  Hey guys, I am trying to make an xml file to export my data from my database to my iphone. Each time I create a new post, I need to execute a php file to create a xml file containing the latest post ;) Okay so far ? :D Here is current php code ... but my nsxmlparser gives me an error code (33 - String is not started). • NO FBML is working in iframe in facebook using PHP (ie or ff or anywhere else!)

  I have tried for three days now and gotten nowhere on this.... I absolutely can not get any "fb:" code to render anything! I've tried the exact code in the sandbox and it works fine. I've read through every search result I could find and gotten nowhere... • Wrangling Control of HTTP Headers in ASP.NET

  I'm working with ASP.NET MVC3, and I'm trying to get absolute control over my headers because a client application that I'm working with expects a very specific content type. What I'm finding when using Fiddler to examine the HTTP traffic is that the text encoding is being returned as part of the header. For example, the client is expecting application/appname in the Content-Type header, but the server is returning application/appname; charset=utf-8. I think the client is using a strict comparison for checking the type, so I want to be able to specify exactly what is emitted in the headers. Right now I have a custom ActionResult in which I clear the headers and then specify only the content type, but the encoding still seems to be added on. How can I remove the encoding from the Content-Type header?

  When I kick off a python script from within another python script using the subprocess module, a zombie process is created when the subprocess "completes". I am unable to kill this subprocess unless I kill my parent python process. Is there a way to kill the subprocess without killing the parent? I know I can do this by using wait(), but I need to run my script with no_wait().

How are you? <script>//NOT EVIL!</script> Wassup? <img class="smiley" alt="" title="tongue, :P" src="ui/emoticons/15.gif"> LOOOL!!! <img class="smiley" alt="" title="big grin, :D" src="ui/emoticons/5.gif"> <img class="smiley" alt="" title="big grin, :P" src="ui/emoticons/5.gif"> <img class="smiley" alt="" title="big grin, :P" src="ui/emoticons/5.gif"> I have a function that escapes HTML entites to prevent XSS. So running it on raw input for the first line would produce: Hi! How are you? &lt;script&gt;//NOT EVIL!&lt;/script&gt; Now I need to escape all the input, but at the same time I need to preserve emoticons in their initial state. So when there is <:-P emoticon, it stays like that and does not become &lt;:-P. I was thinking of running a regex split on the emotified text. Then processing each part on its own and then concatenating the string together, but I am not sure how easily can Regex be bypassed? I know the format will always be this: [<img class="smiley" alt="] [empty string] [" title="] [one of the values from a big list] [, ] [another value from the list (may be matching original emoticon)] [" src="ui/emoticons/] [integer from Y to X] [.gif">] Using the list MAY be slow, since I need to run that regex on text that may have 20-30-40 emoticons. Plus there may be 5-10-15 text messages to process. What could be an elegant solution to this? I am ready to use third-party library or jQuery for this. PHP preprocessing is possible as well.

  My current project involves gathering text content from an element and all of its descendents, based on a provided selector. For example, when supplied the selector #content and run against this HTML: <div id="content"> <p>This is some text.</p> <script type="text/javascript"> var test = true; </script> <p>This is some more text.</p> </div> my script would return (after a little whitespace cleanup): This is some text. var test = true; This is some more text. However, I need to disregard text nodes that occur within <script> elements. This is an excerpt of my current code: // get text content of all matching elements for (x = 0; x < selectors.length; x++) { matches = Sizzle(selectors[x], document); for (y = 0; y < matches.length; y++) { match = matches[y]; if (match.innerText) { // IE content += match.innerText + ' '; } else if (match.textContent) { // other browsers content += match.textContent + ' '; } } } It's a bit overly simplistic in that it just returns all text nodes within the element (and its descendants) that matches the provided selector. The solution I'm looking for would return all text nodes except for those that fall within script elements. It doesn't need to be especially high-performance, but I do need it to ultimately be cross-browser compatible. I'm assuming that I'll need to somehow loop through all children of the element that matches the selector and accumulate all text nodes other than ones within <script> elements; it doesn't look like there's any way to identify JavaScript once it's already rolled into the string accumulated from all of the text nodes. I can't use jQuery (for performance/bandwidth reasons), although you may have noticed that I do use its Sizzle selector engine, so jQuery's selector logic is available. • Can't print elements in a DIV tag

