  • Question about the ITextUndoHistory that gets returned from TryGetHistory

    Everytime the IWpfTextView's TextBuffer changes I am trying to get the history's redostack and undostack and simply checking the count. When doing this I am encountering a "Method not supported exception" when trying to access the two stacks. Am I retrieving the history incorrectly or does VS not want me seeing/editing the contents of the stacks? I can post the code if necessary... Thanks, Nick

    The C# Language Reference on MSDN defines that protected internal as "Access is limited to the current assembly or types derived from the containing class". But from the semantic point of protected internal" sounds to me like both protected and internal which means the member will accessible only to those derived classes with in the same assembly. Is there any access modified that has a meaning to the same effect?

For instance, is it in any way guaranteed that the following code will always produce the same results, whatever the version of Python (existing and in the foreseeable future)? 0 == False # True 1 == True # True ['zero', 'one'][False] # is 'zero' Any reference to the official documentation would be much appreciated! I want when the user time is over he/she must be taken to result page and show the result, I am using asp.net ajax timer, but if the user press F5 his time start again and by pressing F5 he can continue his test. how can I stop that. also is there a easy way to show countdown using Ajax for 60sec Regards Arshad

    I've read about this a lot and I just can't figure it out. It has nothing to do with MY code, it has to do with the feed or something because if I swap it with a Twitter feed it returns an Object object which is perfect. $.getJSON('http://rockbottom.nozzlmedia.com:8000/api/portland/?count=1&callback=?',function(json){ console.log(json) }); And i get an "invalid label" error. Any ideas?

    I'm wondering what the difference is between the following two modules # First Example module Parent module Child end end and # Second Example module Parent::Child end Using the 2nd method, it appears as though the Parent module must be previously defined, otherwise I get an 'uninitialized constant' error Given this, what is the preferred way of defining modules such as this and then adding nested children with regards to syntax and file structure (ie. folders etc). Reference to a Rails way would be greatly appreciated. Are these two examples for all intents and purposes equivalent?

When first stepping through my code (which calls this dll's class and method), I get an error (runtime of course) stating that the source cannot be found and if I want to step through disassembly.     I ran ldd command on an executable created by Open MPI. It shows a reference to libpthread.so Using LD_PRELOAD variable I created my own implementation of pthread_create, but from the it output it seems that MPI implementation is not calling pthread_create as I had expected. Why does ldd show pthread so file in output if it is not being used? does Open MPI not use a separate MPI thread for every node to implement the functionality?

    If I write a C# class called Foo and that is compiled into an assembly named FooLib.dll. Then, I write a Windows Service in C# that references FooLib.dll. When I deploy my Windows Service using InstallUtil.exe: a) do I have to explicitly tell it to reference my FooLib.dll? b) where does FooLib.dll get deployed if I mean to deploy it as a private assembly and not in the GAC?

    I am currently working on an search application which uses Lucene.Net to index the data from the database to Index file. I have a product catalog which has Name, short and long description, sku and other fields. The data is stored in Index using StandardAnalyzer. I am trying to add auto suggestion for a text field and using TermEnum to get all the keyword terms and its score from the Index. But the terms returned are of single term. For example, if I type for co, the suggestion returned are costume, count, collection, cowboy, combination etc. But I want the suggestion to return phrases. With SQL I would do something like: select id, count(*) from taggings group by taggable_id; But I am not seeing how to do this with the plugin. Thanks!

  • Issues accessing an object's array values - returns null or 0s

    The function below should return an array of objects with this structure: TopicFrequency = { name: "Chemistry", //This is dependent on topic data: [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12] //This would be real data }; so when I do this: myData = this.getChartData("line"); it should return two objects: {name : "Chemistry", data : [1,2,3,4,51,12,0,0, 2,1,41, 31]} {name : "Math", data : [0,0,41,4,51,12,0,0, 2,1,41, 90]} so when I do console.log(myData); it's perfect, returns exactly this. However when I do console.log(myData[0].data) it returns all 0s, not the values. I'm not sure what this issues is known as, and my question is simple what is this problem known as? Here is the full function. Somethings were hardcoded and other variables (notable server and queryContent) removed. Those parts worked fine, it is only when manipulated/retreiving the returned array's values that I run into problems.
