  I am learning how to write test cases using Rspec. I have a simple Post Comments Scaffold where a Post can have many Comments. I am testing this using Rspec. How should i go about checking for Post :has_many :comments. Should I stub Post.comments method and then check this with by returning a mock object of array of comment objects? Is testing for AR associations really required ?

  What is a good way to represent a collection of bits? I have a set of various on/off toggles (thousands of them) and need to store and retrieve their state. The naïve implementation would be an array of booleans, but I'm wondering if there's a better way (better in terms of access speed and/or memory requirements). I've found this BitArray implementation, but it's limited to 32 bits, which is not enough for this case.

• How to get the top keys from a hash by value

  I have a hash that I sorted by values greatest to least. How would I go about getting the top 5? There was a post on here that talked about getting only one value. What is the easiest way to get a key with the highest value from a hash in Perl? I understand that so would lets say getting those values add them to an array and delete the element in the hash and then do the process again? Seems like there should be an easier way to do this then that though.   I'm developing a web application and I run Jetty as the development and testing environment when I develop under Eclipse. When I make changes to Java classes, Eclipse automatically compiles them to the build directory, but Jetty won't see the changes until I stop and start the server. I know that Jetty supports "hot deployment" using ContextDeployer that will refresh updated application contexts, but it relies on a context file in a context directory being updated - which is not very useful in my case. Is there a way to set up Jetty so that it will reload the web app when any of the classes it uses is updated?