  I am using a Drag-able and re-sizeable DIV's in this HTML file. Where the user will place the DIV tag to his desired place in a main parent DIV tag. Now I want to print this main DIV tag, but the problem is that the code which I'm using to PRINT this main DIV is printing in a sequence, like not the way user has arranged the DIV's. Also it doesn't take up the main DIV background IMAGE. here is the code. • Safe way to set computed environment variables

  I have a bash script that I am modifying to accept key=value pairs from stdin. (It is spawned by xinetd.) How can I safely convert those key=value pairs into environment variables for subprocesses? I plan to only allow keys that begin with a predefined prefix "CMK_", to avoid IFS or any other "dangerous" variable getting set. But the simplistic approach function import () { local IFS="=" while read key val; do case "$key" in CMK_*) eval "$key=$val";; esac done } is horribly insecure because $val could contain all sorts of nasty stuff. This seems like it would work: shopt -s extglob function import () { NORMAL_IFS="$IFS" local IFS="=" while read key val; do case "$key" in CMK_*([a-zA-Z_]) ) IFS="$NORMAL_IFS" eval $key='$val' IFS="=" ;; esac done } but (1) it uses the funky extglob thing that I've never used before, and (2) it's complicated enough that I can't be comfortable that it's secure. My goal, to be specific, is to allow key=value settings to pass through the bash script into the environment of called processes. It is up to the subprocesses to deal with potentially hostile values getting set. I am modifying someone else's script, so I don't want to just convert it to Perl and be done with it. I would also rather not change it around to invoke the subprocesses differently, something like #!/bin/sh ...start of script... perl -nle '($k,$v)=split(/=/,$_,2); $ENV{$k}=$v if $k =~ /^CMK_/; END { exec("subprocess") }' ...end of script...

  Hello, I have an HTML table. It looks as follows: <table> <tr> <td>Content one</td> <td rowspan="2"> Very long content right</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Content two</td> </tr> </table> As you see, I have some very long content on the right side of the table, actually, it is so long that it does not fit into what height is given by the table rows, and so the table gets higher, and by doing that, the contents one and two are no longer at the top of the table, but distribute themselves along the whole height. How can I stop them from doing this?

I tried <Files ~ "\.inc\.php$"> Order deny,allow Deny from all </Files> and RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} \.inc\.php RewriteRule .* - [F,L,NS] They both prevent users from viewing /myscript.inc.php?s=blah but they also cause /script-blah to return 403... Is there a way to do this correctly?

  Hello, I have a big problem. I use additional controls for Wpf. One of them is Telerik RadWindow This control is already templated. Now I want to create custom Window with will inherit from RadWindow, and make custom template, eg. One base window will contains grid and two buttons, second base window will contain two grids (master - detail). The problem is that templates do not support inheritance. Perhaps is another way to template only the content of Winodow? • Share a "deep link" from a Windows 8/WinRT application

  I have searched using many different terms and phrases, and waded through many pages of results, but I have (remarkably) not seen anyone else addressing, even asking, about, this issue. So here goes... Ultimate Goal: Allow a user viewing a content-based page (may contain both text and images) within a Windows Store app to share that content with someone else. Description I am working on taking a fair amount of content and making it available for browsing/navigating as a Windows 8/WinRT/Windows Store (we need a consistent name here) application. One of the desired features is to take advantage of the Share Charm, such that someone viewing a page could share that page with someone else. The ideal behavior is for the application to implement the Share Source contract which would share an email message that contained some explanatory text, a link to get the app from the Windows Store, and a "deep link" into the shared page in the application. Solutions Considered We had originally looked at just generating a PDF representation of the page, but there are very few external libraries that would work under WinRT, and having to include externally licensed code would be problematic as well. Writing our own PDF generation code would out of scope. We have also considered generating a Word document or PowerPoint slide using OpenXML, but again, we run up against the limitaions of WinRT. In this case, it is highly unlikely the OpenXML SDK is useable in a WinRT application. Another thought was to pre-generate all of the pages as .pdf files, store them as resources, and when the Share Charm is invoked, share the .pdf file associated with the current page. The problem here is the application will have at least 150 content pages, and depending on how we break the content down, up to over 600. This would likely cause serious bloat. Where We Are At Thus we have come to sharing URIs. From what I can tell, though, the "deep linking" feature is only intended for use on Secondary Tiles tied to your application. Another avenue I considered was registering a protocol like, "my-special-app:" with the OS and having it fire up the application but that would require HKCR registry access, which is outside the WinRT sandbox. If it matters, we are leaning towards an HTML/JS application, rather than XAML/C#, because the converted content will all be in HTML and the WebView control in WinRT is fairly limited. This decision is not yet final, though. Conclusion So, is this possible, and if so, how would it be done or where can I find documentation on it? Thanks, Dave Parker

