If you are trying to run celeryd in Django like so: python manage.py celeryd You can receive the following error immediately after it has started: celery@eric-desktop-dev has started. • Error Converting PIL B&W images to Numpy Arrays

  I am getting weird errors when I try to convert a black and white PIL image to a numpy array. An example of the code I am working with is below. if image.mode != '1': image = image.convert('1') #convert to B&W data = np.array(image) #convert data to a numpy array n_lines = data.shape[0] #number of raster passes line_range = range(data.shape[1]) for l in range(n_lines): # process one horizontal line of the image line = data[l] for n in line_range: if line[n] == 1: write_line_to(xl, z+scale*n, speed) #conversion to other program code elif line[n] == 0: run_to(xl, z+scale*n) #conversion to other program code I have tried this using both array and asarray for the conversion, and gotten different errors. If I use array, then the data I get out is nothing like what I put in. It looks like several very shrunken partial images side by side, with the remainder of the image space filled in in black. If I use asarray, then the entirety of python crashes during the raster step (on a random line). If I work with a greyscale image ('L'), then neither of these errors occurs for either array or asarray. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Is there something odd about the way PIL encodes B&W images, or something special I need to pass numpy to make it convert properly?

  I am trying to use the MVVM pattern, and I am wondering where I place an ID value. Do I create a TextBlock that has its visibility property set to collapsed? Or is there a better place to store this kind of data? • Is there a way to trace through only project source in Delphi?

  I'm using Delphi 2010 and I'm wondering if there's a way to trace through code which is in the project without tracing through calls to included VCLs. For example - you put in a breakpoint and then use Shift+F7 to trace through line-by-line. Now you run into a call to some lengthy procedure in a VCL - in my case it's often a Measurement Studio or other component that draws the doodads for a bunch of I/O, OPC, or other bits. At any rate, what happens is that the debugger hops out of the active source file, opens the component source, and traces through that line by line. Often this is hundreds or thousands of lines of code I don't care about - I just want to have it execute and return to the next source line in MY project. Obviously you can do this by setting breakpoints around every instance of an external call, but often there are too many to make this practical - I'd be spending an hour setting a hundred breakpoints every time I wanted to step through a section of code. Is there a setting or a tool somewhere that can do this? Allow one to trace through code within the project while silently executing code which is external to the project? • Ctrl-Backspace Visual Studio 2010

  I recently upgraded to Visual Studio 2010 and found out that when i press Ctrl-Backspace on a empty line it will delete the line, which is what it did in 2008, but then it will also delete the last character on the line above. I have tried to see if there is any settings anywhere but i cant seem to find any. Does anyone know if you can change this or did they make it default in 2010 Im using C#, if that makes a difference.

• BugZilla XML RPC Interface

  I am attempting to setup BugZilla to receive but reports from another system using the XML-RPC interface. BugZilla works fine on its own with its own interface. When I attempt to test the XML-RPC functionality by accessing "xmlrpc.cgi" in my browser I get the error: The XML-RPC Interface feature is not available in this Bugzilla at C:\BugZilla\xmlrpc.cgi line 27 main::BEGIN(...) called at C:\BugZilla\xmlrpc.cgi line 29 eval {...} called at C:\BugZilla\xmlrpc.cgi line 29 Following this I install test-taint package from the default perl repository, this installs version 1.04. Re-running "xmlrpc.cgi" gives me an IIS error: 502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server. There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server. So I run the checksetup.pl which inform me that: Use of uninitialized value in open at C:/Perl/site/lib/Test/Taint.pm line 334, <DATA> line 558. Installing Test-Taint from CPAN is the same. I assume XML-RPC is relent on Test-Taint, but Test-Taint doesn't seem to run correctly. If I ignore this error and attempt to invoke "bz_webservice_demo.pl" to add an entry the script times out. How can I get the XML-RPC / Test-Taint function working ? • Run shell script using fabric and piping script text to shell's stdin

  Is there a way to execute a multi-line shell script by piping it to the remote shell's standard input in fabric? Or must I always write it to the remote filesystem, then run it, then delete it? I like sending to stdin as it avoids the temporary file. If there's no fabric API (and it seems like there is not based on my research), presumably I can just use the ssh module directly. Basically I wish fabric.api.run was not limited to a 1-line command that gets passed to the shell as a command line argument, but instead would take a full multi-line script and write it to the remote shell's standard input.

Ideally I would like the text to wrap with the second line starting beneath the first character of the first line. Any ideas on how? or would I have to make my own list based control for this?

