• Reporting Services 2010 RDLC: Passing Querystring Parameters from an RDLC

  I'm trying to build a simple RDLC report that shows some data, and has a 'select' link that sends the browser off to a certain url with some data in the querystring (a key). In the vs2010 report designer, I can double-click on the column, then select action, and there are a bunch of thigns that seem like they might work. But none of them do. Under 'enable as a hyperlink' I can pick 'go to url' but there aren't any parameter options to pass. I also tried 'go to report' on the off chance that I could trick it into doing what I want. Here there are parameter options, but it knows that my url is not a report and the "select" link renders as text (not clickable). Any ideas? I'm pretty sure this used to work in vs2008, and it seems like something that must be doable. But I've been pulling out my hair for several hours on this one.

  Is it possible to align grid column headers in jqgrid? eg align left right or center? In the jqrid documents http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:colmodel_options it says: align: Defines the alignment of the cell in the Body layer, not in header cell. Possible values: left, center, right. Note that it says "not in the header cell". How can I do this for the header cell (grid title cell)? The documentation fails to mention this little detail....

  Hi at all, I'm having a issue trying to get working a JPA nativeQuery. I'm having a org.hibernate.MappingException: No Dialect mapping for JDBC type: 2002 when a try to do a nativeQuery and get a geometry field type. I use oracle and org.hibernatespatial.oracle.OracleSpatial10gDialect. • Subtotal error on calculated field in a Reporting Services Matrix

  I've got a Reporting Services report that has two row groups: Category and SubCategory. For columns it has LastYearDataA, ThisYearDataA, LastYearDataB, ThisYearDataB. I added two columns (one for A and one for B) to handle an expression calculation (to show a percentage different from LastYear to ThisYear for each). That's working. The problem comes in the SubTotal for each category. The raw numbers are totaling correctly. If SubCat1 has 10//5 for LastYear/ThisYear A, and SubCat2 has 5//1, then I get 15/5 for the totals. But I get the percentage reported in the total column as "50%", matching SubCat1. Percentages for each Subcategory are being calculated correctly (according to my backup math, anyway). But the sub total % always matches the first SubCategory in the group. Is this impossible to do in Reporting Services 2005?

• WPF Custom Buttons below ListBox Items

  WPF Experts - I am trying to add buttons below my custom listbox and also have the scroll bar go to the bottom of the control. Only the items should move and not the buttons. I was hoping for some guidance on the best way to achieve this. I was thinking the ItemsPanelTemplate needed to be modified but was not certain. • jsonSerializer.DeserializeObject and arrays

  I have a column in the a database with values like the below. [{"noteText":"Today was sunny.","noteDate":"2010-03-30 10:06:22"},{"noteDate":"2010-04-06 13:21:36","noteText":"Today was windy."}] I think they are from an array of objects serialized via flash to Json. What I need to do is pull out the noteText and noteDate values only and record them back to the database as a normal string. I was hoping to just deserialize back to objects and build up a string from there, however, due to my unfamiliarity with c# and .Net I've hit a brick wall trying to deserialize the string. var obj = jsonSerializer.DeserializeObject(ns); Am I going in the right direction or should I be looking at doing some string manipulation? Any pointers much appreciated.

  My input is a well-formed XML document and a corresponding XML Schema document. What I would like to do is determine the location within the XML document that causes it to fail validation against the XML Schema document.   I need to programmatically generate an RTF document with a table that has a column vertically merged., e.x. ______________________________ | merged | foo | hello | | cell | | | | right |--------|----------| | here | bar | world | |_________|________|__________| I looked up online and found that the codes are \clvmgf and \clvmrg but I can't find a decent example. I made a text rtf using MS word, but there's too much junk rtf codes in it for me to figure it out where to put the \clvmgf and \clvmrg to get this to work. Could someone give me an rtf for above example table with no extraneous rtf codes so I can figure out how \clvmgf and \clvmrg works? Any additional explanation would also be greatly appreciated. • How do I prevent flickering on CListCtrl?

  I'm using a CListCtrl/CListView report view (LVS_REPORT) in virtual mode (LVS_OWNERDATA) with LVS_EX_DOUBLEBUFFER enabled and I encounter ugly flickering. Double buffer have a real effect but it doesn't stop all flickering (without it very slow). I'm not looking for switching to other controls that would require a high amount of rework (like ObjectListView) How does the flickering behaves: * on column resize - the background is first clean using lightgray and after this is displayed the text (background is white) * on mouse scroll (animated) - for a very short time there is lightgray-bar displayed in the area where new lines are to be displayed. It looks like it does clean the background using the default window background color (lightgray) for the area where it has to redraw. How do I solve the flickering problem?