  Hi, I am trying to do this regex match and replace but not able to do it. Example <SPAN class="one">first content here</SPAN> <SPAN class="two">second content here </SPAN> <SPAN class="three">one; two; three; and more.</span> <SPAN class="four">more content here.</span> I want to find each set of the span tags and replace with something like this Find <SPAN class="one">first content here</SPAN> Change to <one>first content here</one> same way the the rest of the span tags. class="one", class="two" and so on are the only key identifier which I use in the regex match expression. So if I find a span tag with these class then I want to do the replace. My main issue is that I am not able to find the occurrence of first closing tag so what it does is it finds from the start to end which is of no use. So far I have been trying to do this using notepad++ but just found that it has its limitations so any php help would be appreciated. regards

• Prevent lazy loading in nHibernate

  Hi, I'm storing some blobs in my database, so I have a Document table and a DocumentContent table. Document contains a filename, description etc and has a DocumentContent property. I have a Silverlight client, so I don't want to load up and send the DocumentContent to the client unless I explicity ask for it, but I'm having trouble doing this. I've read the blog post by Davy Brion. I have tried placing lazy=false in my config and removing the virtual access modifier but have had no luck with it as yet. Every time I do a Session.Get(id), the DocumentContent is retrieved via an outer join. I only want this property to be populated when I explicity join onto this table and ask for it. Any help is appreciated. • Download attachment issue with IE6-8 - non ssl

  I'm facing an issue with file download with IE6-8 in non ssl environment. I've seen a lot of articles about the IE attachment download issue with ssl. As per the articles I tried to set the values of Pragma, Cache-Control headers, but still no luck with it. These are my response headers Cache-Control: private, max-age=5 Date: Tue, 25 May 2010 11:06:02 GMT Pragma: private Content-Length: 40492 Content-Type: application/pdf Content-Disposition: Attachment;Filename="file name.pdf" Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1 I've set the header values after going through some of these sites KB 812935 KB 316431 But these items are related to SSL. I've checked the response body and headers using fiddler, the response body is proper. I'm using window.open(url, "_blank") to download the file, if I change it to window.open(url, "_parent") or change the "Content-Disposition" to 'inline;Filename="file name.pdf"' it works fine. Please help me to solve this problem

  I've a file with xml data. And I want to generate a report out of it. I tried to integrate xsl with java script, but can I get a handle of individual data elements in xsl and pass it on to a java script function. Lets say <value>true</value> is in the xml and I want to pass it on to a javascript function while doing something like this in xsl. <xsl:for-each select="/valgroup"> <xsl:value-of select="value"/> </xsl:for-each> The alternative is to parse the xml in java script and get the values, I've got little idea of how to integrate it with xsl. Are there any java script libraries. I've seen my libraries that run on servers(AJAXSLT), but I need something that runs locally. I'm a new to xslt, so consider this a worthy question.

• Sql Server copying table information between databases

  Hi, I have a script that I am using to copy data from a table in one database to a table in another database on the same Sql Server instance. The script works great when I am connected to the Sql Server instance as myself as I have dbo access to both databases. The problem is that this won't be the case on the client's Sql Server. They have seperate logins for each database (Sql Authentication Logins). Does anyone know if there is a way to run a script under these circumstances.   I'm trying to build a really simple generic toggle functionality where the toggling "switch" has a class of .toggle and then I want it to toggle() the next element that has the class .toggle-content. Example HTML: <p> <a href="#" class="toggle">Toggle the thing</a> </p> <p class="toggle-content hidden">I'm totally hidden right now</p> So right now I'd toggle that with: $(".toggle").click(function() { $(this).parent().next('.toggle-content').toggle(); }); The problem is if the .toggle class is any deeper in the DOM, I have to keep tacking on more parent()'s depending on how deep it is/isn't. So how can I just select the next instance of .toggle-content without having use a bunch of parent()'s and next()'s?
