    Is there any function in pandas that can directly read a rotated csv file? To be specific, the header information in the first col instead of the first row. For example: A 1 2 B 3 5 C 6 7 and I would like the final DataFrame this way A B C 1 3 5 2 5 7 Of corse we can get around this problem using some data wangling techniques like transpose and slicing. I am wondering there should be a quick way in API but I could not find it.

  • Android TimePicker hour field disappears after orientation change

    I am using a TimePicker under API 1.5 and when the orientation is changed on my device (a stock G1 running 1.6 - though NOT on the 1.5/1.6 emulator), the hour field goes blank. It still remembers the hour, it just doesn't show it. Is there any workaround for this?     I have an application that is running on .net 3.5 SP1 and that is supposed to check if .net 4 is installed. Actually, I'm more interested if MSBuild v4 is installed, which would boil down to a simple File.Exists(@"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\msbuild.exe"); However, apart from the fragility of the 4.0.30319 Version (and the Windir, but that's easy to solve), I wonder if there is a more appropriate way, like an API?

How can I read the values written by Java program using c (or c++). Looks like API I should use is RegGetValue. Is this guaranteed to work on Windows XP 32 bit?   • How do I tell GWT to not compile a permutation for gears

    I have included gwt-html5-geolocation into my GWT project and was disappointed to find that it doubled up on my number of permutations compiled. Apparently if the browser does not support geolocation API then it falls back to use gears to find out your location. Is there a way to NOT compile a permutation for gears similar to the way you can tell GWT to only compile certain browser permutations? (the geolocation stuff is very much a nice-to-have and frankly if the client is running an old browser then I am happy not to get their location) Thanks

    I've read about this a lot and I just can't figure it out. It has nothing to do with MY code, it has to do with the feed or something because if I swap it with a Twitter feed it returns an Object object which is perfect. $.getJSON('http://rockbottom.nozzlmedia.com:8000/api/portland/?count=1&callback=?',function(json){ console.log(json) }); And i get an "invalid label" error. Any ideas?

The only thing I store are in the form partial.. The problem I'm running into is that when a validation error gets thrown, the page renders the new action (expected) but none of the non-column attributes within the Account Detail form will show? Any ideas as to how I can change this code around a bit to make this work me?? This same solution may be the help I need for the edit form, I have a getter for the data which it asks the API for, but without place a :value = "asdf" within each text box, it doesn't populate the fields either..
