    I am trying to create my own class of dictionary in python 3 which has a field of dict variable and setitem and getitem methods. Though, it doesnt work for some reason. Tried to look around but couldn't find the answer. class myDictionary: def __init(self): self.myDic={} def __setitem__(self, key, value): self.myDic[key]=value I'm getting: 'myDictionary' object has no attribute 'myDic' Any ideas? :)

    Currently im just using something like: in the DB Table: access: home,register,login and then in each page: if(!Functions::has_rights('content')) { Functions::noAccess(); } is there more efficient way to do it, php & MySQL? i may want to gain access even to several parts a page, for example: user can read a page, but doesnt comment to it, and I dont want to build a separate system to each module.     I'm having trouble enabling push notifications. with this code I try to enable the notification: - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions { [[UIApplication sharedApplication] registerForRemoteNotificationTypes:(UIRemoteNotificationType)(UIRemoteNotificationTypeBadge | UIRemoteNotificationTypeSound | UIRemoteNotificationTypeAlert)]; return YES; } It doesnt work, so I added a breakpoint in the line [[UIApplication sharedApplication] registerForRemoteNotificationTypes:(UIRemoteNotificationType)(UIRemoteNotificationTypeBadge | UIRemoteNotificationTypeSound | UIRemoteNotificationTypeAlert)]; But it seems this part of the code is never execute. why is this not working?

    If you look at the top right you'll see on a radar an enemy unit line of sight. I was wondering what is the most efficient or easiest way (little code, fairly accurate. doesnt need to be perfect) to detect if something is in your line of sight? I may or may not need to render it (i likely wont). I dont know the formula nor used any math libs/namespaces in C#

    How can i acces an Array Element in Smarty with a second variable as index? Imagine i have an array of language [99] = Array ( [language] = English ) I tryed this : $memberLanguage.id is 99 so logicaly you would acces it this way {$language.$memberLanguage.id.language} but this doesnt work. in PHP i would do it this way $language[$memberLanguage['id']]['language'] How can i access the Array Element Dynamicaly?

    I have a bunch of input text boxes that have the attribute ORIGINAL set to their initial value, so that when the user changes the textbox value, jQuery can highlight items that have changed (by comparing the text box's current value to the ORIGINAL attribute's value) What Im trying to do now is provide the user with a button that they can click to revert all text boxes back to their original values based on the value of the ORIGINAL attribute of each text box. Example $('input[type=text]').val($(this).attr('original')); The above doesnt work and I dont understand why.

    Hi all, I have some files that in windows enable me to prompt messages when a device is plugged. In case it is lost it pops up a message that says the user to please return it to he owner. Does anybody know how can I do this in Linux? I doesnt need to be a complex thing, it can be an option in a right clic menu, or a splashcreen, or anything, just to make sure that the owner of the device may be looking for it.

    Hi i tried to implement a servlet with servlet (in tomcat 6) which act as as a proxy (for browser), it takes the parsed url, use apache httpclient to get the result & push it back to the client (browser), with http it works well, doesnt work with https , seems the problem concerns unsupported CONNECT method in servlet-api & servlet even doesn't see the request is there any solution/workaround for this? thanx in advanced

    I want to display the linklist widget only on a certain category. The current way the sidebar is fetched is: if (!function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') || !dynamic_sidebar(1)) Which doesnt give me a say in the calling of the links widget. If i put an if clause there, then the rest of the widgets dont get loaded. So i either need to customize the links widget it self or find a way to call the links widget directly? And how do i check which category i'm on?

However, i need to filter display on gridview so i have to change the datasource of the gridview on the code behind. It works fine.. i mean the filtering and displaying is good but paging and sorting doesnt work. Did you have a problem something like this?

    I am grabbing the last rowid and i am doing this select @@IDENTITY pk = (long)cmd.ExecuteScalar(); I get an invalid typecast bc this is int instead of long. Why doesnt this return a long? can i make it return long? Solution for now is to use pk = Convert.ToInt64(cmd.ExecuteScalar());

Loader::loadZend // loads all zend libraries Loader::loadSymfony // loads all symfony components if i include a file in a method, does this become globally available? it seems that it doesnt work. maybe i have done something wrong, or is there a workaround for this? thanks
