  • Problem calling Java from PHP script

    I am working on windows. I am running PHP (5.1.3) scripts on Tomcat using PHP/Java bridge. Here is my simple code //test.php <?php require_once("java\Java.inc"); $systemInfo = new Java("Test"); print $systemInfo->foo(); ?> Test.class is in the same folder as test.php. But the php file is not able to locate the test class and I get the following error - Fatal error: Uncaught [[o:Exception]:"java.lang.Exception: CreateInstance failed: new Test. If I use a standard class like below. It works - <?php require_once("java\Java.inc"); $systemInfo = new Java("java.lang.System"); print "Total seconds since January 1, 1970: ".$systemInfo->currentTimeMillis(); ?> What should I do? 1)Should I copy my class to the standard location where all Java classes are kept.   • Hibernate Query Language Problem

    Well, I have implemented a distinct query in hibernate. It returns me result. But, while casting the fields are getting interchanged. So, it generates casting error. What should be the solution? As an example, I do have database, "ProjectAssignment" that has three fields, aid, pid & userName. I want all distinct userName data from this table. I have applied query : select distinct userName, aid, pid from ProjectAssignment Whereas the ProjectAssignment.java file has the fields in sequence aid, pid & userName. Now, here the userName is first field in output. So, Casting is not getting possible. Also, query : select aid, pid, distinct userName from ProjectAssignment is not working. What is the proper query for the same ? Or what else the solution ?   • Problem retrieving Hostaddress from Win32_TCPIPPrinterPort

    I'm running into an odd issue retrieving printer port addresses. When I get all the entries in Win32_TCPIPPrinterPort, the HostAddress field (which should have the IP address) is usually blank/null, only the port name has a value. To make it a bit stranger, if a particular port is not in use by any printer, THEN the HostAddress will have the the proper value. The C# code is simple, and results in something like this; IP_192.168.1.100, printerportxyz, richTextBox1.Clear(); ManagementObjectSearcher portSearcher = new ManagementObjectSearcher("root\\CIMV2", "SELECT * FROM Win32_TCPIPPrinterPort"); foreach (ManagementObject port in portSearcher.Get()) { richTextBox1.AppendText( String.Format("Name: {0} HostAddress: {1}", port["Name"], port["HostAddress"]) ); } I also tried the same thing in WSH/VBS, and saw the same behavior.

  • UIDatePicker - Problem Localizing

    Hello, I've created a UIDatePicker in my app and I also have support for several languages. My UIDatePicker is created in Interface Builder, and I have created a seperate localization XIB so I can customize my UIDatePicker. Setting the "Locale" option in IB appears to do nothing. Attempting to change my DatePicker programatically with Locale and NSCalender also do nothing via the following code: NSLocale * locale = [[NSLocale alloc] initWithLocaleIdentifier:@"es_ES"]; datePicker.locale = locale; datePicker.calender = [locale objectForKey:NSLocaleCalender]; This results in an english picker. Here's the really weird thing though. The word for "Today" is translated. As seen in the attached screenshot. (OK I'm not allowed to post images. But imagine a Date & Time picker with "May" in English and "Today" written "Ajourd'hui". Based on what I've read, adding the UIDatePicker programatically doesn't seem to help much.

    I have a WPF Application using Fluent NHibernate 1.0 RTM and System.Data.SQLite 1.0.65 that works fine in .Net 3.5. When I try to upgrade it to .Net 4.0 everything compiles but I get a runtime error where the innermost exception is this: `The IDbCommand and IDbConnection implementation in the assembly System.Data.SQLite could not be found.` The only change made to the project was switching the Target Framework to 4.0.

  • problem with Chrome form handling: input onfocus="this.select()"

    I'm using the following HTML code to autoselect some text in a form field when a user clicks on the field: input onfocus="this.select()" type="text" value="Search" This works fine in Firefox and Internet Explorer (the purpose being to use the default text to describe the field to the user, but highlight it so that on click they can just start typing), but I'm having trouble getting it to work in Chrome. When I click the form field in Chrome the text is highlighted for just a split second and then the cursor jumps to the end of the default text and the highlighting goes away. Any ideas on how to get this working in Chrome as well?

Now I'm trying inject this file location from spring inside bean from this class and I specify the init-method of this class. But I get error cannot find the specified file as if its not on a classpath but it is inside war file? I'm building the project with maven and I put file in src/main/resources This is the error I get when trying to read file : Error: src\main\resources\ids.txt (The system cannot find the path specified) That is when I tried this : FileInputStream fstream = new FileInputStream("src\\main\\resources\\ids.txt"); how to reference the properly from the classpath?   • Speed Problem with Wireless Connectivity on Cisco 877w

    Having a bit of a weird one with my local LAN setup. I recently installed a Cisco 877W router on my DSL2+ connection and all is working really well.. Upgraded the IOS to 12.4 and my wired clients are streaming connectivity superfast at 1.3mb/s. However, there seems to be an issue with my wireless clients - I can't seem to stream any data across the local wireless connection (LAN) and using the Internet, whilst responsive enough isn't really comparable with the wired connection speed.     What's the difference between the following two declarations? I thought they were equivalent, but the first sample works, and the second does not. I mean it compiles and runs, but the bitmap display code shows blank. I have not stepped through it yet, but am I missing something obvious? GUI_BITMAP is a simple structure describing a bitmap. This is for VC++ 2005, but I think it fails in VC++ 2008 also. Scratching my head on this one...     So I am trying to create a producer/consumer type scala app. The LoopControl just sends a message to the MessageReceiver continoually. The MessageReceiver then delegates work to the MessageCreatorActor (whose work is to check a map for an object, and if not found create one and start it up). Each MessageActor created by this MessageCreatorActor is associated with an Id. Eventually this is where I want to do business logic. But I run out of memory after 15 minutes.
