  If i have a controller action "Create" that returns a view with the following as the Model type: public class PaymentModel { public Model.SummaryInformation SummaryInformation; public Model.CardDetail CardDetail; } If there is a button on this view that POST's to an action "New" and I want that action to recieve a different object e.g. public class PaymentNewModel { public Model.CardDetail CardDetail; } Is this possible?   Hi, I need to use volume buttons to control a variable parameter in my application. I use Activity.onKeyDown to get notified when the button is pressed but the media volume is also increased. Android is doing something like below when I press the volume key: 1. increase media / ringtone volume 2. pass the event to my application Is there a way to avoid increasing the system volume and use volume key only for my application ? • Make a mouse pointer do a hyper-jump?

  I run a dual monitor setup. To get from monitor 1 to 2 (or vice-versa) requires lots of unnecessary mouse movement. My thought was to leverage a extra mouse button (I have two) and have the mouse hyper-jump (apologies to Star Trek) from the XY coordinates on monitor 1 to the same XY coordinates on monitor 2. How would I go about doing this? Could it be done via C#?

• Does changing background color in android destroy the widget's appearance?

  I've noticed that changing the background color of an android widget (f.ex. Button or TextView) by program: myButton.setBackgroundColor(Color.BLUE); makes it to loose its 3D shape, border, and shadows effects, and then appears like a ugly flat square. What am I missing? Sorry for the very naive question but I couldn't get it right although tried for a time.

  I know at some point I'd come across a Google service built into their API that would provide local information as markers on the viewport (schools, hospitals, etc.)-- I believe this was a simple control that could be added just like the normal map controls, to allow users to turn it on or off with a checkbox or button. • 398 row datalist slowing down modal open????

  Hey guys I got a weird issue.. I have a datalist that's only loaded on pageload it contains 2 columns a name and date and has 398 rows.. In IE 7 and above(and prob previous version) when I open a modal via a button click it takes almost 5 seconds to open. HOWEVER, if I do not bind this datalist it's MUCH faster.. Also this is only happening in IE, Chrome, Firefox and opera both open the modal instantly with the datalist binded... Josh
