• How to use Rx to asynchronously query Twitter search ?

  Hi, I'm thinking about using Rx (Reactive Framework) in order to asynchronously query Twitter search API on a given keyword. The sample app I'd like to build should be able to display new tweets in the console. Do you think it is possible to do that ? Would it be simpler than using standard programming techniques ?   What techniques / methods exist for getting sub-millisecond precision timing data in C or C++, and what precision and accuracy do they provide? I'm looking for methods that don't require additional hardware. The application involves waiting for approximately 50 microseconds +/- 1 microsecond while some external hardware collects data. EDIT: OS is Wndows, probably with VS2010. If I can get drivers and SDK's for the hardware on Linux, I can go there. Thanks.

• In Jeditable, how do I make it so that when I click the div to edit, the text box content has initial value that is processed?

  When the user clicks on the div, jeditable will make a text box. However, I want the initial text to be done with function stripTags(), instead of what's on the page. The reason is that I'm using some URL techniques to turn plain text links into URLs.   this is a follow on from this question and the link given it seems that when an app is updated all of the files in the documents directory are copied into the updated apps documents directory and also anything in Library/Preferences. Whats the best way to simulate this for testing purposes? Just copy the files in ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator etc? or has anyone developped any funky techniques for testing this.
