    Hi.I am trying to get day of names with and correct order like Monday ,Tuesday.. But in my table I have records that after Monday comes Friday or I have Thursday between two Tuesday .I want to order them like Monday ,Monday ,Tuesday ,Tuesday, Wednesday so on .But I don`t want to group them. I used this query but it does not make order select Day_Name from mydb.schedule where Room_NO=(510) And Week_NO =(1) it outputs Monday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Wednesday Tuesday Thursday Thursday Thursday how can I correct it?

  • Centralized way of organizing urls in Jersey?

    Forgive me if I am asking an obvious question (maybe I missed it in the docs somewhere?) but has anyone found a good way to organize their URLs in Jersey Java framework? I mean organizing them centrally in your Java source code, so that you can be sure there are not two classes that refer to the same Url. For example django has a really nice regex-based matching. I was thinking of doing something like an enum: enum Urls{ CARS ("cars"), CAR_INFO ("car", "{info}"); public Urls(String path, String args) ... } but you can imagine that gets out of hand pretty quickly if you have urls like: cars/1/wheels/3 where you need multiple path-ids interleaved with one another... Any tips?

    assume there are three group of high dimension vectors: {a_1, a_2, ..., a_N}, {b_1, b_2, ... , b_N}, {c_1, c_2, ..., c_N}. each of my vector can be represented as: x = a_i + b_j + c_k, where 1 <=i, j, k <= N. then the vector is encoded as (i, j, k) wich is then can be decoded as x = a_i + b_j + c_k. my question is, if there are two vector: x = (i_1, j_1, k_1), y = (i_2, j_2, k_2), is there a method to compute the euclidian distance of these two vector without decode x and y.

    Could you guys help me figuring out QuadCurveTo's 4 parameters , I tried to find information on http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/scene/shape/QuadCurveTo.html, but it's hard for me to understand without picture , I search on google about 'Quadratic Bezier' but it shows me more than 2 coordinates, I'm confused and blind now. I know those 4 parameters draw 2 lines to control the path , but how we know/count exactly which coordinates the object will throught by only knowing those 2 path-controller.     Hi again, I have the following tag included in my HTML which causes the JEditorPane not to show the HTML output. <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> Not so much a big deal but anyone know why this would happen? Cannot find too much documentation on this - best I came up with was someone having a go a few years ago to see what was supported on retro virus site.   • Are there design-time watch windows for Visual Studio 2008/2010?

    There are many times when I need to test a little snippet of .net code but rebuilding and publishing the entire project or writing a suite of unit tests just seems like overkill. For example, I am writing a regular expression right now and I want to see if it the pattern is matching on the right parts. I could go and find a million other utilities that do that sort of thing, but that is not exactly my point. FireBug has an exact analogue to what I want - the FireBug console. There is a text box where the user can enter some JavaScript and FireBug will execute it on the spot and display the return value. I would love to be able to enter something like (new Regex("b+")).Replace("abc", "x") and see the results without having to do all the overhead. Does VS have anything like this?

    Hi All, Was wondering if anyone had any smart approaches to creating dynamic vanity user urls upon user registration. My site basically uses emails as usernames. I have the regex to strip the text before the "@" symbol (e.g. "[email protected]" becomes "name") I would then like to take the "name" and create a vanity url (e.g. domain.com/name or name.domain.com) Any thoughts on how to accomplish this with Wordpress? I'm a pretty advanced Wordpress user and my first thoughts were to do the following Verify user registration Upon successful user registration create page name with username as the title (this would help me achieve the www.domain.com/username) Apply preset template to that page with the desired view Any and all thoughts are welcome.

    Is there a way to generate a group of routes under an admin scope without having to create a new physical directory (like namespace requires you to). I know that in Rails 3 there is a scope method on the route mapper, and this appears to do what I want, but apparently it doesn't exist in Rails 2.3.x My goal is to have a route like this: "/admin/products" map to "app/controllers/products_controller, not "app/controllers/admin/products_controller". Is there any way to accomplish this in Rails 2.3.x?

    I'm using Django with Google's App Engine. I want to send information to the server with percent encoded slashes. A request like http:/localhost/turtle/waxy%2Fsmooth that would match against a URL like r'^/turtle/(?P<type>([A-Za-z]|%2F)+)$'. The request gets to the server intact, but sometime before it is compared against the regex the %2F is converted into a forward slash. What can I do to stop the %2Fs from being converted into forward slashes? Thanks!

To clarify the difference between autocomplete and suggestion: autocomplete: foo [foobar, foobaz] suggestion: foo [barfoo, foobar, foobaz], or even better, with 'did you mean' feature: [barfoo, foobar, foobaz, fobar, fobaz] I suppose I need some full text search in tags (all letters indexed, not just words). There would be no problem to do it witch regex or other patterns for limited number of tags (even client side). But how to implement this feature for big number of tags? Is there any particular reason (besides URL) the tags on SO are dash separated? What about Unicode characters in tags? I store the tags in the table with the following columns: id, tagname.     I'm using PHP to scrape a website and collect some data. It's all done without using regex. I'm using php's explode() method to find particular HTML tags instead. It is possible that if the structure of the website changes (CSS, HTML), then wrong data may be collected by the scraper. So the question is - how do I know if the HTML structure has changed? How to identify this before storing any data to my database to avoid wrong data being stored.
