  • How to log error queries in mysql?

    I know that there is general_log that logs all queries, but I want to find out which query has an error, and get the error message. I have tried running an error query on purpose, but it logs as a normal query and doesn't report it with error. Any ideas?

    We have just virtualised our web servers but are experiencing problems when trying to connect with the existing DB server. The error message that is being returned from the virtual machines is as follows: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process.     I'm trying to run the netdiag command to troubleshoot the internet connection but when I run it in cmd I get the following message: 'netdiag' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Also, I have tried typing "net diag", which gives me a syntax error, but that NET command seems to be something completely different. Searching on google for answers gives me results that deal with Windows Server 2003; I'm on a Windows XP machine.

  • Excel 2007 - "The Document Information Panel was unable to load"

    In Excel 2007, if I go to Office button - Prepare - Properties instead of showing document properties, I get a message "The Document Information Panel was unable to load." I have come across a number of posts suggesting I copy ipedintl.dll from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Web Designer Tools\Office12\1033 to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033, however I have tried this, and the problem is still occurring. Does anyone have any other ideas of what this might be? Thanks.

  • long access times and errors in iis application

    Hi, I am having an issue with an IIS application (details of environment at the end of the message). The web site works great most of the time and I cannot reproduce any error in our test system. On the live system however with on averare of 5-15 requests per second I have a problem with that some requests (about 0.05%) will take over 300 seconds to complete. The other requests complete withing 5-10 seconds. It seem like if all the errornous requests end up with a Timer_EntityBody error in the error log. I have never seen this as an end user but I guess that they will receive some kind of error message. I am trying to find out what can be causing this errornous behaviour. Any ideas are welcome. I have read something about that there can be an MTU issue if ICMP and MTU protocols are blocked in the firewall. Does that sound reasonable? I have also read about updating to IIS 7 should do the trick. Does it sound reasonable? I think that the problem has another cause but I have no idea of what. I have tried running hte perormance monitor, monitoring for database locks and active transaction counts. I can see some of these in the perfmon log for the MSSQL server (another machine) for example: Active transactions is sometimes peaking and sometimes for long periods Lock waits per seconds is sometimes peaking Transactions per second is sometimes peaking Page IO Latch wait is sometimes peaking Lock wait time (ms) is sometimes peaking But I cannot see that any of these correlate to the errors in the IIS error log. On the IIS server machine I can also see with perfmon that some values peak a few times during a day: Request execution time Avg disk queue length I can neither see that any of these correlate to the errors in the IIS error log. You should be able to create a TAP-Win32 adapter by going to Start - All Programs - Network Connector - Add a new TAP-Win32 virtual ethernet adapter.     I can not remove a trial version of MS Expression Blend 3 from my pc. I am always getting the same error: "Error writing to C:\Config.msi\6e6288.rbf." The name of the file varies. On the error message window there are two buttons: "Retry" and "Cancel", but clicking on any of them gives the same result - uninstall is cancelled and everything is rolling back. I tried to change access permissions to that folder in many ways, but result all the same.

    A friend of mine has purchased a new laptop (Toshiba) with Windows 7 installed and has also purchased Outlook 2007 and atttmped to install it - the install worked ok, but I think he may have selected Exchange server when installing the first time - now it will not start, displaying message like "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable " Outlook 2007 should have been configued for Pop3 as he has a hotmail account, but Outlook will not load "offline" and despite me de-installing, re-installing, running repair, I cannot get it to load to a point where I can add a new email account. If any one has any ideas on this, I would apprecaite the help Thanks, Bob