• Creating and writing file from a FileOutputStream in Java

  Okay, so I'm working on a project where I use a Java program to initiate a socket connection between two classes (a FileSender and FileReceiver). Inside my FileReader is this though: input = recvSocket.accept(); BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(input.getInputStream())); FileOutputStream fOut= new FileOutputStream(filename); String line = br.readLine(); while(line != null){ fOut.write(line.getBytes()); fOut.flush(); line = br.readLine(); } System.out.println("Before RECV close statements"); fOut.close(); input.close(); recvSocket.close(); System.out.println("After RECV clsoe statements"); All inside a try-catch block. So, what I'm trying to do is have the FileSender reading in the file, converting to bytes, sending and flushing it out. FileReceiver, then reads in the bytes, writes to the fileOut, flushes, and continues waiting for more. I make sure to close all the things that I open, so... here comes the weird part. When I try and open the created text file in Eclipse, it tells me "An SWT error has occured ... recommended to exit the workbench... see .log for more details.". Another window pops up saying "Unhandled event loop exception, (no more handles)". However, if I try to open the sent text file in notepad2, I get ThisIsASentTextfile Which is good (well, minus the fact that there should be line breaks, but I'm working on that...). Does anyone know why this is happening? And while we're checking, how to add the line breaks? (And is this a particularly bad way to transfer files over java without getting some other libraries?)

• ASP.NET web setup class is not defined

  Hi, I've got an ASP.NET application that I installed by creating a web setup. I ran into a problem where ASP.NET wasn't registered with IIS so it gave me a "installation was interrupted" message that told me exactly nothing. Anyhow, I finally got it installed, and I can access the main page, but it's telling me that my class isn't defined. The dll is in the same directory as the Default.aspx page Here's the main error information Compiler Error Message: BC30002: Type 'SIValidator.SIValidator' is not defined. • In Javascript, is it true that function aliasing works as long as the function being aliased doesn't

  In Javascript, if we are aliasing a function, such as in: f = g; f = obj.display; obj.f = foo; all the 3 lines above, they will work as long as the function / method on the right hand side doesn't touch this? Since we are passing in all the arguments, the only way it can mess up is when the function / method on the right uses this? Actually, line 1 is probably ok if g is also a property of window? If g is referencing obj.display, then the same problem is there. In line 2, when obj.display touches this, it is to mean the obj, but when f() is invoked, the this is window, so they are different. In line 3, it is the same: when f() is invoked inside of obj's code, then the this is obj, while foo might be using this to refer to window if it were a property of window. (global function). So line 2 can be written as f = function() { obj.display.apply(obj, arguments) } and line 3: obj.f = function() { foo.apply(window, arguments) } Is this the correct method, and are there there other methods besides this?

  there is one think, i can't understand anyway:((( when i try to set cookie(it is on line 28 in login.php), browser returns me an error!!! Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampp2\htdocs\video\index.php:9) in C:\xampp2\htdocs\video\login.php on line 28 but on line 9 in index php, i haven't any header!!! there is a tag!!! i cant understand it!!! can somebody tall me why it returns me such error?

• Compiling and executing through commandLine shows NoClassDefFoundError when trying to find Java pack

  I have a client/server program that attempts to send and receive an object. There are three packages: server, client and shared shared contains only the Message class I put Message.java from shared package into the same folder as calcclient package source files and calcserver package source files. I compile using the line: javac -classpath .; Message.java They can compile. Then I change directory up one level and ran with: java -classpath .; .Main When I use Netbeans to run, the entire program works as per normal. But not if I run from command line. If its executed through command line, the program will work until it needs to use the Message object. Then it will show a NoClassDefFoundError Am I putting the right files at the right places? How do I get the program to find shared package through command line?

  I have an HSV color A at 3/10 of a line and HSV color B at 9/10 of a line. I'm making multistep gradients and for example if I wanted to find the color at 6/10ths of a line, how could I interpolate these HSV colors? I'm firmiliar with the technique for rgb but not HSV. I should also add that my HSV's are integers H(0,360) S(0,100) V(0,100). Thanks

• Fastcgi 500 error on preg_match_all in PHP

  Hi, I'm trying to set up some exotic PHP code (I'm no expert), and I get a FastCGI Error 500 on a PHP line containing 'preg_match_all'. When I comment out the line, the page is returned with a 200 (but not how it was meant to be). The code is parsing php, html and javascript content loaded from the database and is composing them to return the finished page. Now, by placing around some error_log entries I could determine that the line with the preg_match_all is the cause of the 500. However the line is hit multiple times during the loading of the page and on other occasions, the line does not cause an error. Here's how it looks like exactly: preg_match_all ("/(<([\w]+)[^>]*>)((?:.|\n)*)(<\/\\2>)/", $part['data'], $tags, PREG_PATTERN_ORDER|PREG_OFFSET_CAPTURE); The subject string is a piece of text that looks like: <script> ... some javascript functions ... </script> [Edit:] This is code that is up and running correctly elsewhere, so this very well could be a PHP setting or environment difference. I'm using PHP 5.2.13 on IIS6 with FastCGI. [Edit:] Nothing is mentioned in the log files. At least not in the ones I checked: IIS Logs Event Logs PHP Log Any thoughts or direction would be welcome.
