  • What jquery rails 3 tutorial has worked well for you?

    Hi! I have looked at several tutorials involving rails 3 and jquery. The tutorial at http://www.blog.bridgeutopiaweb.com/post/how-to-use-jquery-for-rails-3/ looked promising. However, I get the errors of document.on is not a function and $("a[data-remote=true]").livequery is not a function I get the feeling that I should look at another tutorial or just use jquery raw and not install a ruby gem for jquery. Any advice? Thanks!

  • How to pass an integer to create new variable name?

    I have 50 svg animations named animation0, animation1, animation2 etc. and I want to load them when the integer 0 to 49 is passed to this function: function loadAnimation(value){ var whichswiffy = "animation" + value; var stage = new swiffy.Stage(document.getElementById('swiffycontainer'), whichswiffy); stage.start(); } It doesn't work at the moment, maybe it's passing 'whichswiffy' rather than 'animation10'? Any ideas?

  • Export to word from php doesn't seem to work for me...

    I exported data from php page to word document but the problem is the header is not available in all pages.... Header is present in the first page but not in the next pages of the word document..... The problem i am running into is that when i go to view the generated source (the transformed source) i can't see the DOCTYPE attribute of the html so i don't know if its being emitted properly. I have a few "roles" that I have access to through stored procedure calls I don't control, read-only, via a CRM I don't have direct access to. Unfortunately, I can't find the method AddRole, or even the class UserItem, by its present name. Does this functionality exist in Sitecore 6.2? If so, where is it?

    I am trying to pass a variable from one page, load another and enter that information. something Like this: When 127.0.0.1/test.html&ID=1234 location.href = "127.0.0.1/newpage.html" if (location.href == newpage.html){ var e = document.GetElementById("Loginbx"); e.Value = ID } I don't have access to modify 127.0.0.1/test.html nor newpage.html but would like to pass variables to them from another.     jQuery refuses to load my dynamic content in IE6. All in FireFox & Safari works fine. Only IE6 is being a pain. When I try the a html with <p>Hello World</p> that works. Properly.   • Is it possible to make JQuery keydown respond faster?

    I am writing a simple page with JQuery and HTML5 canvas tags where I move a shape on the canvas by pressing 'w' for up, 's' for down, 'a' for left, and 'd' for right. I have it all working, but I would like the shape to start moving at a constant speed upon striking a key. Right now there is some kind of hold period and then the movement starts. How can I get the movement to occur immediately?
