Let's say I have an user table in declarative mode: class User(Base): __tablename__ = 'user' id = Column(u'id', Integer(), primary_key=True) name = Column(u'name', String(50)) When I have a list of users identifiers, I fetch them from db with: user_ids = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] users = Session.query(User).filter(User.id.in_(user_ids)).all() I dislike using in_ because I think I learned it has bad performance on indexed fields (is that true/false?). Anyway, is there a better way doing that query? Thanks!

    I have to fetch all the files from a folder and i am using the function GetFiles() like string[] dirImages = Directory.GetFiles(strPathYearImages + intYear , "*.png"); where strPathYearImages="Images\Holiday\2010\" but when i write the whole path like string[] dirImages = Directory.GetFiles(@"E:\IWP\Images\Holiday\"+ intYear , "*.png"); i get the required result.     I was trying to fetch remote notification info when the app was not running,so I was told that I can get from : UILocalNotification *localNotification = [launchOptions objectForKey:UIApplicationLaunchOptionsRemoteNotificationKey] in method: - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions ,but still can't get info. Then I use alertView to show the info on iPhone(launch without Xcode),still can't get the info. Any other issue would cause this? Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Source: import urllib2, re req = urllib2.Request('http://boards.4chan.org/wg/') resp = urllib2.urlopen(req) html = resp.read() print re.findall("res/[0-9]+", html) #print re.findall("^res/[0-9]+$", html) The problem is that: print re.findall("res/[0-9]+", html) is giving duplicates. I can't use: print re.findall("^res/[0-9]+$", html) I have read python docs but they didn't help.

I am using Java, but i know I will have to fetch the number from the underlying OS, so this quastion applies to Linux and Windows operating systems and will have different answers for each of them, I assume. I need this information to profile the network load of an application which seems to send too many small packages by flushing the socket streams too often.
