• TextMate: Highlight matching tags of caret location.

  Is it possible for TextMate to syntax highlight the opening and closing tags of your current caret location? And I am talking about constantly, not by pressing a key combo. Furthermore, if it possible, how can I do it? There doesn't seem to be any way that I know of except by using selectors in the theme, but I don't know if selectors can be context-sensitive.

  I'm looking for a solution to the following: Given today's date, figure out what month was before. So 2 should return for today, since it is currently March, the third month of the year. 12 should return for January. Then based on that, I need to be able to iterate through a directory and find all files that were created that month. Bonus points would include finding the most current file created for the previous month.

  In C++ on Windows, given a city, lets say london or newyork or sydney or singapore etc.. how do I find the UTC offset for each of them, ie the function should be able to accept a city name and return the UTC offset in the current scenario ie taking into account daylight savings.   Hi all, I have a solr instance containing documents which have a 'startTime' field ranging from last month to a year from now. I'd like to add a boost query/function to boost the scores of documents whose startTime field is close to the current time. So far I have seen a lot of examples which use rord to add boosts to documents whom are newer but I have never seen an example of something like this. Can anyone tell me how to do it please? Thanks

  Hello, I have a question related to VPATH. I'm playing around with make files and the VPATH variable. Basically, I'm grabbing source files from a few different places (specified by the VPATH), and trying to compile them into the another directory ( $CURDIR/OBJ/ ) using simply a list of .o-files that I want. Can I create .o's in any another directory other than current dir when using VPATH??

But what about when you change window.location in a client-side script? Does this immediately stop execution of the current script or is it up to the programmer to make sure that any code located after this call is not reached?

  I am using the sentient_user gem to have access to the current_user object in my application. I want to override the default ActiveRecordBase queries to scope them to the current user. For instance, I don't want my users looking at, deleting, modifying other user's orders.   I am loading a bunch of rows into MySql in C#. In MS Sql I can feed a DataReader to SqlBulkCopy, but the MySqlBulkCopy only presents itself as a bootstrap for a load from file. So, my current solution is using a prepared command in a transacted loop. Is there a faster way to accomplish bulk loading of MySql using a DataReader source?

  How convert a string into a ActiveSupport::TimeWithZone? My dilemma is this. I need to update a field (called updated_at). The field in mysql is datetime, and the class is ActiveSupport::TimeWithZone. But the dates are strings like "10/17/2008". I used "10/17/2008".to_date (And I intend .to_time and to_datetime), and even if in console the ActiveRecord class save succesfully, the field in the database still is the current date...   How do I get smarty syntax highlighting in Eclipse PDT? The only project I was able to find is SmartyPDT, but it's outdated and isn't working with my current Eclipse install (PDT All in one, with Eclipse 3.5). EDIT: I recently found this post asking the same question from a long time ago. But the plugin linked in the accepted answer there is out of date now.   Hi. We just upgraded to visual studio 2010 RC1 and all of a sudden our controls inside tabcontainer disappeared from the designer file. Actually, it all seemed good in the beginning, the project compiled nicely, but as soon as we did any change in the markup of a page and build the code for the controls inside the tabcontainer disappeared and we got errormessages like so "Error 3 The name 'ddlPeriodicityStartInMonth' does not exist in the current context " Does anyone know if any changes are made to tabcontainer to visual studio 2010 or if this just is a bug?
