    hello, I wanted to know what is the use the MessageParameterAttribute in wcf. In my function: [OperationContract] public float GetAirfare( [MessageParameter(Name=”fromCity”)] string originCity, [MessageParameter(Name=”toCity”)] string destinationCity); I dont use fromCity or toCity anywhere in the implementation or even while using a service. Then whats the point in giving it a name?

  • NSOperation inside NSOperationQueue not being executed

    I really need help here. I'm desperate at this point. I have NSOperation that when added to the NSOperationQueue is not being triggered. I added some logging to see the NSOperation status and this is the result: Queue operations count = 1 Queue isSuspended = 0 Operation isCancelled? = 0 Operation isConcurrent? = 0 Operation isFinished? = 0 Operation isExecuted? = 0 Operation isReady? = 1 Operation dependencies? = 0 The code is very simple. Nothing special. The main is never executed. The most weird thing (believe me, I'm not crazy .. yet). If I put a break point in any NSLog line or in the creation of the operation the main method will be called and everything will work perfectly. This have been working fine for a long time. I have been making some changes recently and apparently something screw things up. One of those changes was to upgrade the device to iOS 5.1 SDK (iPad). To add something, I have the iPhone (iOS 5.1) version of this application that use the same NSOperation object. The difference is in the UI only, and everything works fine.   • drag to pan on an UserControl

    Hello, I'm trying to build my own "PictureBox like" control adding some functionalities. For example, I want to be able to pan over a big image by simply clicking and dragging with the mouse. The problem seems to be on my OnMouseMove method.     Hi, since in mysql datetime field is represented as string (i'm not sure how it works internally), wouldn't be from performance point of view faster to store date as unix timestamp? I don't need to use any mysql native date functions, i'm going for performance of sorting and selecting data. if there was an index for that column, would be difference between int and datetime? I wish to put an htaccess file in the project subfolder, so that in every file of the project, / will point to mydomain.com/project instead of mydomain.com So / will be mydomain/project, /lib/img will be mydomain/project/lib/img, etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I want to find near friends for current user, but it takes a lot of time of executing select query to know if user is a friend and after that execute select using ST_DWithin.. May be something wrong in domain model or in queries?
