• How to use regular expression and assign result into valuables in Android??

  Dear all, I have to say sorry for my poor English first... I have a string named s_Result which will be parsed from Internet, the format may be "Distance: 2.8km (about 9 mins)", and there are 4 variables which are f_Distance, m_DistanceUnit, f_timeEst, m_timeEstUnit. My question is, how to parse s_Result and assign 2.8, km, 9, mins into f_Distance, m_distanceUnit, f_timeEst, and m_timeEstUnit respectively using regular expression?? I tried using "\d+(.\d+)?" in RegEx Tester and the result showed 2 matches found, but if use "\\d+(\\.\\d+)?" in Android code, it showed nothing matched!!! Is there any suggestion??   Hi! I have a aspx file that suppose to write to a file in the server while loading. On the local machine it works fine, but when i deploy it to a live server it gives me an exception "Access to the path 'd:\DZHosts\LocalUser\asafz83\www.asafz83.somee.com\lala.htm' is denied." WHen i asked my serverAdmin for the reason - he told me to remove any impersonation from my web.config file. Well, my web.config file doesn't contain any impersonation, so i'm really confused: What can i do in order for this sealy-stupid application to work? thanks!

• Coding issue in the 3D Buzz Hyperion tutorial.I am work

  I'm following along with the tutorial. And we are currently coding the Item class. I am using the 2008 edition, while the tutorial uses 2005. The code I am having issue with is: public string Weight { get { return weight; } set { weight = value; } } earlier in the code, we had: private int Weight = 1; as you can see, they are both different variables, int, and string. I'm doing exactly as the tutorial shows, on mine, I get a conversion error, whereas in the tutorial, there are no errors, why is this? I'm doing exactly what the video shows.

  I want to write a parser for EDIFACT messages with JavaCC. My problem is that I cannot define all terminal symbols before parsing a message because at the begining of each message there is a so called "Advice Segment" ("UNA" Segment) which defines things like element seperator symbol, escape symbol, segment terminator symbol and decimal notation (e.g. '.' or ','). So I think/guess the production rules need some kind of variables which must be set at runtime during parsing. Can this be done with JavaCC and if so how? Or is there another way I am missing?

• Does a C++ destructor always or only sometimes call data member destructors?

  I'm trying to validate my understanding of C++ destructors. I've read many times that C++ supplies a default destructor if I don't write one myself. But does this mean that if I DO write a destructor that the compiler WON'T still provide the default cleanup of stack-allocated class fields? My hunch is that the only sane behavior would be that all class fields are destroyed no matter what, whether I provide my own destructor or not. In which case the statement I've read so many times is actually a little misleading and could be better stated as: "Whether or not you write your own destructor, the C++ compiler always writes a default destructor-like sequence to deallocate the member variables of your class. You may then specify additional deallocations or other tasks as needed by defining your own destructor" Is this correct?

  I've been trying to compare the output of a program to known correct output by using a bash script without piping the output of the program to a file and then using diff on the output file and a correct output file. I've tried setting the variables to the output and correct output and I believe it's been successful but I can't get the string comparison to work correctly. I may be wrong about the variable setting so it could be that. • WPF DataGrid adding extra "ghost" row

  Hei, In my application i'm using DataGrid to show some data. To get everything working with threading i'm using AsyncObservableCollection as DataContext of DataGrid. When my application starts it looks for files in some folders and updates AsyncObservableCollection. Now here's where things go bad, when i start the application for some reason i get 2 rows with same data in DataGrid even if there is one item in collection. If i add a delay(Thread.Sleep() 50ms minimum) before executing loading files method then DataGrid show everything correctly (no extra row). Have anybody encountered something similar or is there something else i should try? Thanks in advance!

• navigation framework in silverlight 3 skipping constructor when usercontrol is of a derived type

  Hi: I am using the NavigationFramework in Silverlight 3, and am running into issues where the constructor of the UserControl in the xaml I am loading is not being called, and I believe this is because the UserControl in the xaml I am calling is actually derived from another user control. I have stepped through the debugger with specific break points and the constructor is being ignored completey. I have MyWindowBlue which is of type uctrlBaseMyWindow. The constructor for uctrlBaseMyWindow is being called when the xaml is 'navigated to' but the constructor for MyWindowBlue is being ignored. This is not the case if I add the user control via markup directly. Anyone else have this issue? The code I am using to navigate to the MyWindowBlue is this.MyContentFrame.Navigate(new Uri("/Controls/uctrlMyWindowBlue.xaml", UriKind.Relative)); Has anyone run into this or could offer any help?   I have a form in which several buttons are added at runtime via a 'for' method public Form() { for (int i = 0 ... ) Button b = new Button() b.text = (string) i ; etc.. etc.. } . now i wish to change the text property of the buttons on a certain event. How can this be accomplished? I have tried a few things but none worked.. since the buttons variables are inside the method , they are not available outside. Thanks

  I want to use numpy.savetxt() to save an array of complex numbers to a text file. Problems: If you save the complex array with the default format string, the imaginary part is discarded. If you use fmt='%s', then numpy.loadtxt() can't load it unless you specify dtype=complex, converters={0: lambda s: complex(s)}. Even then, if there are NaN's in the array, loading still fails. It looks like someone has inquired about this multiple times on the Numpy mailing list and even filed a bug, but has not gotten a response. Before I put something together myself, is there a canonical way to do this?

