  I have a GWT app that when launched it takes you to a page with just a menu. So as a shortcut type thing I would like the users to be able to go straight to the page they want. So if the default start page is x, the should be able to say x/add and it will take them to the add page. How would I get that in gwt? Do I need a bunch of different entry points?

• Mako templates use old version until I manually update template files

  I periodically get this problem where all of a sudden mako is using old versions of templates, and it's not until I manually go and update the template files that they'll use the current version. I'm using ./manage.py runserver I think it's usually after I update using source control, but it's intermittent, and I can't reliably reproduce the problem.

• Getting XML data from a external page and parsing it with PHP

  I'm trying to create a database of World of Warcraft gems. If I go to this page: http://www.wowarmory.com/search.xml?fl[source]=all&fl[type]=gems&fl[subTp]=purple&searchType=items And go to View Source in Firefox, I see a tonne of XML data which is exactly what I want. I think file_get_contents() is bringing back data that isn't XML, maybe some Javascript files judging by the iPhone parts in the errors. Is there any way to just get back the XML from that page? • BuddyPress: Stop overriding default parameters passed to the template loop?

  How do I stop BP from overriding default parameters passed to the template loop? For example, on the Activity page, let's say you want BP to "forget" the user's last viewed parameter (like "My Forums" or "@user Mentions") and go right back to All Members or My Friends every time you reload the page. I tried deleting the contents of ajax.php and global.js, and the overriding behavior still happens. Where do I look next?

  I downloaded the .NET 4 framework from miscrosoft here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992&displaylang=en I installed and rebooted. When I go to compile options -- target framework... .NET 4 isn't on the list. Is .net 4 not compatible with VS2008? It would be nice if Microsoft stated that somewhere...
