• solr schema for article->paragraph structure

  Hi guys, I want to index some articles and show the paragraph number in the search result. So I guess the solr schema should looks like this: article_id, paragraph_number, paragraph_content Therefore, I need to parse article first, extract paragraphs and index it one by one. I'm worried about the performance since one article can contain 100 paragraphs. Any suggestion?

  I wrote several XQuery statements to shred existing KPI and Dashboard metadata but I would like to validate my queries by reviewing the corresponding Xml Schema or DTD if it exists. I searched online but could not find what i was looking for. The metadata is stored in Performance Point's back end Sql Server database in the dbo.FCObjects table's SerializedXml column.

• Input-type-file path, where is it stored on AJAX request ?!?

  Hi, I have been monitoring the parameters a website receives when a file is uploaded (via an input type="file"). Surprisingly, the parameter and its value were looking like this : parameter: upfile value: filename="this is the name of the uploaded file.png" Content-type: image/x-png Now in this POST request to the server page, the file name and its type is passed into a parameter, but what about the path to that filename? Where is that path stored so that the server page can upload the file at the good location? Also, I would like to know if it would be possible by any way to specify a path, NOT to the input type="file" since its impossible, but to the server (though this question probably depends a lot on how the server-side page is scripted). Let's say I have an user table in declarative mode: class User(Base): __tablename__ = 'user' id = Column(u'id', Integer(), primary_key=True) name = Column(u'name', String(50)) When I have a list of users identifiers, I fetch them from db with: user_ids = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] users = Session.query(User).filter(User.id.in_(user_ids)).all() I dislike using in_ because I think I learned it has bad performance on indexed fields (is that true/false?). Anyway, is there a better way doing that query? Thanks!

• what is advantage of using headlink() to insert javascript and css in zend framework?

  Documentation says to use headlink()-prependstylesheet() to insert css in the layout file. Also says to use to load the javascript files this way also. Why is this any better than just hard coding the link and script tag right in the header? I would think this is slower performance since its using the framework methods to do it. I've searched through stackoverflow and done some Googling... so here's what I have so far... I really don't care a lot about how beautiful a server side language might be but how much requests per second it can handle. So anyway I'm looking forward to experiment building an entire webapp using Node.js (and going back to the actual question) is there a template engine similar to let's say the django template engine or something similar (that at least allows you to extend base templates) available for Node.js?

  I using servlet and Apache ServletFileUpload that provides stream to uploaded image. All I want to do is to store that image to db and also store resized (I using JAI) version to db. How can I achieve this without saving image to drive. As I understand stream can be read only once. So I need to store whole image in memory? Is it expensive for performance?   Question: In the path HUDSON_HOME/jobs/<jobname>/builds/<timestamp>/workspace-files, there are a series of .tmp files. What are these files, and what feature of Hudson do they support? Background Using Hudson version 1.341, we have a continuous build task that runs on a slave instance. After the build is otherwise complete, including archiving the artifacts, task scanner, etc., the job appears to hang for a long period of time. In monitoring the master node, I noted that many .tmp files were being created and modified under builds//workspace=files, and that some of them were very large. This appears to be causing the delay, as the job completed at the same time that files in this path stopped changing. Some key configuration points of the job: It is tied to a specific slave node It builds in a 'custom workspace' It triggers a downstream job that builds in the same custom workspace on the same slave node
