• SSRS 2005: Filter Nested Table within a List

  In SQL Server Reporting Services 2005, how can I filter a nested table within a list? I have 2 datasets. The first, datasetHeader, contains one row per account. The second, datasetDetails contains multiple rows per account. Control: Dataset name List: datasetHeader Table: datasetDetails The table is placed within the list. When I attempt to filter on the table, I get fields from datasetHeader instead of datasetDetails. Previously I had the table within a subreport, and I had that working by using parameters; however, I needed to pull it into the main report because of the implied KeepTogether=true property for subreports that was causing undesired pagination.

• Tree View / File View Control for C#

  I have been looking for a C# tree control for displaying a file system that has the following capabilities: Select a starting directory. I don't always want to start at a "default" top directory level. The ability to grab an event when the user double clicks on a file in the tree. I want to handle opening the file within my application. I have been looking at this C# File Browser. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out how to do meet my second need. (If anybody can clear that up for me, I would like that even better.) Thanks for any help.

• Why is my movie clip instance null?

  I have 2 movie clips in my scene, one is charlie brown running and another is lucy lifting a football. The movie clip instances are aptly named: lucyLifting and charlieRunning. When I get to frame 75, I run the following code: stop(); trace(lucyLifting); trace(charlieRunning); lucyLifing.stop(); charlieRunning.stop(); and I get the following output: [object MovieClip] null Why isn't it recognizing my second movie clip instance? This is very frustrating.... Thank you in advance.

• How to detect changes to Address Book after ABPersonViewController presentation

  I have two view controllers that allow changes to the Address Book. The first one lets you add or create an entry based on an ABRedordRef or edit an existing ABRecordRef, by presentation of either ABUnknownPersonViewController or ABPersonViewController. The second one is a standard ABPeoplePickerNavigationController that allows you to view/edit any of the contents of the Address Book. Both views are accessible easily accessible to the use via the main application UITabBarController. How can I determine that changes were made by either view controller, so that I can force data dependency changes to a third separate view controller. I thought that I saw a notification center message that I could subscribe to, but I can't seem to find it again... I don't care if the notification center is the method that should be used, or a delegate protocol or... whatever, I don't care, I just need to know how to detect the change or the need to re-sync with the Address Book. Can someone Please point me in the right direction. Thank you.

• TFS Load Testing Web Tests

  I am configuring a load test and am curious/confused on settings. I am testing an intranet website, that is expected to have 6000 concurrent users. My employer had some previous consultant tell them that the load test users does not matter and that we need to worry about requests/second. They have previously determined that those 6000 users would generate 30 rps, while I feel that is not correct we need to show that we can exceed that number. The previous load test was set for only 200 users and the results showed that it did exceed the 200 rps. They were happy with the results, but that is not how I understand this. My question is, if we need to support 6000 concurrent users should I just set my users to 6000 and run, or is the rps an adequate piece of data to rely on? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have a app which shows load a flash movie in form, using this code axShockwaveFlash1 = new AxShockwaveFlashObjects.AxShockwaveFlash() axShockwaveFlash1.LoadMovie(0, Form1.currentGame); The problem is that when the Loadmovie method is called to load another flash file, without closing the form , the new flash is 'messed' up. to be more specific , it seems that the background and some controls of the previous flash still remain, 'spoiling' the new flash that is loaded. why? • Java: notify() vs. notifyAll() all over again

  If one google for "difference between notify() and notifyAll()" then a lot of explanations will pop up (leaving apart the javadoc paragraphs). It all boils down to the number of waiting threads being waken up: one in notify() and all in notifyAll(). However (if I do understand the difference between these methods right), only one thread is always selected for further monitor acquisition; in the first case the one selected by the VM, in the second case the one selected by the system thread scheduler. The exact selection procedures for both of them (in general case) are not known to the programmer. What's is the useful difference between notify() and notifyAll() then? Am I missing something?

