    I am trying to capture the cpu usage from the running process. For SunOS, I have below output process,10050,user1,218,59,0,1271M,1260M,sleep,58.9H,0.02%,java here the cpu % is at 11th field if we separate by comma(,). To get this value I am using below regex regex => q/^process,(?:.*?),((?:\d+)\.(?:\d+))%,java$/, but for the linux system I have below output. process,26190,user1,20,0,1236m,43m,6436,S,0.0,1.1,0:00.00,java, here the cpu usage is at 10th column What regex pattern should i use to get this value. Appreciate for any suggestion.

    Hello, I am using an autocomplete widget, and would like a dialog to show when an item is selected. The dialog does show up, but I want a field in the dialog to receive focus when it opens.     Let's say I have a simple TextBox next to a Label: <StackPanel> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <Label Margin="3">MyLabel</Label> <TextBox Margin="3" Width="100">MyText</TextBox> </StackPanel> ... </StackPanel> This yields the following result: As you can see, the base lines of MyLabel and MyText are not aligned, which looks ugly. Of course, I could start playing around with the margins until they match up, but since this is such a common requirement I'm sure that WPF provides a much easier and more elegant solution, which I just haven't found yet...

    I'm creating a simple PHP page that reads CSV file content and display some selected columns to users in pages Currently, I'm reading each line and display it immediately. Because of this method, I only know total of lines after finishing reading entire file( searching in file also). What I want is displaying two page navigations on the top and bottom of the list. Like this: Page 1|2|3|4 Field 1|Field 2|Field 3|Field 4|Field 5....|Field n Row1 Row2 .... Rown Page 1|2|3|4 After displaying all rows, bottom page nav, I used jquery function: insertBefore to insert another page navi to the top. Problems are: 1) Top page nav not displayed in IE8 but displayed ater pressing F5(worked in FF, Chrome). 2) Using insertBefore function, the top page nav is suddenly poppep up afer displaying the bottom one. It doesn't look naturally Any suggestion?

    I'm trying to come up with a regex to be able to parse the following type of strings into groups. <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="[!PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot!]/feed.xml" /> My regular expression is: \[\!(.+)\!\] The problem with this expression is that it seems to pull it all into 1 group: Found 1 match: "[!PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot!]" has 1 group: 1. "PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot" I want dont want the regex to continue...am I missing a boundary? Ideally I want it to find 2 groups, [!PageTitle!] and [!SiteRoot!]

  • Fastest Method to Learn Web Design for a Developer

    I am a Web developer and in my projects I have noticed that my weakest point is not being good at the front-end design. Relying on other designers can be annoying if they are not able to produce as quickly as I want. My perspective on HTML/CSS is that it is basically a big hack that amazingly works. There are too many CSS and browser specific bugs/quirks to learn and remember them all without spending extreme amounts of time trying to untangle everything. Is there a fast track route to getting CSS into my brain? I have looked at some CSS books, but to me they really read as long lists of how to render things correctly in IE6 and how to make corners rounded. (Seriously why does it require so many tricks to make a sharp corner round? On any platform but the Web this would be called a major oversight.) Does there exist something that does the analogous to CSS that jQuery does for JavaScript? Using jQuery you don't need to know JavaScript well to make things that work. I am not interested in learning why IE6 does things in weird ways because I don't care about supporting it at all. I am more interested in a method of learning how to use CSS to do what I want without spending hours and hours reading obscure blogs.

  • calling a function or communicating from one browser window to another using Jquery / javascript

    Hello, I am designing a web site that plays music. The music player itself will be in a separate window along with the now playing list. I want to be able to refresh the now playing list when a new song is added to it from the main window. Essentially I need to figure out how to communicate between the two windows. I was only able to find one plugin on line that defines the player page as a child of the main page but then this reference would be lost after the parent page i.e my main page was refreshed. So this was not very useful to me and I'm kinda lost atm.   • CSS Menu disappear

    Hi, I created a menu in html/css but where I wanted the subitems to be shown on parent item hover. The problem is when I hover on it in IE it only shows it's subitems when I hover on the text in the menu item, If I hover over the element and not the text the subitems disappear again. So if I hover and want to move my mouse to my submenu the submenu disappears unless I'm fast enough. This is very annoying, does anyone know how I can solve this? However, no matter what values I enter in the fields; the result is always: array(2) { ["test"]=> string(0) "" ["action"]=> string(2) "Go" } string(16) "test=&action=Go&" Somehow, the array named test is emptied, the "action" variable does make it through. I've used the Live HTTP Headers extension for Firefox to check whether the POST fields get submitted, and they do. The relevant information from Live HTTP Headers (with a, b and c filled in as values in the textboxes): Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Content-Length: 51 test%5B1%5D=a&test%5B2%5D=b&test%5B3%5D=c&action=Go Does anybody have any idea as to why this is happening? I'm freaking out on this one, it has cost me so much time already...

  • Reversed Latitude/Longitude US Tiger/Line Shape File to MySQL w/ OGR2OGRP

    Hi - I've downloaded the latest set (2010) of TIGER edge shape files (ESRI shapefile format) from the US Census website and am loading them into MySQL using the GDAL ogr2ogr utility. A new table (geotest) does get created with a SHAPE column that has the geometry defined as a LINESTRING. However, I am seeing reversed latitude and longitude values that get reversed when running the following command: ogr2ogr -f "MySQL" MySQL:"geo,user=lejeuned,host=localhost,password=cnickl234" -nln geotest -nlt LINESTRING -append -a_srs "EPSG:4326" -lco engine=MYISAM tl_2010_01021_edges.shp Mapping the latitude/longitude (after reversing them of course) they appear to be spot on so I suspect there is just something I am doing wrong or flag I am missing which is causing the latitude and longitudes to be transposed. When I select the SHAPE column using astext() I get the following result: LINESTRING(-86.69863 32.973164,-86.69853 32.97302,-86.69856 32.97287,-86.698613 32.972825,-86.6988 32.972825,-86.6989 32.972892,-86.6989 32.973002,-86.69874 32.97316,-86.69864 32.97318,-86.69863 32.973164) Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Instead of having to highlight a query, is there a way I can run the single query my cursor is on, or run a query my cursor is on up to a the first ';'?

  • Link to RSS/Atom feed, relative, doesn't work in Firefox

    I have a weird problem. I generate a HTML page, hosted let's say at http://www.x.com/stuff which contains <head> <link type="application/atom+xml" rel="alternate" href="/stuff/feed"/> .. </head> The result is: In IE7 all works well - you can click on the feed icon in the browser and the feed is displayed In Firefox, view source, click on the linked /stuff/feed and you see the source of the feed, so that works as expected In Firefox, view the page (not source), then click on the feed icon in the address bar, I get an error that it can't retrieve the URL feed://http//www.x.com/stuff/feed So the problem is, that it's appending feed:// to the front of the URL and then taking out the colon : after the http. I understand that feed: is HTTP anyway so perhaps the adding of that isn't a big problem. But anyway, the fact is, that URL Firefox generates out of my <link> tag doesn't work. I have considered making the URL absolute, but I haven't found any evidence that those URLs have to be absolute, nor can I understand why that would be the case. And for various reasons it would be inconvenient in my code to generate an absolute URL. I can do it if necessary but I would prefer to see proof (e.g. specification, or Mozilla bug report) that it's necessary before making my code messy What do you think? Does anyone know of any evidence that the URL should be absolute? Or am I doing something else wrong? It seems such a simple/obvious tag, where nothing could go wrong, but I can't get it to work.
