• Add client side javascript code and ASP.Net validation on a asp.net button

  Hi all. Te question is how to add text to path element. For example, I have path: Path firstPath = new Path(); firstPath.Stroke = Brushes.Black; firstPath.StrokeThickness = 1; myCanvas.Children.Add(firstPath); LineGeometry firstLine = new LineGeometry(); firstPath.Data = firstLine; And somewhere I define line's Start and End point's. The path is binded to controls (for example - two ellipses) and when I drag one of them, the line is dynamically resized and moved to be pinned to both objects. And now I wand to add some text, that would fit to this line and follow it. Any recommendations how to do this?

• Oracle Schema Design: Seperate Schema with I/O Overhead?

  We are designing database schema for a new system based on Oracle 11gR1. We have identified a main schema which would have close to 100 tables, these will be accessed from the front end Java application. We have a requirement to audit the values which got changed in close to 50 tables, this has to be done every row. Which means, it is possible that, for a single row in MYSYS.T1 there might be 50 (or more) rows in MYSYS_AUDIT.T1_AUD table. We might be having old values of every column entry and new values available from T1. DBA gave an observation, advising against this method, because he said, separate schema meant an extra I/O for every operation. Basically AUDIT schema would be used only to do some analyse and enter values (thus SELECT and INSERT). Is it true that, "a separate schema means an extra I/O" ? I could not find justification. It appears logical to me, as the AUDIT data should not be tampered with, so a separate schema. Also, we designed a separate schema for archiving some tables from MYSYS. From MYSYS_ARC the table might be backed up into tapes or deleted after sufficient time. Few stats: Few tables (close to 20, 30) in MYSYS schema could grow to around 50M rows. We have asked for a total disk space of 4 TB. MYSYS_AUDIT schema might be having 10 times that of MYSYS but we wont keep them more than 3 months. Questions Given all these, can you suggest me any improvements? Separate schema affects disc I/O? (one extra I/O for every schema ?) Any general suggestions? • Linq to xml not able to add new elements

  We save our xml in a "text" field in the database. So first I check if it exist any xml, if not I create a new xdocument, fill it with the necessary xml. else i just add the new element.   I would like to add a prefix to each django comment form. I'm using multiply comment forms in the same page and depsite it's working well, i don't like having many input fields with the same id attribute like <input type="text" name="honeypot" id="id_honeypot" />. So, is there a way to tell django do add a prefix to each form instance? I know i can do it with other forms when i create a form instance in this waynewform = CustomForm(prefix="a") but using Django's comment system, this part is handled by a comment template tag {% get_comment_form for [object] as [varname] %}. Can I tell to the template tag to add a prefix?

  Hello im a newbie at using Drupal, and have come across a block in my progress. I have been using CCK to add new content types to my forms. I was wondering if there was any way to add to the form that is generated so that i may contain the elements and also insert visual html code like head rules etc. I have dabbled with the hook_form_alter() and it does not seem to help me in my efforts. Ive been through adjusting tpl.php files and such and have made no progress. Please if there is any one there in the inter-webs who is knowledgeable on this matter your advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is just an example of what I would want to do within the form: 1.   I am creating a WordPress site using Artisteer and various plugins to show off some photo galleries. I have also purchased a e-commerce WordPress theme that I have included as a subdirectory. In this theme they have a share button that I like the functionality of. I want to replicate the button in the front section of the site within the gallery pages. • How to add dimensions to dynamic img elements

  I use a Json call to get a list of image addresses, then I add them individually to a div like this. <div id="container"> <img src="A.jpg" alt="" /> <img src="B.jpg" alt="" /> ... </div> Unfortunately the image dimension is not part of the Json information but I do need them for later JQuery DOM interactivity. Do any of you JQuery geniuses know of a code that would flawlessly add the width and height to the individual image elements in the container after they load? I was thinking maybe the code could wait for the images to have a width bigger than 5px then add the new width and height to the element. But I wouldn't know how to go about that and make it work stably. Thank you so much!

• Can't Add LINQ to SQL classes to projects in VS2010

  I just ran into something in Visual Studio 2010 RC that wasn't previously happening (like, yesterday). No software changes here, but I did run into some muck yesterday when compiling that required a reboot. I am unable to add LINQ to SQL classes to any project through the add dialog. I have created ASP.NET web sites, ASP.NET MVC projects - both of these as 'templated' and as 'empty' - and there appear to be no templates installed or available. I have made sure that the project targets the 4.0 Framework. I can easily add a new database and the ADO.NET entity framework templates are there. As a workaround I can copy a DBML file to my project, delete all tables and sprocs, update the connection string and use the leftover shell (the designer works fine like this), but it's a pain. Has anyone else had their templates drop? Figured out how to reinstall them?

