• Background image flickering when mouseover - IE.

  Hello everyone, I have a contact form and I added an image as a background. The background image is flickering when I move the mouse over the fields in IE(6,7,8). If I remove the contact form (made with divs) everything is fine. I tried to build the form with table and I have the same problem. Any solution? Every idea is welcomed! Thanks!

  I'm conflicted between a "read once, use memory+pointers to files" and a "read when necessary" approach. The latter is of course much easier (no additional classes needed to store the whole dir structure), but IMO it is slower? A little clarification: I'm writing a simple build system, that read a project file, checks if all files are present, and runs some compile steps. The file tree is static, so the first option doesn't need to be very dynamic and only needs to be built once every time the program is run. Thanks

  Hi, I'm trying to achieve a requirement in Pre-requisites part of my package: The package should be able to check for the presence of a specific Operating System or Microsoft Patch on the target machine and block installation if the specified OS&patch is not found.   I'm trying to build a pager where it's just Next / Previous buttons that call a jquery function that post a JSON request. Inside the function, the current page "index" is retrieved from a hidden field and passed to the controller. Inside the controller, I reset the index if I'm on the last page of data. How would I pass the new index value back to the view? Or is there a better way to do what i'm trying to do? Thanks

• How do I detect what software is using the webcam on a Windows box (XP,Vista,7)

I have thought about seeing who has use of the Twain.dll somehow (like the way process explorer knows) It's for a security style app that picks out weird webcam behaviour.