  I have a quite complicated query which will by built up dynamically and is saved in a variable. As second part i have another normal query and i'd like to make an inner join between these both. To make it a little more easier here is a little example to illustrate my problem. For this little example i used the AdventureWorks database.   Hello, I'm trying to configure a Tomcat server with SSL. I've generated a keypair thus: $ keytool -genkeypair -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA -keystore keys Next I generate a certificate signing request: $ keytool -certreq -keyalg RSA -alias tomcat -keystore keys -file tomcat.csr Then I copy-paste the contents of tomcat.csr into a form on Thawte's website, asking for a trial SSL certificate. In return I get two certificates delimited with -----BEGIN ... -----END, that I save under tomcat.crt and thawte.crt. (Thawte calls the second certificate a 'Thawte Test CA Root' certificate). When I try to import either of them it fails: $ keytool -importcert -alias tomcat -file tomcat.crt -keystore keys Enter keystore password: keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Failed to establish chain from reply $ keytool -importcert -alias thawte -file thawtetest.crt -keystore keys Enter keystore password: keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Input not an X.509 certificate Adding the -trustcacerts option to either of these commands doesn't change anything either.   I'm trying to practice writing better code, so I wanted to validate my input sequence with regex to make sure that the first thing I get is a single letter A to H only, and the second is a number 1 to 12 only. I'm new to regex and not sure what the expression should look like. I'm also not sure what type of error R would throw if this is invalidated? • WPF Window Drag/Move Boundary

  Hi everyone, just curious if you know of any way to setup a drag boundary for a window? It would be nice to have these properties: Me.MinLeft = 10 Me.MinTop = 10 Me.MaxLeft = 150 Me.MaxTop = 150 Those are made up properties, btw, which would be nice to have. I know I could probably setup a timer to fire ever 10th of a second and check the left and top and then move it back if it's over. But it would be more elegant to have the window act like it hit a wall and can't go any farther, like moving to the edge of the screen or something similar. Edit: There seems to be some confusion somewhere, the point I'm trying to make is in the paragraph above, dragging, not re-sizing.

Do you know why this would be? Why won't netbeans deploy my application so I can run and test it?

  i' ve a problem in doing my final project... i'm having trouble with how to save multiple wav files into 1 wav file.. let's take an example: i have 3 wav files which are the syllables of the word "hospital" : "hos.wav", "pi.wav", and "tal.wav" (sorry if i'm wrong in determining the syllables of the words).. each of those syllable wav files contains utterances of the syllables of the word "hospital" respectively.. my task is to merge those files so that the word hospital could be reproduced from those files. and then to save the merged file to be a new wav file, let say "hospital.wav"..I've done my first task, but not with my second task... does anyone can help me? thx b4..

• Stop Duplicate Ajax Submisions?

  Hi I am wondering what is the best way to stop duplciate submissions when using jquery and ajax? I come up with 2 possible ways but not sure if these are the only 2. On Ajax start disable all buttons till request is done. 2 problems I see with this though is I use jquery model dialog so I don't know how easy it would be to disable those button as I not sure if they have id's. Second I if the the request hangs the user has really no way to try again since all the buttons are disabled. I am looking into something called AjaxQueue at this time I have no clue if it is what I need or how it works since the site where the plugin is apparently down for maintenance. http://docs.jquery.com/AjaxQueue

• Slow select when inserting large amounts of data (MYSQL)

  I have a process that imports a lot of data (950k rows) using inserts that insert 500 rows at a time. The process generally takes about 12 hours, which isn't too bad. Normally doing a query on the table is pretty quick (under 1 second) as I've put (what I think to be) the proper indexes in place. The problem I'm having is trying to run a query when the import process is running. It is making the query take almost 2 minutes! What can I do to make these two things not compete for resources (or whatever)? I've looked into "insert delayed" but not sure I want to change the table to MyISAM. Thanks for any help!

  Hi, I read the mysql table lengths questions on stackoverflow on here: questions/391323/table-comment-length-in-mysql questions/2473934/how-to-increase-mysql-table-comments-length The first link suggests that it can be done and the second suggests it cannot. I don't know why there is this limitation as the comments are very useful. Imagine if there was a limit of 60 characters for your programs. I wrote about this on my site and have some snapshots to the phpmyadmin and Dbforge MySQL IDEs: http://mysql.tutorialref.com/mysql-table-comment-length-limit.html Is there a way to change this in phpmyadmin or perhaps even on the CLI? There is a bug commit report from MySQL on this particular problem (follow the link from the stackoverflow (first link). It seems to state that the length problem is fixed. I have MySQL 5.1.42.
