• Edit Settings in web.config

  I didn't know how to title this question - I am making a request to PayPal's Express Payment API. I am using their dll that helps make the request and parse the response. The instructions for their code to work is to add you authorization credentials in the web.config file. I have done so. My problem is that I want to be able to edit these credentials that are being set dynamically ( probably get from SQL ) because we are going to allow different users to enter their API credentials. Sending the request to PayPal looks like this Dim wrapper As New SetExpressCheckoutReq() wrapper.SetExpressCheckoutRequest = request Dim service As New PayPalAPIInterfaceServiceService() Dim setECResponse As SetExpressCheckoutResponseType = service.SetExpressCheckout(wrapper) There's not much room in there to edit the header of the request , because PayPalAPIInterfaceServiceService() is defined in their dll and applies its own header based on the credentials in the web.config. So, my question is , is there a way to point in the web.config to another location when it looks in web.config? I'm not to sure this is possible , also is there any way to edit the header of a request that is defined in a dll without changing the dll (to stay pci compliant) The line in the web.config is here: <account apiUsername="****" apiPassword="****" apiSignature="****"/>

• Can't get findnext property of range class error

  I am trying to parse a report in Excel 2007. It is basically a report of accounting charge exceptions. The report has sections with a header for each type of exception. There are types of exceptions that are deleted from the report. I'm using a Do While loop to find each header and if the section needs to be deleted I have it do so. If nothing needs to be deleted the code works fine, but right after a section is deleted I get an "Unable to get the FindNext property of the Range Class" error.   I have heaps of free text news docs in one big file. The structure of each news doc is like: (Header line) Category, Doc1, Date (day, month, year) (body text) ... ... ... (Header line) Category, Doc2, Date (day, month, year) (body text) ... ... ... If I extract each doc from the big file, it costs too much time and not efficient. Therefore, I decide to read the file line by line and feed information to lucene the same time. I write c# code to index each doc to lucene like: Streamreader sr = new Streamreader(file); string line = ""; while((line = sr.ReadLine()) != null) { How can I tell this line is a doc header line from text line and get the metadata and all the text lines of a doc for lucene to index.   Hi, I'm developing a game. I have a header GameSystem (just methods like the game loop, no class) with two variables: int mouseX and int mouseY. These are updated in my game loop. Now I want to access them from Game.cpp file (a class built by a header-file and the source-file). So, I #include "GameSystem.h" in Game.h. After doing this I get a lot of compile errors. When I remove the include he says of course: Game.cpp:33: error: ‘mouseX’ was not declared in this scope Game.cpp:34: error: ‘mouseY’ was not declared in this scope Where I want to access mouseX and mouseY. All my .h files have Header Guards, generated by Eclipse. I'm using SDL and if I remove the lines that wants to access the variables, everything compiles and run perfectly (*). • c++ push_back doesn't work as it is supposed

• LNK4221 and LNK4006 Warnings!

  Hi, I basically making a static library of my own. I have taken my code which works and now put it into a static library for another program to use. In my library I am using another static library which I don't want the people who will be using my API to know. Since, I want to hide that information from them I can't tell them to install the other static library. Anyway, I used the command line Lib.exe to extract and create a smaller lib file of just the obj's I used. However, I get a bunch of "LNK4006 :second definition ignored" linker warnings for each obj I use followed by "LNK4221 no public symbols found;archive member will be inaccessible". I am doing this work in vs2008 and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using the #pragma comment line in my .cpp file I have also modified the librarian to add my smaller .lib along with its location. my code simply makes calls to a couple functions which it should be able to get from those Obj file in the smaller lib. All my functions are implemented in .cpp file and my header just have the includes of the third party header files and come standard c++ header files. nothing fancy. I have actually no function definitions in there atm. I was going to put the API definition in there and implement that in the .cpp for this static lib that i was going to make. However, I just wanted to build my code before I added more to it. s Any help would be appreciated. is this a vs2008 configuration issue? or a program issue I am not sure. thanks for the help!

In the while loop, I was expecting the TakeWhile to add the bytes that did not equal the footer part of the message. Note: Since I am removing the bytes after reading them, the header can always be expected to be at position '0'. I searched examples for splitting byte arrays, but non demonstrated splitting on arrays of unknown and fluctuating sizes. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks much!

  I am currently working on a site that requires a footer to be placed either at the bottom of the window, or the bottom of the page content, whichever is lower. I have tried using the height: 100% method, but this causes a problem. I also have a position: fixed header, and some padding on my content (defined in pixels). Also, the height of the content may change after the page has loaded (use of accordions, etc.), so I wonder if there's a pure CSS way to position the footer to either the bottom of the window, or the bottom of the document, while still allowing pixel padding and so forth. Here's an outlined structure of the HTML: <header></header> <div class="content"> <footer></footer> </div> I have also put together a Fiddle to demonstrate how the CSS works at the moment: http://jsfiddle.net/LY6Zs/. • jQuery Code Only Fires On Hard Refresh?

  The XFBML version of the Facebook Registration plugin only loads HTTPS. I need it to load HTTP so my form does not call a security error mismatch between domains. I wrote this code to get the SRC and rewrite it with out HTTPS It works fine on the first load, however on Chrome and Safari it only loads the first time and on HARD refreshes. It does not load on standard reloads or by pressing "enter" on the address bar.   I am trying to make a div that contains other floating divs to adjust its width such that adding more floating divs (dynamically using jQuery) will only expand the div in its width, not allowing the floating divs to create a new line. Therefore, I want to fix this issue such that each div with class grid-row only expands in width, and so I will be able to scroll using the overflow: scroll for the parent grid div. I have searched a lot for answers, and it seems that it is a famous issue. However, non of the answer solved my problem.   I am using visual studio 2005 c#, and doing server side coding. I have a list of checkboxes in my gridview via checkbox template. I have tried to assign a checkbox in my header template, and assigned a checkbox_checkchange method to make it such that when the checkbox at the header is checked, the list of checkboxes in the template will be checked as well. However, it does not work and I am not able to spot the mistake. • What is an efficient way to serve images (PHP)?

  Hey guys currently I am thinking of serving images using an image handler script. I have two sources of images. One is from my web images folder where images that are used to construct my site interface are served. The other is in each users images folder where they can store their own images. I was thinking of giving each user image a unique id and then searching that id with the image handler script and serving the image, and changing the file name. The problem is that my site images folder does not have any information in the database and thus has no ids, should I just serve directly? Also this way of serving user images does not seem like the most efficient. • How to arrange HTML5 web page elements?

  I'm trying to make a sample web page to get acquainted with HTML5, and I'd like to try replicating Facebook's page layout; that is, the header that spans the entire width of the screen, a small footer at the bottom, and a three-column main body, consisting of a list of links on the left, the main content in the middle, and an optional section on the right (for ads, frames, etc.). It's neat and displays well in multiple window sizes. So far, I've tried to accomplish this with a <header>, <footer> and a <nav> and <section> block, respectively. There's a few anomalies with the page, however. The footer (which contains a simple text block with copyright info) appears at the top-right of the page below the header when the window is maximized. On the other hand, when there isn't enough space to display everything in the window, it places the main body text below the section. In other words, it keeps moving elements around to fit the window. Could someone please tell me how I'd achieve the look I'm going for? I've tried playing around with a few CSS attributes I read about through Google, but I'm pretty sure I don't know what I'm doing, and could really use some guidance. Thank you!
