  • php + upload.class + not overwriting the image

    Hi, i am trying to upload a file with upload.class and i need to overwrite the file when the user upload a new one. But instead of overwriting, he is putting photo_01, photo_02, etc...   • Looking for Opinions and Sugestions on my Website. (General Question)

    I am looking for general opinions and suggestions about the site in whole. Its ok I don't mind hearing where I went wrong on anything. I'm still learning. All tips and pointers on any subject relating are highly welcome. If you are going to make a suggestion and post a snippet or code please explain how it works in detail. The site was design as a interface to display the labs I have to do in my college (the labs are all basic things that I'm way beyond). So I decided to take it all to the next level with this. The link is http://opentech.durhamcollege.ca/~intn2201/brittains/labs/ It is 100% designed by me with the exception of the icons. (I could not think of anything better to draw) There is no specific area of the site I want suggestions or opinions on this is a general question.   • Is it possible to have an enum field in a class persisted with OrmLite?

I'm trying to persist the following class with OrmLite: public class Field { @DatabaseField(id = true) public String name; @DatabaseField(canBeNull = false) public FieldType type; public Field() { } } The FieldType is a public enum. The field, corresponding to the type is string in SQLite (is doesn't support enums).   • Border coming around hyperlinked images

    There is a blue border coming around the hyperlinked images in Firefox. However, no such border can be seen on Chrome. Have a look at http://windchimes.co.in/index_w%20-%20Copy.html The icons have a blue border on firefox but no in chrome. what can be the reason and how do i remove the colored border?

Lets say, CLASSA has a delegate defined: @protocol MyDelegate -(void) didFinishUploading; @end In CLASSB I create an instance of CLASS A -(void) doPost { CLASSA *uploader = [[CLASSA alloc] init]; uploader.delegate = self; // this means CLASSB has to implement the delegate uploader.post; } and also in CLASSB: -(void)didFinishUploding { } So when do I have to release the uploader? Because when I release it in doPost, it is not valid anymore in didFinishUploading. Thanks

  • Responsive grid, floated elements move underneath one another when min-width is reached

One contains an image which resizes with the browser resizing. The image has a min-width of 100px. Can anyone tell me why when put into a mobile sized width it doesn't drop down?     I am getting the exception: The type initializer for 'my class' threw an exception. in my browser after running my web application. Since this seems to be an error message generated from the view (.aspx), there is no way I can see the stack trace or any log for the source of this error. I have read a bit around the net and one solution to debugging is to throw a TypeInitializationException and then looking at the inner exception to find out what was wrong. How can I do this when I don't know where to surround code with a try/catch ?

  • Making "helper" text in a form be a different color then typed text.

The main one is I would like the helper text (in this case "Phone Number") to be a different color then the inputted text from the user, to make it easier for the user to differentiate between filled and unfilled fields. The second is that with this methodology (onfocus="value''") if you mistype something in a field and come back to it you have to retype the whole thing which isn't really acceptable.

Which means, I might have some overflow. How can I display the image so that it keeps porpotions to the original image size, yet displayed inside a 200x150 px window and hiding any overflow?

  • One page of responsive site is blurry/fuzzy on iphone

    Here's a weird one. I'm developing a responsive site here: http://74.209.178.54:3000/index.html There are three pages built so far: the home page, the "Why" page, and the "Pricing" page. The Home and Why pages are just fine on my iPhone 4. The "Pricing" page is really blurry. And I don't just mean the images are blurry - absolutely everything is blurry: text, borders, backgrounds... Has anyone seen this before? Do you know what's happening?
