WebView" example

    Hi there, I'm new in android development and I am trying out the WebView example in the official android site. http://developer.android.com/guide/tutorials/views/hello-webview.html But I do everything they say...which is pretty simple: I create the project, edit the layout file, then i add the code, etc. No problems building...but when I launch the app in the simulator I just got a black screen. It is like if the Layout is empty...like if the WebView is not created. does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advanced
