    Hi there, I need to make a program that writes some data to an excel spreadsheet. Something basic along the lines of First name, last name, phone number, e-mail per row with each category in its own column. I don't even know where to start. If someone could tell me which assemblies to reference and maybe point me to a website or a book that covers writing/reading data from an excel spreadsheet via a c# program that would be great.     I have a click once application here that needs to be started offline exclusively sometimes. Reason is that it needs to be started VERY early during boot, at a point when there is no network connection yet, also it must not wait for any network connectivity. I know, this requirement seems strange, but it has legacy reasons. What do you think?

    I want to create a link like the following: http://www.myurl.com/?IDHERE What i want to be able to do is be able to goto the above link, and then pull whats after the ?     I'd like a timer class that allows me to call: .start()   .getElapsedTime()   .stop()   .reset() Does Java have such a class, or do I need to use my own (which I've already written). From a best-practice point of view, I should use the Java class libraries classes if they exist, but I'm not sure whether this one does.     Is it faster to do the following: if ($var != 'test1' && $var != 'test2' && $var != 'test3' && $var != 'test4') { ... } Or: if (!in_array($var, array('test1', 'test2', 'test3', 'test4') { ... } Is there a number of values at which point it's faster to do one or the other? (In this case, the array used in the second option doesn't alreay exist.)
