  • Problem in enabling mod_rewrite in Ubuntu.

    - by Rajan
    Hi, I am trying to change from windows to linux server. And for that i am trying to enable mod_write in ubuntu. I have taken all the necessary steps to enable the mod_rewrite as mod_rewrite is displayed under loaded modules. I have set all the permissions for the .htacess file. But for some reason the rewrite does not appear to be working in the linux server. It was working fine while i was using the same code in windows server. Can anyone please help me in this issue. Your help will be really appreciated. Thanks. Rajan.

  • Mysql query - problem with order by

    - by Sergio
    I'm using two tables for selecting messages between users. Table "messages" for recording the messages and table "members" for checking users data (are they activ or deleted). This query working fine. What I need to do is list the received messsages order by last received. I tried to do with "ORDER BY messages.id DESC" at the end of this query but it didn't work. All messages are listed from first received. This is the mysql join table query that I'm using: sql = "select distinct messages.fromid, messages.readed, messages.fromid, messages.toid, members.id as pid From messages Inner Join members on members.id = messages.fromid Where messages.toid = ".$mid." AND members.status = 7 AND messages.kreaded !='1' AND messages.subject != 'readed' GROUP BY fromid" Is there any way to do this?

  • Problem in passing arrays from C# to C++

    - by Rakesh K
    Hi, I have an application in which I need to pass an array from C# to a C++ DLL. What is the best method to do it? I did some search on Internet and figured out that I need to pass the arrays from C# using ref. The code for the same: status = IterateCL(ref input, ref output); The input and output arrays are of length 20. and the corresponding code in C++ DLL is IterateCL(int *&inArray, int *&outArray) This works fine for once. But if I try to call the function from C# in a loop the second time, the input array in C# is showing up as an array of one element. Why is this happening and please help me how I can call this function iteratively from C#. Thanks, Rakesh.

  • problem using the xsl method for-each

    - by joe
    Using XSL I am trying to turn this XML: <book><title>This is a <b>great</b> book</title></book> into this XML: <book>This is a great book</book> using this xsl: <xsl:for-each select="book/title/*"> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="name() = 'b'"> <xsl:value-of select="text()"/> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:value-of select="text()"/> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:for-each> but my output is looking like this: <book>great Can anyone explain why the root text of <title> is getting lost? I believe my for-each select statement may need to be modified but I can't figure out what is should be. Keep in mind that I cannot use an <xsl:template match> because of the complexity of my style sheet. Thanks!

  • Javascript problem with iframe that's hidden before loaded

    - by Aistina
    I have a page that contains an iframe that gets loaded using Javascript: index.html <iframe id="myFrame" width="800" height="600" style="display: none;"></iframe> <div id="loader"><!-- some loading indicator --></div> <script type="text/javascript"> function someFunction() { var myFrame = document.getElementById('myFrame'); var loader = document.getElementById('loader'); loader.style.display = 'block'; myFrame.src = 'myFrame.html'; myFrame.onload = function() { myFrame.style.display = 'block'; loader.style.display = 'none'; }; } </script> The page that gets loaded in the iframe contains some Javascript logic which calculates the sizes of certain elements for the purposes of adding a JS driven scrollbar (jScrollPane + jQuery Dimensions). myFrame.html <div id="scrollingElement" style="overflow: auto;"> <div id="several"></div> <div id="child"></div> <div id="elements"></div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).load(function() { $('#scrollingElement').jScrollPane(); }); </script> This works in Chrome (and probably other Webkit browsers), but fails in Firefox and IE because at the time jScrollPane gets called, all the elements are still invisble and jQuery Dimensions is unable to determine any element's dimensions. Is there a way to make sure my iframe is visible before $(document).ready(...) gets called? Other than using setTimeout to delay jScrollPane, which is something I definitely want to avoid.

