  • What's a good library for parsing mathematical expressions in java?

    I'm an Android Developer and as part of my next app I will need to evaluate a large variety of user created mathematical expressions and equations. I am looking for a good java library that is lightweight and can evaluate mathematical expressions using user defined variables and constants, trig and exponential functions, etc. I've looked around and Jep seems to be popular, but I would like to hear more suggestions, especially from people who have used these libraries before.

    I'm considering writing a console application in C# and I want to incorporate history, completion and command line editing features something like GNU readline (but not necessarily as extensive as that!) Is there an existing library for .net which provides this type of functionality? I guess one option would be to use interop services to call GNU readline. But is there a native option? Paul.

    So an InfoPath form is deployed to a SharePoint server. It gets deployed through central admin and then activated to a particular site collection. This site collection has a forms library with the appropriate content type for the activated InfoPath form. Using the object model, how can I retrieve the form template back out of SharePoint programmatically. I know the url to the web, name of the list and the name of the form itself.

  • Using Castle DynamicProxy is it possible to change the invocation target on class proxy?

    Hi Using Castle DynamicProxy v2, I'd like to change the target of an invocation for a class proxy. The new target is simply a different instance of the same type as the original target. The target types do not implement a common interface so I cannot use the IProxyTargetAccessor as detailed in Krzysztof's post on the subject - I cannot cast from a class proxy invocator to a IProxyTargetAccessor. Is there a way to do this?

I need to expose a database from a Java Server but i only see Microsot providing clients for java not server parts. How is that an open standard when you need .NET/Windows to expose it?     Hi, I am doing a lot of image processing in C and I need a good, reasonably lightweight, and above all FAST matrix manipulation library. I am mostly focussing on affine transformations and matrix inversions, so i do not need anything too sophisticated or bloated. Primarily I would like something that is very fast (using SSE perhaps?), with a clean API and (hopefully) prepackaged by many of the unix package management systems. Note this is for C not for C++.     Ok, I've got this singleton-like web class which uses session to maintain state. I initially thought I was going to have to manipulate the session variables on each "set" so that the new values were updated in the session. However I tried using it as-is, and somehow, it remembers state. For example, if run this code on one page: UserContext.Current.User.FirstName = "Micah"; And run this code in a different browser tab, FirstName is displayed correctly: Response.Write(UserContext.Current.User.FirstName); Can someone tell me (prove) how this data is getting persisted in the session?     I have a few scatter elements which I am grouping together using a class like so - . In my code behind, using C# I want to hide these elements, using something like instructions.Visible = false;. However I realize I can only do this in codebehind if I use ID but this will result in invalid HTML/CSS Selector since you can't have multiple ID's with the same ID name... Alternatively is there another way to group the controls if not by class?

I've installed SOAPlib and I've tried to read their Client documentation, but I don't understand it too well.