• Replace or recode several different values by a single value in an Excel file

  Hi all, I have an Excel worksheet which contains data in several columns. For a specific column, I will need Excel to replace all values between, say 10 to 15, by the value 1 and values between 16 and 20 by the value 2 and so forth. I know how to do it for a single value; ie: I can replace value 10 by 1, 11 by 1 and so on. But this will be a tedious exercise. Are there some lines of codes that can execute this task?   is there a way i can have markdown in .NET/C# application? i wonder shld i store the data in HTML or markdown text? if i store the data in HTML, when the user edits, they will see HTML, but if i store in Markdown, everytime i display, i got to convert to HTML(slow?) or store the HTML in another column, will it waste too much space? i understand markdown.net maybe used for this site. isit true? but heard its not updated since 2004/5?

I was wondering whether the following are possible using the package: Add help texts beside/below input/select fields and textareas (e.g. "This field is required", "Example: qwerty123") Add/modify attributes for the input/select fields and textareas (e.g. adding the following attributes: class, id, name, maxlength, minlength, etc.) Add custom validations like checking whether a particular field should be unique or checking a value against a regular expression Modify the error messages Add another column to the table generated by the form Also note that djangoforms.ModelForm is different from django.forms.Form.

• xperf won't use my DLL's pdb

  I'm attempting to use xperf to profile my (unmanaged) DLL which is loaded by another (managed) application. Basically, xperf isn't loading the symbols for my DLL; in the CPU usage summary, my DLL's function column says 'Unknown' xperf gives me: xperf: Using symbol path: C:\app\mydll\releaseu;SRV*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols xperf: Using executable path: C:\app\mydll\releaseu;SRV*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols xperf: Using SymCache path: \SymCache Where C:\app\mydll\releaseu is where my DLL's .pdb file is located. Using xperf -symbols or clicking Load Symbols in the viewer doesn't load my DLL's symbols. A folder for mydll isn't created in C:\Symbols, I'm only getting the symbols from Microsoft. Any idea how to make it work?

• jqGrid: how to change cell padding

  Hi, I'm using jqGrid3.6.5 on google hosted jQueryUI1.8.2 and jQuery1.4.2 I want to change the cell padding of a jqGrid. For testing purposes I want to set it to 10px all around each cell. The only option I've come across while googling is the following: add padding with CSS. eg. #grid-id td{ padding:10px; } set cellLayout option to 21 (paddingleft + paddingright + borderleft) When I have no set width on any of the columns in my colModel, this works like expected. Though when I resize one of the headers, or set a column width in the colModel, headers and cells aren't aligned anymore. Anyone know how to fix this or know an alternative way to alter cell padding?

  Would very much appreciate any help or hint on were to go next. I'm trying to change the content of a row in ListView programmatically. In one row there are 3 TextView and a ProgressBar. I want to animate the ProgressBar if the 'result' column of the current row is zero. After reading some tutorials and docs, I came to the conclusion that LayoutInflater has to be used and getView() - overriden. Maybe I am wrong on this. If I return row = inflater.inflate(R.layout.row, null); from the function, it gives NullPointerException. • XML/XSD intellisense not working in Visual Studio 2010

  I am working on xml and xsd files in VS 2010 but intellisense isn't working. Intellisense is working for the same files in VS 2008, however. When I type '<xs:' options like "attribute", "complexType", "simpleType", or "element" do not appear. Is there some difference between the VS 2008 and VS 2010 that I'm missing? I add an xsd file to my solution. All the proper namespaces are generated automatically as such: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xs:schema id="XMLSchema2" targetNamespace="http://tempuri.org/XMLSchema2.xsd" elementFormDefault="qualified" xmlns="http://tempuri.org/XMLSchema2.xsd" xmlns:mstns="http://tempuri.org/XMLSchema2.xsd" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> </xs:schema> The "xsdschema.xsd" is in the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\xml\Schemas" directory. There is a check mark in the "Use" column in the XML Schemas dialog box.

• How to interact with checkbox actions ? (QTableView with QStandardItemModel)

  I'm using QTableView and QStandardItemModel to show some data. For each row, there is a column which has a check Box, this check box is inserted by setItem, the code is as follows: int rowNum; QStandardItemModel *tableModel; QStandardItem* __tmpItem = new QStandardItem(); __tmpItem->setCheckable(true); __tmpItem->setCheckState(Qt::Unchecked); tableModel->setItem(rowNum,0,__tmpItem); Now I want to interact with the check box. If a check box changes its state by user (from checked to unchecked or vice versa), I want to do something on the corresponding data row. I know I can use signal-slot to catch the change of checkbox, but since there are lots of data row, I don't want to connect each row one by one. Is there anyway to interact with the check action more effectively? Thanks :)

The date format looks like this, and it is in the first column of dataset: 25-May-07 The command I use is: z <- read.zoo("multiplier7.csv", sep = ";", header = TRUE, format="%d-%b-%y") I get this error: Error in strptime(x, format, tz = "GMT") : input string is too long First question is: 1. Is Zoo the right package to use if I want to use lm regression with a spline time dummy? The bs command does not work because I need to convert it into a time series. 2. Why is this error occurring and how to fix?