  • forms problem in django 1.1

    - by alexarsh
    I have the following form: class ModuleItemForm2(forms.ModelForm): class Meta: model = Module_item fields = ('title', 'media', 'thumb', 'desc', 'default', 'player_option') The model is: class Module_item(models.Model): title = models.CharField(max_length=100) layout = models.CharField(max_length=5, choices=LAYOUTS_CHOICE) media = models.CharField(help_text='Media url', max_length=500, blank=True, null=True) conserv = models.ForeignKey(Conserv, help_text= 'Redirect to Conserv', blank=True, null=True) conserve_section = models.CharField(max_length=100, help_text= 'Section within the redirected Conserv', blank=True, null=True) parent = models.ForeignKey('self', help_text='Upper menu.', blank=True, null=True) module = models.ForeignKey(Module, blank=True, null=True) thumb = models.FileField(upload_to='sms/module_items/thumbs', blank=True, null=True) desc = models.CharField(max_length=500, blank=True, null=True) auto_play = models.IntegerField(help_text='Auto start play (miliseconds)', blank=True, null=True) order = models.IntegerField(help_text='Display order', blank=True, null=True) depth = models.IntegerField(help_text='The layout depth', blank=True, null=True) flow_replace = models.IntegerField(blank=True, null=True) default = models.IntegerField(help_text='The selected sub item (Note: Starting from 0)', blank=True, null=True) player_options = models.CharField(max_length=1000, null=True, blank=True) In my view I build form: module_item_form2 = ModuleItemForm2() print module_item_form2 And I get the following error on the print line: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'label' It works fine with django 1.0.2. I see the error only in django 1.1. Do you have an idea what am I doing wrong? Regards, Arshavski Alexander.

  • Mysql many to many problem (leaderborad/scoreboard)

    - by zoko2902
    Hi all! I'm working on a small project in regards of the upcoming World Cup. I'm building a roster/leaderboard/scoredboard based on groups with national teams. The idea is to have information on all upcoming matches within the group or in the knockout phase (scores, time of the match, match stats etc.). Currently I'm stuck with the DB in that I can't come up with a query that would return paired teams in a row. I have these 3 tables: CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `wc_team` ( `id` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT , `name` VARCHAR(45) NULL , `description` VARCHAR(250) NULL , `flag` VARCHAR(45) NULL , `image` VARCHAR(45) NULL , `added` TIMESTAMP NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP , PRIMARY KEY (`id`) , CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `wc_match` ( `id` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT , `score` VARCHAR(6) NULL , `date` DATE NULL , `time` VARCHAR(45) NULL , `added` TIMESTAMP NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP , PRIMARY KEY (`id`) , CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `wc_team_has_match` ( `wc_team_id` INT NOT NULL , `wc_match_id` INT NOT NULL , PRIMARY KEY (`wc_team_id`, `wc_match_id`) , I've simplified the tables so we don't go in the wrong direction. Now I've tried al kinds of joins and groupings I could think of, but I never seem to get. Example guery: SELECT t.wc_team_id,t.wc_match_id,c.id.c.name,d.id,d.name FROM wc_team_has_match AS t LEFT JOIN wc_match AS s ON t.wc_match_id = s.id LEFT JOIN wc_team AS c ON t.wc_team_id = c.id LEFT JOIN wc_team AS d ON t.wc_team_id = d.id Which returns: wc_team_id wc_match_id id name id name 16 5 16 Brazil 16 Brazil 18 5 18 Argentina 18 Argentina But what I really want is: wc_team_id wc_match_id id name id name 16 5 16 Brazil 18 Argentina Keep in mind that a group has more matches I want to see all those matches not only one. Any pointer or suggestion would be extremly appreciated since I'm stuck like a duck on this one :).

  • Problem with list slice syntax in python

    - by Dingle
    The extended indexing syntax is mentioned in python's doc. slice([start], stop[, step]) Slice objects are also generated when extended indexing syntax is used. For example: a[start:stop:step] or a[start:stop, i]. See itertools.islice() for an alternate version that returns an iterator. a[start:stop:step] works as described. But what about the second one? How is it used?

