  • MediaWiki on MS Sql Server

    Hello all, I've been doing some digging on running mediawiki on sql server instead of mySQL, but haven't come across any concrete information. All of our servers are running SQL Server so I'd like to stick with that. I've tried Screwturn wiki, which is an ASP.NET wiki implementation using SQL Server, but I'm not terribly happy with the editing interface, and would really like to get MediaWiki up and running. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks!

    I have a Acer Aspire One AOA 150 with Windows Xp Home. I want to monitor the voltages from the power supply, the temperature of the system, the CPU and fan speeds. Much like the functionality of GKrellM(though I haven't used this on the netbook yet) , a GTK applet designed to make an impressive panel of monitors or xsensors in Linux. Is this possible with the netbook? I want a software for Windows 7 and Windows Xp.

  • Processor with higher FSB than motherboard can support.

    Hi all, Please redirect me if there is a similar question, but I have an ECS P4VXASD2+ (V5.0) motherboard, which supports a 533 MHz FSB. I want to put in a Pentium 4 3.2 GHz processor (Socket 478) with an FSB of 800 MHz. Would this be possible? Would the FSB of the processor just be limited to 533 MHz? Thanks in advance.

  • reset file permissions?

    In my /var/www folder i have permission 2750 with the owner being root (unless i change it by hand) and the group being www-data. I mv a folder into /var/www and i'd like to reset the permissions so everything is 2750 and for the group to be www-data, is it possible to do it in one command? or do i need to do multiple cmds? (its two commands, 3 if i want the same owner but it be nice to do it with one for this folder)

This works fine if I blacklist the radeon kernel module via /etc/modprobe.d/.     Is it possible to limit a user to a particular host, using the Resource Quota Configuration option in qmon for Sun Grid Engine? I'm thinking of a line to the effect of: { ... limit users {john} to hostname=compute-1-1.local } The documentation mentions built in resource types: slots, arch, mem_total, num_proc, swap_total, and the ability to make custom types. Details: SGE 6.1u5 on Rocks update: The above rule seems to be valid, since using an unknown hostname mangling the resource name 'hostname' both cause errors

    I have an HP Mini 110 with Splashtop OS as an 'instant on' OS. I've updated to the newest version which has a Chromium browser...and not too much else You know what would be really cool? The newest Chromium/Chrome OS build on there instead Can someone in the know tel me if this is even possible? (just to be clear, I don't want to put Chrome OS on my hard drive or boot to a USB drive. I want Chrome OS installed in the same place that Splashtop is installed.)
