  • Macro for one-to-many splitting of Word documents

    I have a Word document which is several hundred pages long. I would like to use a macro to automatically create about a dozen or so sub-documents based on certain rules (mainly, occurrence of certain strings in each Section). Is this possible? What VBA functions should I read-up on? Does anybody know of any code examples which are even remotely similar and which I may be able to customize for my purposes? Thanks

I'm looking for an open source, programmable video player. Must: Play video files from a user's computer not a server Connect to a server to retrieve/send info (not limited to file xfer) Prefer: Web-based player Easily programmable (because i'm no pro at programming <; Any names of open-source programs or players that you guys think I could use?     Alright, I'm trying to work on a function for active user counting in an AJAX based application. I want to express the below SQL Query in correct syntax but I'm not sure how to write it. The desired SQL Query is below: SELECT count(*) FROM active WHERE timestamp > time() - 1800 AND nick=(a string that doesn't contain [AFK]) Now, I do understand that time() - 1800 can be assigned to a variable, but how is timestamp > variable and nick that doesn't contain a string written in SQL?

    I have two models device and log setup as such: class device(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=20) code = models.CharField(max_length=10) description = models.TextField() class log(model.Model): device = models.ForeignKey(device) date = models.DateField() time = models.TimeField() data = models.CharField(max_length=50) how do I get a list which contains only the most recent record/log (based on time and date) for each device and combine them in the format below: name,code,date,time,data being a Django newbie I would like to implement this using Django's ORM. I'm working on building a tool where I can select text in the browser, and it will generate (via some web service call) a classifier that can be used on other documents to pull out text.   • How do i resize image file to optional sizes

    Hi I have image upload form, user attaches aimage file, and selects image size to resize the uploaded image file(200kb, 500kb, 1mb, 5mb, Original). Then my script needs to resize image file size based on user's optional size, but im not sure how to implement this feature, For example, user uploads image with one 1mb size, and if user selects 200KB to resize, then my script should save it with 200kb size. Does anyone know or have an experience on similar task ? Thanks for you reply in advance.

    I am producing a javascript-based widget. Nothing complex just a few document.writes... When I place it inline in the page it renders fine in all browsers. When I place it externally and load it via it fails to render in Firefox and IE but not Chrome. Anyone know why and a possible workaround?