  • Help debugging Apache, Passenger and Rails problem

    - by Matt Dressel
    We have an environment running that uses Apache, Passenger and rails. The system is handling most request normally, yet certain requests do not make it to the rails application. For instance, a request to /books is successful, but /books/1 hits apache and passenger, but does not even make it to rails. We set the apache log level to debug and the passenger log level to 3 so that we could monitor all incoming requests. We could see each request coming through and even the /books/1 request is being handled by passenger. But it never gets to rails. Is there any way to determine where the request goes between Passenger and rails or where debugging information might live? Has anyone ever seen any problems with passenger spawning or queuing? We have spawning set to conservative. Also, we have had some permission/ownership problems in the past, so I am not ruling this out yet. Thanks in advance

  • Constructor Overload Problem in C++ Inheritance

    - by metdos
    Here my code snippet: class Request { public: Request(void); ……….. } Request::Request(void) { qDebug()<<"Request: "<<"Hello World"; } class LoginRequest :public Request { public: LoginRequest(void); LoginRequest(QDomDocument); …………… } LoginRequest::LoginRequest(void) { qDebug()<<"LoginRequest: "<<"Hello World"; requestType=LOGIN; requestId=-1; } LoginRequest::LoginRequest(QDomDocument doc){ qDebug()<<"LoginRequest: "<<"Hello World with QDomDocument"; LoginRequest::LoginRequest(); xmlDoc_=doc; } When call constructor of Overrided LoginRequest LoginRequest *test=new LoginRequest(doc); I came up with this result: Request: Hello World LoginRequest: Hello World with QDomDocument Request: Hello World LoginRequest: Hello World Obviously both constructor of LoginRequest called REquest constructor. Is there any way to cape with this situation? I can construct another function that does the job I want to do and have both constructors call that function. But I wonder is there any solution?

  • Problem with impersonating a specific user in WCF service

    - by aJ
    I am having a WCF service hosted in IIS on WindowsServer 2008. This service needs to write to a shared folder present on another machine(Windows XP). The shared folder has write permissions for a particular user say "X" which is present on both the machines .i.e on the server where the service is running as well as the machine where the shared folder is present. The service runs under the NETWORK SERVICE account. For the service to access the shared folder I have added code to impersonate the user "X"in the service so that it gets the permission to write to the shared folder. Since I want to impersonate user "X" only when I run a particular section of code I have used the sample code. Even after the impersonation the service fails to write to the shared folder sometimes. It works sporadically. Whereas if I add tag in the Web.config file it works perfectly fine. <identity impersonate="true" userName="accountname" password="password" /> But the above is not desirable since it impersonates a specific user for all the requests. What I need is to impersonate a specific user only when I run a particular section of code. Also, the impersonation code works absolutely fine when the shared folder is present on another WindowsServer 2008. Could anyone give me ideas on what's going wrong here.

  • MySQL join problem

    Table1 has u_name, Table2 has u_name, u_type and u_admin Table1.u_name is unique. But neither of the 3 fields in Table2 is unique. For any value of Table1.u_name, there are 0 to many entries in Table2 that Table2.u_name equals to that value. For any value of Table1.u_name, there are 0 to 1 entries in Table2 that Table2.u_name equals to that value AND Table2.u_type='S' What I want: Use Table1.u_name to get Table1.*, Table2.u_admin where Table1.u_name=Tabl2.u_name and Table2.u_type='S'. If there is no such entry in Table2 we still need to get Table1.* Please help give me some hints. Thank you so much!

  • iPhone SQLite connection in domain object - close each time?

    - by BahaiResearch.com
    I have what I would consider a small sized iPhone app that uses SQLite. There is a singleton domain object which gets data from a SQLite database. Is it better to create and open the SQLite connection for each request, or to open the DB once and hold on to it for the duration of the app. The app's reason for being is the domain object so other objects will not need the DB.

