    When using XSLT how do I apply a class to an element which already has a class? The way I'm doing it it replaces the class that is already present? How would I add the class in addition to the existing class?     How can I make a link that justs adds or changes 1 GET var while maintaining all others? I have a page that is created using different GET vars. So it will be like mypage.php?color=red&size=7&brand=some%20brand So I want to have a link that sets it to page=2 or size=8. Whats the easiest way to have a link do that without reseting all the other vars? I hope that makes sense, let me know if I need to further explain anything

  • Converting byte[] of binary fixed point to floating point value?

    I'm reading some data over a socket. The integral data types are no trouble, the System.BitConverter methods are correctly handling the conversion. (So there are no Endian issues to worry about, I think?) However, BitConverter.ToDouble isn't working for the floating point parts of the data...the source specification is a bit low level for me, but talks about a binary fixed point representation with a positive byte offset in the more significant direction and negative byte offset in the less significant direction. Most of the research I've done has been aimed at C++ or a full fixed-point library handling sines and cosines, which sounds like overkill for this problem. Could someone please help me with a C# function to produce a float from 8 bytes of a byte array with, say, a -3 byte offset?

  • What is the easiest way to set the value of an entire array?

    My current project requires me to fill an array based upon some other values. I know there's the shortcut: int arr[4][4] = { {0,0,0,0} , {0,0,0,0} , {0,0,0,0} , {0,0,0,0} }; But in this case, I need to fill the array after its declaration. I currently have my code formatted like this: int arr[4][4]; if(someothervariable == 1){ arr = { {1,1,1,1}, {1,2,3,4}, {2,,3,4,5}, {3,4,5,6} }; } But it won't compile. Is there a way to make use of the mentioned shortcut in my case? If not, whats the best fix available? I'd appreciate a way to set it without explicitly assigning each element? ie: arr[0][0] = ...

  • How do I detect a text input's value and set a class with jQuery?

    I would like to make sure if a textbox has any content at all, that jQuery can show it's parent (an <li class="hidden_dedication") element and set add a class of 'shown'. It seems to me that when the while the method gets a string from the keyboard and then only if that string checks out is a true and the while allowed to terminate. The output I get though is this: What team controls Alaska ? How many unites are on Alaska ? (there is space at the end to type in an input) This would seem to suggest that the while terminates before an input is ever typed in since the first line of text is within the while while the second line of text comes after it outside of it. Why is this happening?

  • Forcing value to boolean: (bool) makes warning, !! doesnt.

    I like (bool) way more, but it generates warnings. How do i get rid off the warnings? I have code like: bool something_else = 0; void switcher(int val = -1){ if(val != -1){ something_else = (bool)val; }else{ something_else ^= 1; } } Should i just do it like everyone else and use '!!' or make it somehow hide the warning messages when using (bool) ? Or is '!!' actually faster than (bool) ? I would like to use (bool) and so i have to hide the warning, but how?
