  • Best way to mock WCF Client proxy

    Are there any ways to mock a WCF client proxy using Rhino mocks framework so I have access to the Channel property? I am trying to unit test Proxy.Close() method but as the proxy is constructed using the abstract base class ClientBast which has the ICommunication interface, my unit test is failing as the internal infrastructure of the class is absent in the mock object. Any good ways with code samples would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm trying to automate in a WinForm using a WebBrowser control to navigate and pull report info from a website. You can enter values in textboxes and invoke the click events for buttons and links, but I have not figured out how select a option drop-down .... in a automated way.     Hi When Compiling my Web Deployment Project which references a Asp.Net project with a App_Browsers folder I get the following compilation error: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_compiler.exe -v /[PROJECTNAME].csproj -p "[FILEPATH]" -u -f -d .\TempBuildDir\ ASPNETCOMPILER : error ASPRUNTIME: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. If I remove the App_Browsers folder everything works perfectly. Any help would be appreciated.

    So I have a duration in seconds of a video and I would like to display that duration in Razor. Currently I am using @TimeSpan.FromSeconds(item.Duration).ToString() However the rest of the code I am using uses @Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => item.Description) Is there way to get the duration (currently an int) to display a as a timespan? using the @Html.DisplayFor syntax. The item.duration is pulling form a Entity Framework model which is held as a int in the database.

My goal is to have a silverlight application 100% backed by F#; the examples that are referenced as working are mostly C# silverlight apps calling F# Libraries. I am using the XmlSerializer instead of DataContractSerializer and targeting Framework v3.5 with VS2010 The proxy classes are generated with the following attribute for each property [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlArrayAttribute(Order=20)] How can i tell the utility to suppress generating the Order parameter?

Back in the day, we were organizing our "model"/business logic code into VBScript classes, or into VB COM components. Of course, now we have the additional power of c# and the .net framework classes.   • NoSQL vs Ehcache caching advise for speeding up read only mysql Database

    I'm building a Route Planner Webapp using Spring/Hibernate/Tomcat and a mysql database, I have a database containing read only data, such as Bus Stop Coordinates, Bus times which is never updated. I'm trying to make the app run faster, each time the application is run it will preform approx 1000 reads to the database to calculate a route. I have setup a Ehcache which greatly improves the read from database times. I'm now setting terracotta + Ehcache distributed caching to share the cache with multiple Tomcat JVMs. This seems a bit complicated. I've tried memcached but it was not performing as fast as ehcache. I'm wondering if a MongoDb or Redis would be better suited. I have no experience with nosql but I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas. What i need is quick access to the read only database.

I'm thinking things like ORMs (NHibernate, EF), logging frameworks (Log4Net), IoC containers, rules engines, UI frameworks (Telerik), etc. Are there certain technologies that you always bring in regardless of project type / complexity? Are there certain others that you bring in sometimes when complexity warrants it? This seems like a moving target, and I'm curious what people are using as their "basic setup" nowadays.

    Hi at all, I have 2 site: example.com and exampletwo.com I want that when a user login on example.com then he is automatically authenticated also on exampletwo.com How can I do that ? I use Django + Nginx on first website and Tornado framework + Tornado server on second website. Thanks ;) . P.S.   • activemq-maven-plugin ignore files in classpath?

    I have been trying to get activemq-maven-plugin to run activemq with configuration in classpath of the bundle. However, I don't have much luck. It seems that the activemq-maven-plugin just ignore resources (resources/main/conf/activemq.properties) the local bundle. I checked the jar and target/classes and they are built into the right local. I am able to get plugin to run (mvn activemq:run) if I take out the PropertyPlaceholderConfigurer bean in the activemq.xml Did I do anything wrong?   • tomcat JAXB 1 and 2 linkageerror

    Hi there, I'm running a tomcat 6, spring, apache cxf webservice, know it is a must to add one third party library to my webapp to fulfill an order. I have jaxb-impl-2.1.12.jar for apache cxf in WEB-INF/lib folder and the new library which contains the JAXB 1.0 runtime. JAXB 2 ist used by apache cxf for dynamic clients (i need them). So is there a possibility to run the webapps with both libraries? Best regards Alex Caused by: java.lang.LinkageError: You are trying to run JAXB 2.0 runtime but you have old JAXB 1.0 runtime earlier in the classpath. Please remove the JAXB 1.0 runtime for 2.0 runtime to work correctly.
