  Hi. I'm looking into sentence recognition to make a program that should play voice clips from the game Team Fortress 2. I have .wav files and text files containing the transcription for every sound. What I'd like to make is a system that makes two characters of the game talk to each other (trough playing sound clips), and each one recognises the sense of what the other is saying and tries to answer with another of the available sound clips (trying its best to fit the sense of what it's trying to say) Is that possible in any way?

• Lucene unexpectedly gives different results when operator of search words changes

  I am using Lucene with Java. In the index I have a single document with a single name:value-field text:alabama oklahoma When I search for +alabama -oklahoma it returns no results, as expected. However, when I search for -alabama +oklahoma it returns the single document as a match to the query. Has anyone else noticed this behaviour? Any ideas on why this happens?

  I know that comparing 2 files is a typical problem and there are many discussions on this problem. but I have a rather different problem while working with text files: I have two text files which may differ in number of lines. now I want to compare two files and find the lines which differ. after that I want to tag all the differencies in both of files. for example here are the content of my files: File1.txt: This is the first line.   I am trying to delete a file from SharePoint using the list web service which is failing with the following error. Error Code: 0x81020030 Message: Invalid file name Detail: The file name you specified could not be used. It may be the name of an existing file or directory, or you may not have permission to access the file. The update XML I sent through is: <Batch OnError="Continue" PreCalc="TRUE" ListVersion="0" ViewName="{8FE4E2C8-939E-4462-ABA2-D633EED7F76E}"><Method ID="1" Cmd="Delete"><Field Name="ID">84</Field><Field Name="FileRef">http://win-4h0xp59sn75:40414/Shared%20Documents/del.txt</Field></Method></Batch> The SharePoint server error logs indicate: ERROR: Failed to OpenThreadToken, LastError=1008 The file you are attempting to save or retrieve has been blocked from this Web site by the server administrators. Things I have tried I've tried the changes in #1372971 which has no helped. I have also tried the changes recommended on the Microsoft Social site, which has also not helped. I have confirmed that the txt file extension is not blocked as indicated here. In addition I can remove the file via the website, it is just on the web service that this fails. The permissions are correct (or rather not in play) as I am running as a SharePoint administrator, which is the same account that uploaded it via the copy web service.

When a link to a sitecore item is inserted, it is outputted as: http://domain/~/link.aspx?_id=8A035DC067A64E2CBBE2662F6DB53BC5&_z=z Rather than the actual resolved url: http://domain/path/to/page.aspx This article confirms that this should be resolved in the render pipeline: in Sitecore 6 it inserts a specially formatted link that contains the Guid of the item you want to link to, then when the item is rendered the special link is replaced with the actual link to the item The pipeline has the method ShortenLinks added in web.config <convertToRuntimeHtml> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.PrepareHtml, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.ShortenLinks, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.SetImageSizes, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.ConvertWebControls, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.FixBullets, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.FinalizeHtml, Sitecore.Kernel"/> </convertToRuntimeHtml> So I really can't see why links are still rendering in ID format rather than as full SEO-tastic urls. • How to parse nagios status.dat file?

  I'd like to parse status.dat file for nagios3 and output as xml with a python script. The xml part is the easy one but how do I go about parsing the file? Use multi line regex? It's possible the file will be large as many hosts and services are monitored, will loading the whole file in memory be wise? I only need to extract services that have critical state and host they belong to. Any help and pointing in the right direction will be highly appreciated. However, when you click on an item on this menu, it doesn't just scroll the div, it also scrolls the page to the div. How do I prevent this second from happening. That is, I just want the div to scroll without the page itself scrolling. • Android/Java -- Post simple text to Facebook wall?

  Hello all, I'm trying to integrate posting to one's wall from within my app. I already have an area where the user can save his/her username and password (encrypted). I would like my program to recall the saved username and password, pass that to Facebook for authentication, and then allow the app to post simple text (maybe a link too) to the user's wall. That said, I've read everything on the developer pages at Facebook (the api looks completely foreign to me... I've never don't any type of web app development before... just desktop apps), and experimented with the Java libraries here: http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/User:Java but to be honest, I don't understand any of the various implementations. Some claim to be simple to use, but apparently they are all way above my head. I've even tried messing with the official Facebook Android SDK, but that uses a webview interface, and I can't pass in the username and password for easy authentication. Plus, I'm still clueless as to how to post to the wall even after correct authentication. Please help. Thanks. Oh, btw I already have a Facebook API key and Application ID.

• Turning off auto indent when pasting text into vim

  Unfortunately, I am not an experienced vim user. But, I am making the effort to learn it. When I paste code into my document from the clipboard, I get extra spaces at the start of each new line: line line line I know you can turn off auto indent but mine doesn't seem to work because I have some other settings conflicting or something (which look pretty obvious in my .vimrc but don't seem to matter when I take them out). Can someone please show me the way to turn this off when I paste code but still have vim auto indent when I am writing code? • Adding WPF Text Writer Trace Listener in an Outlook Add In using wpf window/control

  I'm working on a outlook 2003 AddIn using VSTO SE.We have few customized windows developed in WPF. It looks there are few client machines have problem with WPF rendering due to which there could be an exception due to addin is getting disabled. I added a outlook.exe.config and added trace listeners for wpf Trace sources. I set it up according this link. The console trace listener is working fine for me. But I'm not able get the TextWriterTraceListener working with config <add name="textListener" type="System.Diagnostics.TextWriterTraceListener" initializeData="Trace.log" /> I tried giving absolute path for trace log file as "C:\Trace.log".The TextWriterTraceListener worked for a dummy wpf app with the same config. Am I missing anything here.
