  • PfSense: dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available

    Pfsense 2.0.1-RELEASE (i386) I get a lot of entries in the log saying: dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available There are aprox 40 active users and they complain about prolonged times for getting an IP and periodically about problems accessing the internet, prolonged response times etc. In the log there is this entry repeatedly (periodically): Jun 10 18:27:30 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 18:40:53 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 19:01:15 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 19:10:47 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 19:31:10 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 19:53:51 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 20:23:32 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 21:01:42 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 21:04:52 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 21:23:29 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 21:46:05 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 22:02:17 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 22:02:45 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 22:06:21 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 22:08:45 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 22:09:19 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available Jun 10 22:22:23 dhcpd: send_packet: No buffer space available I guess it is the same periods that the users complain about reduced access to the internet. I have seen other threads about it. But none related to pfsense. Any ideas of what to do?

  • attach / detach mssql 2008 sql server manager [SOLVED]

    An external consult wrote a guide on how to copy a database. Step two was detach the database using Sql Server Manager. After the detach the database was not visible in the SQL Server Manager... Not much to do but write a mail to the service provider asking to have the database attached again. The service porviders answer: Not posisble to attach again since the SQL Server security has been violated". Rolling back to last backup is not the option I want to use. Can any one give feedback if this seems logic and reasonable to assume that a detached database in a SQL Server 2008 accessed through SQL Server Manager cannot be reattached. It was done by rightclicking the database and choosing detach. -- update -- Based on the comments below I update the question with the server setup. There are two dedicated servers: srv1: Web server with remote desktop and an Sql Server Manager srv2: Sql server that can be accessed through the Sql Server Manager on the web server -- update2 -- After a restart of the server the DBA could suddenly do the attachment of the database. And I guess that after the restart it was a simple task. So all of your answer were rigth! It seems that I can only mark one as a correct answer so I marked the first answer correct. But all are correct answer. Thanks a lot. Without posting the link to this thread then we might had so suffer while watching our database beeing restored by a backup :-) Thanks a lot. BR. Anders

    I have this problem: arp table filling up But I am quite sure that I cannot blame Kaspersky. Scenarie: a user plugs his computer in. He waits and waits but are getting no IP by DHCP. Then he is told there is an IP conflict... Several users descripe the exact same problem. It started after removing some filters in the switches, så all users are on a LAN and can see each other. Before, when filters blocked access to each others comptuers no one reported this kind of behavior. Any idéeas?

    Any idea why grapgh is a shown? It i two pfsense boxes and I have not looked into where they ping to and if it is related to the server they ping. Trafic graphs are following a normal 24 hour cycle and not related to either of the latency graphs Img1: High frequent ulteration in latency. Just started a few days back. Peaks are not perfectly regular but varies from 40min to 1hour Img2: This is a different router on another internet connection. Most of our routers shown this kind of latency graphs - so for our setup it is "normal". Please note that second graph is for a whole week and not just some hours

    Hi I have done a bit of searching for a solution to wrap text around an image and came across the JQSlickWrap. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2457266/jquery-plugin-to-wrap-text-around-images-support-ie6 But it is not working in IE. Is there another way to wrap text around an image? Or is that just not possible for IE yet?... Great wrap example in firefox but not so great in IE: http://jwf.us/projects/jQSlickWrap/example1.html There is this manuel way to create div's but in my case that is a no-go since it is multible images uploaded by a webmaster.     Hi I try to make a page to go to the startpage after eg. 10sec of inactivity (user not clicking anywhere). I use jQuery for the rest but the set/clear in my test function are pure javascript. In my frustation I ended up with something like this function that I hoped I could call on any click on the page. The timer starts fine, but is not reset on a click. If the function is called 5 times within the first 10 seconds, then 5 alerts will apear... no clearTimeout... function endAndStartTimer() { window.clearTimeout(timer); var timer; //var millisecBeforeRedirect = 10000; timer = window.setTimeout(function(){alert('Hello!');},10000); } Any one got some lines of code that will do the trick? - on any click stop, reset and start the timer. - When timer hits eg. 10sec do something. So a select on this single field from to rows will output 3 lines for first row and 2 lines for second row: Row1 designationer nye kolonier mindre byer Row2 udsteder bopladser I would like to do a select that select all these lines as if they had been rows in the table like: SELECT do_the_split(field) FROM table so the result would be more like: Row1 designationer Row2 nye kolonier Row3 mindre byer Row4 udsteder Row5 bopladser is there any way to do this in MySQL?     Just ran into a problem I know these integers, $integers: 3,5,15,20 I only want to select the rows from this following table where all comma separated INT's from the field NUMBERS are found. TABLE: number_table Uid Numbers ------------------------ 1 3,5,15 OK, since all of NUMBERS are in $integers 2 5,15,20 OK, since all of NUMBERS are in $integers 3 3,4,5,15 NOT OK, since 4 is not found in $integers 4 2,15,20,25 NOT OK, since 2 and 25 is not found in $integers Is it possible to to a "for-each" on a comma separated string or another way to do this SELECT?

    Hi I have read quite a few selcet+update questions in here but cannot understand how to do it. So will have to ask from the beginning. I would like to update a table based on data in another table. Setup is like this: - TABLE a ( int ; string ) ID WORD 1 banana 2 orange 3 apple - TABLE b ( "comma separated" string ; string ) WORDS TEXTAREA 0 banana -> 0,1 0 orange apple apple -> BEST:0,2,3 ELSE 0,2,3,3 0 banana orange apple -> 0,1,2,3 Now I would like to for each word in TABLE a append ",a.ID" to b.WORDS like: SELECT id, word FROM a (for each) -> UPDATE b SET words = CONCAT(words, ',', a.id) WHERE b.textarea like %a.word% Or even better: replace the word found in b.textarea with ",a.id" so it is the b.textarea that ends up beeing a comma separeted string of id's... But I do not know if that is possible.