Two of my columns are called receipe name and ingredients(each field under ingredients can store a number of fruits). What I would like to do is, if a number of checkboxes are selected then the receipe name/s is displayed. Here is my php code. <?php // Make a MySQL Connection mysql_connect("localhost", "*****", "*****") or die(mysql_error()); mysql_select_db("****") or die(mysql_error()); $variable=$_POST['variable']; foreach ($variable as $variablename) { echo "$variablename is checked"; } $query = "SELECT receipename FROM fruit WHERE $variable like ingredients"; $row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result); foreach ($_POST['variabble'] as $ingredients) echo $row[$ingredients] . '<br/>'; ?> I am very new to php and just wish to display the data, I do not need to perform any actions on it. I have tried many select statements but I cannot get any results to display. My db connection is fine and it does print out what variables are checked. Many thanks in advance.

    Hi, I want to listen to the changes occured in file system.I am using FileObserver.Here is my code: Code: class MyDirObserver extends FileObserver { String superPath; public MyDirObserver(String path) { super(path, ALL_EVENTS); this.superPath=path; } public void onEvent(int event, String path) { Log.e("onEvent of Directory", "=== onEvent ==="); try{ _Dump("dir", event, path,superPath); } catch(NullPointerException ex) { Log.e("ERROR","I am getting error"); } } } private void _Dump(final String tag, int event, String path,String superPath) { Log.d(tag, "=== dump begin ==="); Log.d(tag, "path=" + path); Log.d(tag,"super path="+superPath); Log.d(tag, "event list:"); if ((event & FileObserver.OPEN) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " OPEN"); } if ((event & FileObserver.CLOSE_NOWRITE) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " CLOSE_NOWRITE"); } if ((event & FileObserver.CLOSE_WRITE) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " CLOSE_WRITE"); Log.i("NEWFILEOBSERVER","File is Modified"); if(path!=null) { Log.d("---------FilePath",superPath+path); } } if ((event & FileObserver.CREATE) != 0) { isCreate=true; Log.i("NEWFILEOBSERVER","File is Created "); if(path!=null) { Log.d("---------FilePath",superPath+path); } Log.d(tag, " CREATE"); } if ((event & FileObserver.DELETE) != 0) { Log.i("NEWFILEOBSERVER","File is deleted"); if(path!=null) { Log.d("---------FilePath",superPath+path); } // startMyActivity("A new file is deleted thats="+superPath); Log.d(tag, " DELETE"); } if ((event & FileObserver.DELETE_SELF) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " DELETE_SELF"); } if ((event & FileObserver.ACCESS) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " ACCESS"); } if ((event & FileObserver.MODIFY) != 0) { if(!isModified) isModified=true; if(isModified && isOpen) isAgainModified=true; Log.d(tag, " MODIFY"); } if ((event & FileObserver.MOVED_FROM) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " MOVED_FROM"); if(path!=null) { Log.d("---------FilePath",superPath+path); } } if ((event & FileObserver.MOVED_TO) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " MOVED_TO"); if(path!=null) { Log.d("---------FilePath",superPath+path); } } if ((event & FileObserver.MOVE_SELF) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " MOVE_SELF"); } if ((event & FileObserver.ATTRIB) != 0) { Log.d(tag, " ATTRIB"); } Log.d(tag, "=== dump end ==="); } it stops after some time.I dont get the exact time but doesnt work always though I call startWatching() in service in a loop which runs for all the folders of sdcard and calls startWatching() for each of them. It shows unpredictable behaviour and stops listening for some folders and runs perfectly for the others. I hope you guys help me.I tried many ways but it doesnt work perfectly.Am I doing something wrong??? or there we have some other way to do this....... Please help me........I have to get this done withing few days...... Any help is appreciated!!!! Thanks in Advance Nemat
