  • jquery live event gets executed twice

    I am loading content into a page with ajax that will have live click events attached to them. It seems like the first time I load this content everything works as expected. If I load this again, the events fire twice (when put breakpoints in the code). What am I doing wrong? Is there a way I can clear the dom of these elements before they get loaded again?

    What am I doing wrong with this: $sql = "SELECT * FROM content WHERE threadName LIKE '%$filter%' ORDER BY lastUpdated desc UNION SELECT * FROM content WHERE threadName NOT LIKE '%$filter%' ORDER BY lastUpdated desc"; The first statement before the UNION works well on its own, but this one above returns: mysql_fetch_array() warning - supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource Am I right in believing that UNION will not return duplicate entries, in which case the second SELECT statement doesn't need to have the NOT LIKE but will just return everything that wasn't listed in the first statement.

I descided to change the user structure - I add an array of Warehouse object. Since that time, when UserResolver.Current executed (after Login), HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated was false and I couldn't get the user data. When I removed the Warehouse[] from user structure, it starts to be ok again and HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.IsAuthenticated become true after I Login. What is the reason to this weird behaviour?

  • retrieving information from web service calls

    Hi all, I am trying to retrieve information from a web service call. The following is what I have so far. In my text view, it is showing Map {item=anyType{key=TestKey; value=2;}; item=anyType{key=TestField; value=adsfasd; };} When I ran that in the debugger, I can see the information above in the variable, tempvar. But the question is, how do I retrieve the information (i.e. the actual values of "key" and "value" in each of the array positions)? Yes, I know there is a lot going on in onCreate and I will fix it later.     We have a WPF app that allows our users to download encrypted content and we want to provide the ability to decrypt this content off-line. The idea is to download the keys and store them using the DPAPI but I'm having trouble with the entropy parameter. Is there any way to generate an entropy to consistently use for the DPAPI functions with out hardcoding/storing them? Thanks Tony

  • jqModal and jquery widget long shot

    Hi All, I just started playing around with jquery widgets within my jqmodals in my mvc app. I know this may be a long shot but I'll take it. Initially, I can click the Add link, get the alert ("which is the prize", watching too much tv), next click cancel to close modal and get the desired results. I can, then, click the Edit link and get the same desired results. However, if I click Edit link first then I try to click the Add link, "forget about it" I don't get the alert (which means my widget did not init).   • PHP, display image with Header()

    I'm displaying images from outside my web root, like this: header('Content-type:image/png'); readfile($fullpath); The content-type: image/png is what confuses me. Someone else helped me out with this code, but I noticed that not all images are PNG. Many are jpg or gif. And still they are displayed successfully. does anyone know why?

  • Use html files from another project in ASP.NET MVC

    I know that I can use normal html files in ASP.NET MVC; however I have a situation where several (above 20) html files are needed for static display. This is fine and good, but I really don't want it cluttering the MVC project since none of them will have controller actions. Is there any way to load up a second project and use static html files from it, within ASP.NET MVC?