• Apache 2.2 / Win7 - slow or not responsive

  My configuration - Windows 7 x64, Php 5.3, Apache 2.2.15, latest Mysql. When loading pages from localhost, the response time shown by firebug is more 530ms for the main 'index.php' file, sometimes the connection is reset. It's painfully slow. I googled the problem and found a workaround - switch off and on again a win service called BFE - base filtering engine. Then everything works like a lightning but xdebug doesn't work in netbeans. Why is this response time so long? Can you think of any other solution than BFE toggling? joey33

  Supose we have a very simple model: Station has at least one Train Train has at least two Stations The model has to allow to check what stations any given train visits and to check what trains visit a particular station. How to model it in Haskell? I am a Haskell newbie, so please correct me: once an object is created, you cannot modify it - you can only make a new object based on that one (~immutability). Am I right? If so, I'll have to create a lot of temporary variables with semi-initialized objects (during deserialization or even in unit tests). Basically what I need is an example of modeling domain classes in Haskell - after reading "Learn you a haskell.." I still have no idea how to use this language.

  I have managed to write several interpreters including Tokenizing Parsing, including more complicated expressions such as ((x+y)*z)/2 Building bytecode from syntax trees Actual bytecode execution What I didn't manage: Implementation of dictionaries/lists/arrays. I always got stuck with getting multiple values into one variable. My value structure (used for all values passed around, including variables) looks like this, for example: class Value { public: ValueType type; int integerValue; string stringValue; } Works fine with integers and strings, but how could I implement arrays? (From now on with array I mean arrays in my experimental language, not in C++) How can I fit the array concept into the Value class above? Is it possible? How should I make arrays able to be passed around just as you could pass around integers and strings in my language, using the class above? Accessing array elements or memory allocation wouldn't be the problem, I just don't know how to store them.

  Hi All, My VS 2008 seems to be acting a bit weird and the solution is eluding me. The problem is that if I open a config file; app.config or web.config, this looks and behaves as a plain text document. I have no formatting, no coloring, no intellisense and no collapsible or expandable regions. I have reset all setting and restored default file associations. If I go into the setting menu, Text Editor, XML, formatting I see an error "An error occurred loading this property page" Has any one seen this before and have you go a solution. Thanks

  I have been working on the mobile version of my rails application.I am using the approach of using the same controller and rendering a mobile view when the request is from a mobile device. I am using jquery mobile in mobile views. For mobile views I did not use any layout for the views because it is the same as loading the required files in each view. In this approach, Every request essentially loads all of the required js,css files which i feel is making the mobile site to load slowly. Am I wrong in assuming that as the instance being initialised in the hosting application is used for each request to the WebServiceHost? Any pointers here would be great.

  Hi, I have set up OpenSSH in my windows environment and wants to invoke a ANT script from a Linux environment. But i'm getting the following error: $ ant -f invoke.xml Buildfile: /home/inysi/jpegu/cdt/tmp/invoke.xml run: [sshexec] Connecting to ****** [sshexec] cmd : ant -f build.xml [sshexec] uname: not found [sshexec] basename: not found [sshexec] dirname: not found [sshexec] Error: JAVA_HOME is not defined correctly. [sshexec] We cannot execute java [sshexec] which: not found BUILD SUCCESSFUL Total time: 2 seconds But, i can invoke the remote ANT script in Linux environment using SSHEXEC from windows. Can you please let me know, what could be the issue. JAVA_HOME is set in the windows environment variables. Where to set JAVA_HOME in the windows environment. Is there something similar to .bash_profile in windows. So that ANT process can pick it up.

I have this swf url... http://subdom.domain.tld/subfolder/live.swf?stream=rtmp://stream.domain.com/application&provider=rtmp&file=streamname&autostart=true I want it to be rewrite as http://subdom.domain.tld/subfolder/assignedname/ So far this is what I written on .htaccess file RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^kwt/?$ live.swf?stream=rtmp://stream.domain.com/application&provider=rtmp&file=streamname&autostart=true [NC,L] It does seem to rewrite to the swf file because the swf is showing but for some reason the variable is not recognized. It does not auto play even the auto play variable is set to true in the RewriteRule. Is there something wrong with my code or it can't be done in swf file?

  I wrote a program that makes a reference to Microsoft.Web.Administration.dll, which is not present on Windows Server 2003.   I'm using backbone for a reasonably complicated form. I have a number of nested models, and have been computing other variables in the parent model like so: // INSIDE PARENT MODEL computedValue: function () { var value = this.get('childModel').get('childModelProperty'); return value; } This seems to work fine for keeping my UI in sync, but as soon as I call .save() on the parent model, I get: Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method 'get' It seems that the child model kind of temporarily stops responding.   Hi, I have a form in a MS AJAX ModalPopup Extender, which is in a UpdatePanel (for async loading). Everything works as expected. There is one thing that I am trying to do but not sure how to do it. On form submission, there is server side validation on top of client side validation. My question is: what is the best way to display validation error messages if any? It would be ideal if the messages could be written to the popup asynchronously so that the popup is still there. If this is not possible, I am thinking of displaying the messages using the JavaScript alert box. Any insight and suggestions are greatly appreciated. John

• NHibernate, each property is filled with a different select statement

  I'm retrieving a list of nhibernate entites which have relationships to other tables/entities. I've noticed instead of NHibernate performing JOINS and populating the properties, it retrieves the entity and then calls a select for each property. For example if a user can have many roles and I retrieve a user from the DB, Nhibernate retrieves the user and then populates the roles with another select statement. The problem is that I want to retrieve oh let's say a list of products which have various many-to-many relationships and relationships to items which have their own relationships. In the end I'm left with over a thousand DB calls to retrieve a list of 30 products. Thanks. I've also set default lazy loading to false because whenever I save the list of entities to a session, I get an error when trying to retrieve it on another page: LazyInitializationException: could not initialize proxy If anybody could shed any light I would truly appreciate it.
