I'm hoping someone can help me narrow down the field according to these priorities... Stability & Well-formed XHTML (might argue against some of the most recent unless they are revisions with a clear track-record) Inplace editing Good AJAX integration For internal / admin / CMS usage so it can be as bloated as it needs to be long as it's easy to implement the basics: bold ital indents lists No need for tables but dropdowns that show relevent CSS selectors would be nice. thnkx

  • Can we write an EOF character ourselves?

    Most of the languages like C++ when writing into a file, put an EOF character even if we miss to write statements like : filestream.close However is there any way, we can put the EOF character according to our requirement, in C++, for an instance. Additionally, I'm looking for an XPath solution that can work on that DOM (even if it requires writing my own XPath Navigator). XML parsing and serialization isn't necessary on the client - this can be done on the server.

I want to check that all externals are set to a specific version of the folder they are pointing to, I don't want to prevent commits to a tag with this script.   • Drupal and Back-End Complexity

    Currently I am working on a school website, and we are still in the decision-making process of choosing a framework (we know that we're not using Joomla! or hand-coding). Drupal came up as a viable choice, and currently, that is my best bet for the site. However, I have an issue with CMS's in general. I would like to develop a quite complicated and specifically custom-suited back-end application for teachers to interact with individual students, including the design of shared/custom calendars, announcement privileges, etc. I currently have a bit of expertise with HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and I could wrap my head around some JavaScript and AJAX stuff if need-be. However, would such a complicated application work with Drupal (in that I could create it to specifically suite my purposes)?

    I would like to display the contents of a DataTable, divided into several groups depending on the value of one of the columns. So, if I have a DataTable (from SQL query) with: GroupID Name Description 1 foo bar 1 one two 2 some thing I would like to place all records containing GroupID 1 in one div, all records with GroupID 2 in another div, and so on. How can I do this? I'm writing in ASP.NET 4.0, with C# codebehind.

  • Singleton design potential leak

    I have downloaded a library off of github and have noticed that in the main singleton of the library there is a possible leak in this bit of code: +(DDGameKitHelper*) sharedGameKitHelper { @synchronized(self) { if (instanceOfGameKitHelper == nil) { [[DDGameKitHelper alloc] init]; } return instanceOfGameKitHelper; } return nil; } Now obviously there is no release or autorelease anywhere so I must do it but how and in what way properly? I have looked at various Singleton design patterns on the Internet and they just assign, in this case, instanceOfGameKitHelper to the alloc and init line. Anyway how would I properly fix this?     I found this piece of code: char a = 1["ABC"]; A few quick test led me to the fact it was the same than writing: char a = "ABC"[1]; Which seems far more logical to me. So my questions: Why is this notation valid? Is there any reason to write something that way?

  • How do you take snapshots of an iPhone screen within a C# application?

    I would like to be able to take a snapshot of the screen of an attached iPhone from within a C# application I am writing for Windows, similar to how Xcode's Organizer takes snapshots. I have heard that you can use ITunesMobileDevice.dll to communicate with an attached iPhone, but I don't know how to take snapshots using this library. Does anyone have an idea how to do this?

  • Can't type anything in inputs or textareas

    Hello, I have a problem: I've add a Jquery UI drag-n-drop widget to my page, but after that I can't type anything into inputs or textareas. I use jQuery 1.4.2 and jQuery UI 1.8rc3, and tiny_mce for convert textareas into WYSIWUG editor (I've tried to disable tiny_mce). When I put $("input").click( function(){ alert('clicked!'); }); - it's working(I have an alert). When I get focused to any input I even can't refresh page by F5 and go to the next element by Tab key. I hope You can help me to understand what's wrong with this code.
