  • Changing paths to images in Wordpress

    I recently moved a friends blog onto his new web hosts but unfortunately the images are not working. This is due to the old host having the following path for images: http://www.example.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/imagename.jpg The new host uses a different layout and has this path for the file: http://www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/imagename.jpg 'Blog' has been removed. Does anyone know the easiest way to fix this issue?

  • PNGs alpha transparancy in AS3 - Unknown file-type

    Hello there! After whittling down of the options we've encountered a problem with PNG's and ActionScript 3 (AS3). When loading a PNG 8 or PNG 32 with alpha transparancy we're getting the following error reported in Flash:- "Error #2124: Loaded file is an unknown type" Now, we're dealing with some legacy images, and it appears as though this problem isn't universal - some images believed to be 32bit alpha PNG are loading. BUT, some conclusions:- converting one image that was 32 bit alpha (NOT WORKING IN AS3) to PNG 8 index transparency DID work. And converting that same image to PNG 8 alpha DID NOT work.   • Why is Gmail not showing my text/html alternative?

    I'm creating an outgoing e-mail message (TIdMessage) with add two TIdText objects, one with ContentType:='text/plain' and one ContentType:='text/html', and also a TIdAttachment object. This seems to work for Outlook, which shows the HTML content, but for some odd reason, GMail keeps showing me the text/plain version by default. I've tried adding the text/html version first, I've tried adding '; charset=iso-8859-1' to the content type string, but I can't seem to find what else is different with other e-mails that GMail is showing the HTML from rightaway.

  • Where to put default-servlet-handler in Spring MVC configuration

    In my web.xml, the default servlet mapping, i.e. /, is mapped to Spring dispatcher. In my Spring dispatcher configuration, I have DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping, ControllerClassNameHandlerMapping and AnnotationMethodHandlerAdapter which allows me to map url to controllers either by its class name or its @Requestmapping annotation. However, there are some static resources under the web root which I also want spring dispatcher to serve using default servlet. According to Spring documentation, this can be done using <mvc:default-servlet-handler/> tag. In the configuration below, there are 4 candidate locations that I marked which are possible to insert this tag. Inserting the tag in different location causes the dispatcher to behave differently as following : Case 1 : If I insert it at location 1, the dispatcher will no longer be able to handle mapping by the @RequestMapping and controller class name but it will be serving the static content normally. Cas 2, 3 : It will be able to handle mapping by the @RequestMapping and controller class name as well as serving the static content if other mapping cannot be done successfully. Case 4 : It will not be able to serve the static contents. I encountered the following C++ code: String source = String::New("'Hello' + ', World'"); As what I understand so far, this should be a call to static member function 'New' of class 'String'. But, I've searched through the whole header file defining 'String', there is not any static member named 'New' in the String class or its super classes. Is there any special meaning attached to String class or the New member function in C++?

  • Edit Contact code worked in 1.6 but doesn't work on Droid 2.1?

    Hi All, I had some fairly simple code in my app to invoke Edit Contact activity on a known good contact index that worked in Android 1.6 but is broken for me now in Android 2.1 on the Droid.     I managed to get this code to compile with out error. But somehow it did not return the strings that I wrote inside file1.txt and file.txt that I pass its path through str1 and str2. My objective is to use this open source library to measure the similarity between strings contains inside 2 text files.     I have a C++ application that needs to support binary database content (images, etc). When using MS Access or MS SQL Server this data is wrapped inside an OLE object. How do I strip this OLE header information? Note that I can't just look for the beginning of a specific tag as the content can be png, jpg and a whole heap of other formats. Should I use something like COleDataObject?

  • .NET JIT Code Cache leaking?

    We have a server component written in .Net 3.5. It runs as service on a Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition. It works great but after some time (days) we notice massive slowdowns and an increased working set. We expected some kind of memory leak and used WinDBG/SOS to analyze dumps of the process. Unfortunately the GC Heap doesn’t show any leak but we noticed that the JIT code heap has grown from 8MB after the start to more than 1GB after a few days. We don’t use any dynamic code generation techniques by our own. We use Linq2SQL which is known for dynamic code generation but we don’t know if it can cause such a problem. The main question is if there is any technique to analyze the dump and check where all this Host Code Heap blocks that are shown in the WinDBG dumps come from? [Update] In the mean time we did some more analysis and had Linq2SQL as probable suspect, especially since we do not use precompiled queries.     How many significant digits should I use when defining a double literal in Java? This is assuming that I am trying to represent a number with more significant figures than a double can hold. In Math.java I see 20 and 21: public static final double E = 2.7182818284590452354; public static final double PI = 3.14159265358979323846; This is more than the 15-17 significant digits provided by IEEE 754. So what's the general rule-of-thumb?

    In my application I'm loading windows from 'plugins', so my app doesn't know them until runtime. I'm creating DockableContent for each plugin and sets it's Content to Control returned by plugin. Each plugin tells, if it's window should be initially docked or floating, user can change it later. So I have an instance of DockableContent and I want to change it to FloatingWindow programatically. Changing content.DockableStyle to DockableStyle.Floating isn't enough, what else I have to do?

    Hello: I am using the following tcl code to store a file from my deskstop into a Sqlite database as blob data ($fileText is a path to a text file): sqlite3 db Docs.db set fileID [open $fileText RDONLY] fconfigure $fileID -translation binary set content [read $fileID] close $fileID db eval {insert into Document (Doc) VALUES ($content)} db close I have found many resources on how to open the blob data to read and write to it, but I cannot find any resources on openning the blob data as a file. For example, if $fileText was a pdf, how would I open it, from Sqlite, as a pdf? Thanks, DFM