  Hey, I'm having trouble with a custom control and adding it dynamically using JQuery. I've got the following code: $('.custom_control_div').replaceWith( "<div><cc:mycustomcontrol id='cControl' ></cc:mycustomcontrol></div>" ); This doesn't throw any errors, but doesn't work because I need to use runat=server in my custom control. However, if I add runat=server in the code above, no javascript is executed on the page (and jqueryUI no longer works). The custom control works fine when I add it directly to the page from design-time. Is there a way to add a control, with runat=server using Jquery? Thanks

If I do this ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(BaseContentObject), new BaseContentObjectCommonPropertiesBinder()); then when in controller action parameter of type Tab appears, custom model binder is not fired. It gets fired if I do this: ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(Tab), new BaseContentObjectCommonPropertiesBinder()); But I don't want to go writing "n" number of Add statements in my global.asax.cs to associate all the derived classes with my custom model binder, do I? I don't know if I have any other option.

  ARGH Eclipse is SO frustrating I have a directory called c:\RemoteSrc . Under this there are 3 directories which are currently source folders (I think? the icon is an open folder with a little orange grid in it) in my Eclipse project. I have dropped a new directory under c:\RemoteSrc which I also want to add to my project. BUT If I right click on my project and go "Build Path..." - "Link Source" and try to add it it tells me "Folder already exists with a different case". Yes i KNOW that the folder already exists THATS WHY IM TRYING TO ADD IT.

• Add blank cell at end of UITable

  I'm trying to add an additional cell for custom content as the last cell in a tableView, without altering the dictionary that creates the other content of the table. I think the place to add it is in cellForRowAtIndexPath rather than adding one to the numberOfRowsInSection, which just crashes if I do. I get a cellCount from the dictionary that creates the data for the table, then in cellForRowAtIndexPath, I have: if (indexPath.row == cellCount) { ... stuff goes here return cell; } of course, this never gets called. If I do if (indexPath.row == cellCount -1) it overwrites the last cell with content. I can get this to work if I add a blank entry into the xml from which I am populating the dictionary, but that's ugly. Example code would be neat!

If the row is not there, add it to the result with Amt = 0. For example: - PJ00001 have 2 rows of type 1,2 in 2012 -- OK.   I am writing an Objective-C program that deals with low level image memory. I am using ANSI-C structs for my data storage -- Full blown objects seem overkill seeing as the data I am storing is 100% data, with no methods to operate on that data. Specifically, I am writing a customizable posterization algorithm which relies on an array of colors -- This is where things get tricky. I am storing my colors as structs of three floats, and an integer flag (related to the posterization algorithm specifically). Everyhting is going well, except for one thing... [actual question] I can't figure out how to add pointers to an NSMutableArray! I know how to add an object, but adding a pointer to a struct seems to be more difficult -- I do not want NSMutableArray dereferencing my pointer and treating the struct as some sort of strange object. I want NSMutableArray to add the pointer its self to its collection. How do I go about doing this? Thanks in advance, G

• VWD Express won't let me add one table!

  Sorry if this question is too trivial but I really haven't found any related questions and I am shaking too much to think logically. I spent like few hours waiting for SQL Server to finally install (you know, it's Microsoft) and now when I want to add new table to database it says "this feature is not supported by Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express". How could this happen? I mean, what's the point of even letting me use this if I can't even add one table to database, and I won't even know about it until I actually need to do it? Are they really serious or is it just some mistake? Is there any way to get around this problem? I need to create just one simple project with one small table in database but it won't let me, but I can't believe they could actually have nerves to make express edition without such a trivial function, so maybe I just made something wrong and there's actually some way to add this table? Sorry for being so whiny but I'm just fed up with this environment.

  I have this query: select acc_num from (select distinct ac_outer.acc_num, ac_outer.owner from ac_tab ac_outer where (ac_outer.owner = '1234567') and ac_outer.owner = (select sq.owner from (select a1.owner from ac_tab a1 where a1.acc_num = ac_outer.acc_num order by a1.a_date desc, a1.b_date desc, a1.c_date desc) sq where rownum = 1) order by dbms_random.value()) subq order by acc_num; The idea is to get all acc_nums (not a primary key) from ac_tab, that have an owner of 1234567. Since an acc_num in ac_tab could have changed owners over time, I am trying to use the inner correlated subqueries to ensure that an acc_num is returned ONLY if it's most recent owner is 12345678. Naturally, it doesn't work (or I wouldn't be posting here ;) ) Oracle gives me an error: ORA-000904 ac_outer.acc_num is an invalid identifier. I thought that ac_outer should be visible to the correlated subqueries, but for some reason it's not. Is there a way to fix the query, or do I have to resort to PL/SQL to solve this? (Oracle verison is 10g)

  Hello everybody, I have created an array with: var msg = new Array(); then, I have a function that add values to this array, this function is: function add(time, user, text){ var message = [time, user, text]; if (msg.length >= 50) msg.shift(); msg.push(message); } As you can see, if the array has 50 or more elements I remove the first with .shift(). Then I add an array as element. Ok, the code works perfectly, but now I have to loop the msg array to create a JSON obj. The JSON object should has this format: var obj = [ {'time' : time, 'user' : user, 'text' : text}, {'time' : time, 'user' : user, 'text' : text}, {'time' : time, 'user' : user, 'text' : text} ] I mean...i have to loop msg array and then store all the values inside the JSON object. I do not know how to "concatenate" the element of the array inside json obj. Could you help me? Thank you very much in advance!
