  • Jumping over a While loop in Debug mode

    Here is the scenario: I put a break point at the beginning of a method that I want to debug... at first lets say there is Part1 in this method that I want to step into/over some of the codes... good... after that there is a While loop that I am NOT interested to step into/over it, I just want to tell the debugger that Hey you yourself run this loop for 10 times and just let me move to Part2 of my code which starts after this While loop , is it possible to do this with debugging options? so something like this : BreakPoint : MyMethod { Part One of the code : Ok, lets debug it While Loop : I do not care, Do not want to debug it Part Two of the code: Yes, I want to debug it too }

  • mySQL JOIN wont return results with 0 count

    SELECT categories.*, COUNT(categoryID) AS kritCount FROM categories AS categories LEFT JOIN krits ON categories.id = categoryID WHERE (krits.approved = '1') GROUP BY categories.id So this works great except that it does not return a category that has a 0 count of krits in the category. It will if I remove the WHERE statement but I need the WHERE to only select the krits where the field approved = 1

    Looking for a way to rename files that are uploaded by users through a filefield. For example, rename user profile photos using uniqid. I found a good solution for D6 here: http://www.wesjones.net/home/2011/03/drupal-6-how-to-change-filename-on-upload but can't find anything for D7. Another option is to use File (Field) Paths, but (1) the module causes warnings on my setup and (2) seems to be a bit of an overkill to install a general module for a very specific purpose.

Here comes the question : How to copy the "native/" directory (and its sub-directories) in first module to WEB-INF/native directory in the second module ?     I'm trying to pass in both the field and the value in a find call: @employee = Employee.find(:all, :conditions => [ '? = ?', params[:key], params[:value].to_i) The output is SELECT * FROM `employees` WHERE ('is_manager' = 1) Which returns no results, however when I try this directly in mysqsl using the same call without the '' around is_manager, it works fine.     Hi all, I got a simple input text field in a HTML form: <input type="text" name="data[User][pswd]" id="data[User][pswd]"> The scripts for the Controller's action that captured the data is as follows: function register(){ $temp = $this->data; if(strlen($temp['User']['pswd'])>6) { if ($this->User->save($this->data)) { $this->Session->setFlash('Data was Saved'); } } } // this script works And in the Model controller, I got these lines of codes: function beforeSave() { $raw = $this->data; if(strlen($raw['User']['pswd'])>6){ md5($raw['User']['pswd']); } return true; } // this script failed to work The data was stored into the Database successfully but it was not undergone any MD5 encryption. I think that there must be some errors in the Model's script because I saw some errors flashed after the data was saved, but the screen that showed the errors immediately refreshed in a second after the data was saved successfully and I couldn't see the detail of the errors that caused the problem. Could you help me out please?

    Hi, I have 54 excel files with three sheets each, each sheet has a different amount of data entries but they are set out in a identical format, and I need to import the data from those sheets into a single workbook using VBA. Is there any way I can program it so I can build the loops to import the data, but without having to write in each workbook name for each loop/sheet? I think I can use the call function, but I don't know how to make the loop codes independent of the workbook name they apply to. Thank you so much in advance, Millie

  • delphi finalizalization code in a DLL

    I am moving some functions to a shared DLL (I want to have some called as a Windows hook). The actual functions are currently in a unit, and it happens to have some initialization and some finalization code. I was initially thinking on doing a direct transformation from a unit to a library. So I moved the initialization code in between the main begin and end.. But then I realized I had no place to move the finalization code. I should create and register an special DLL entry point, instead. My question is. Can I leave the unit with all the functions and the initialization and finalization codes and just create a library stub that uses the unit? will the finalizationit be called?
