  • How can I tell that ILMerge has been used

    - by viggity
I'd like to be able to tell whether or not an assembly is the output/result from using ILMerge on two different assemblies. It doesn't matter how nitty gritty it is, if I have to parse IL, I'm willing to do it. Is there anything that would be indicate that the assembly author used ILMerge?

  • heroku time zone problem, logging local server time

    - by Ole Morten Amundsen
UPDATE: Ok, I didn't formulate a good Q to be answered. I still struggle with heroku being on -07:00 UTC and I at +02:200 UTC. Q: How do I get the log written in the correct Time.zone ? The 9 hours difference, heroku (us west) - norway, is distracting to work with. I get this in my production.log (using heroku logs): Processing ProductionController#create to xml (for 81.26.51.35 at 2010-04-28 23:00:12) [POST] How do I get it to write 2010-04-29 08:00:12 +02:00 GMT ? Note that I'm running at heroku and cannot set the server time myself, as one could do at your amazon EC2 servers. Below is my previous question, I'll leave it be as it holds some interesting information about time and zones. Why does Time.now yield the server local time when I have set the another time zone in my environment.rb config.time_zone = 'Copenhagen' I've put this in a view <p> Time.zone <%= Time.zone %> </p> <p> Time.now <%= Time.now %> </p> <p> Time.now.utc <%= Time.now.utc %> </p> <p> Time.zone.now <%= Time.zone.now %> </p> <p> Time.zone.today <%= Time.zone.today %> </p> rendering this result on my app at heroku Time.zone (GMT+01:00) Copenhagen Time.now Mon Apr 26 08:28:21 -0700 2010 Time.now.utc Mon Apr 26 15:28:21 UTC 2010 Time.zone.now 2010-04-26 17:28:21 +0200 Time.zone.today 2010-04-26 Time.zone.now yields the correct result. Do I have to switch from Time.now to Time.zone.now, everywhere? Seems cumbersome. I truly don't care what the local time of the server is, it's giving me loads of trouble due to extensive use of Time.now. Am I misunderstanding anything fundamental here?

  • How to determine if scrolling a UITableView was done by tapping the index?

    - by John Michael Zorko
Hello, all ... I want to determine when the index (transparent alphabet) along the side of a UITableView is tapped. To be more specific, I have a sectioned UITableView that has an index, and said index does the right thing, but when the UITableView's -scrollViewDidScroll method is called, I want to be able to determine if said scrolling was the result of the user tapping the index, vs. dragging or swiping the table view itself. If anyone has ideas on how to do this, i'd love to hear about them :-) Regards, John

  • Which credentials should I put in for Google App Engine BulkLoader at development server?

    - by Hoang Pham
Hello everyone, I would like to ask which kind of credentials do I need to put on for importing data using the Google App Engine BulkLoader class appcfg.py upload_data --config_file=models.py --filename=listcountries.csv --kind=CMSCountry --url=http://localhost:8178/remote_api vit/ And then it asks me for credentials: Please enter login credentials for localhost Here is an extraction of the content of the models.py, I use this listcountries.csv file class CMSCountry(db.Model): sortorder = db.StringProperty() name = db.StringProperty(required=True) formalname = db.StringProperty() type = db.StringProperty() subtype = db.StringProperty() sovereignt = db.StringProperty() capital = db.StringProperty() currencycode = db.StringProperty() currencyname = db.StringProperty() telephonecode = db.StringProperty() lettercode = db.StringProperty() lettercode2 = db.StringProperty() number = db.StringProperty() countrycode = db.StringProperty() class CMSCountryLoader(bulkloader.Loader): def __init__(self): bulkloader.Loader.__init__(self, 'CMSCountry', [('sortorder', str), ('name', str), ('formalname', str), ('type', str), ('subtype', str), ('sovereignt', str), ('capital', str), ('currencycode', str), ('currencyname', str), ('telephonecode', str), ('lettercode', str), ('lettercode2', str), ('number', str), ('countrycode', str) ]) loaders = [CMSCountryLoader] Every tries to enter the email and password result in "Authentication Failed", so I could not import the data to the development server. I don't think that I have any problem with my files neither my models because I have successfully uploaded the data to the appspot.com application. So what should I put in for localhost credentials? I also tried to use Eclipse with Pydev but I still got the same message :( Here is the output: Uploading data records. • what does macosx-version-min imply?

    - by Quincy
When I pass compiler flag "-mmacosx-version-min=10.5", what does it mean? I think it implies the result binary is x86, not ppc, but is it 32 bits or 64 bits? I'm compiling on snow leopard, so default output binary is 64 bits. I'm not passing -universal, it's not 32bit-64bit universal binary, I think.

  • SVN merge loses files and code

    - by SyBer
Hi. I'm trying to merge trunk change-set into a branch, but have found out a lot of post-merge issues, including whole files that disappeared, and missing code blocks I'm using SVN 1.6 for both clients and server. Tried this with multiple clients - Eclipse, Netbeans and SVN - the result is the same. Can someone advice how sort it out, and most important, prevent code loss? Thanks in advance!

  • remote desktop client with panning of large desktops?

    - by mikewse
When using the standard Windows remote desktop client to connect to a large remote desktop, the result is usually that the remote desktop is resized to a smaller size matching the local display. Are there any RDP clients that instead leave the remote desktop at its original size and pan this larger area when the mouse reaches the border edges of the local display? Thanks Mike

  • Testing a Doctrine2 Entity with assertEquals results in fatal out-of-memory error

    - by Matt
I have a PHPUnit test that's using a Doctrine2 custom repository and Doctrine Fixtures. I wanted to test that a query gave me back an expected entity from my fixture. But when I try $this->assertEquals($expectedEntity, $result);, I get Fatal error: out of memory. I'm guessing it is recursing into all the relations and the entity manager and whatnot. Is there a good way to test this equality? Should I just assertEquals on the IDs of the entities?

  • Duplicate System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger Controls keep getting inserted automatically, causing P

    - by Albert
I have an update panel with a number of [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and everything was working fine. But now, something keeps inserting duplicate AsyncTriggers, and instead of simply being [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls they're [System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and I get parser errors as a result. So I delete the duplicate triggers, and they get re-inserted within a few minutes, seemingly randomly. Anyone know whats going on here?
